"Huh, i've never been over here before..." Kat muttered to herself, as she walked toward an old shop. The store looked interesting - the olden look of the place, the rainbow of plants, the smell of tea coming inside... Kat stepped in just to see what it was. The smell of tea hit her nose, making her mouth water. The summer heat was beating down on Kat, and she needed something to drink. Eager to quench her thirst, she walked up to the counter, and waited for the shop owner to finish talking to her other customers.

Kat put a little bit of the ointment on each of the bandages. "It shouldn't hurt too much. Trust me, you'd rather suffe through some stinging than getting that infected." a few seconds after saying this, she felt a drop of rain hit her mane. "Hey, I'm thinking we should start heading inside somewhere..."

UPDATE: I found out that the person who supervises my group is kind of a brony, while discussing ideas for Halloween costumes. She's also the person who knew the FIM theme song, so I wasn't realy surprised.

I don't know why, but I've always felt weird telling people about forums and social networks. I'll probably tell them though.

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here is currently attending the Joseph Baldwin Accademy. I'm just curious to see if there's any bronies here! (for those of you who don't know, it's a summer-camp.) A little offtopic, but I've met one person who confirmed they watch FIM, one who knows the theme song, which I guess could mean they watch it, and someone asked if I was a brony. And today, we had a scavenger hunt type activity, in which I sung the FIM theme song twice. Thanks!

Kat giggled. It was rather funny seeing the little filly walk on her hind legs. "Ah, nothing much. just a little neosporin, and then i put the bandage on!" Kat opened her saddlebags, and got the neosporin and bandages out. "Now, just put your front hooves on the bench, and I'll put the bandages on!" As she said this, thunder sounded over head. "Aww, i didn't know there was a storm scheduled for today..." [OOC]Gah! I need to respond to these quicker! Sorry![/ooc]

I was thinking something Derpy related... I could get bubbles, and wear all gray, but i have no blonde hair... I might consider that though!

I guess I should elaborate on this a bit as well. I'd like for it to be something pony-related, but nothing like a: .But if you have an idea that's not really something MLP that you think is good, don't be afraid to suggest it!

Hah! I love these ideas, but i was thinking something more along the lines of MLP-themed... I guess i should have emphasized that more in the first post.

So, I'm going to this summer camp in a few days. Every year, they have a "Halloween", where people have costumes and do crap. Since i'm not good with ideas, and you guys are a pretty creative bunch, I was thinking I could enlist your creative powers. I'm not really wanting things that aren't MLP related, but if you have a good idea, go ahead.. I'm looking for something that's not going to make people think i'm weird, like a full-on twilight sparkle cosplay, but something rather simple. I just need ideas, so suggestions would be fine. Also, i need to be able to buy the materials at a store, and assemble them rather easily. Thanks!

It took a few seconds for her to realize it, but Kat noticed Violet was clapping. It was a relief to no longer hear Violet screaming. "Wow you're a great singer, Kat!" said Violet. Kat giggled a little. "No I'm not! I'm good, but not great." Violet wiped a few drops of blood off in the grass. "Hey Violet, let me see your belly. I might have some bandages in my saddlebags. Speaking of which, I should probably bring them back over here." [ooc]Kat was sitting on a bench by the pond, and saddlebags are the only place a pony could hold bandages without some sort of pocket.[/ooc]

Kat didn't know what to do! The little filly seemed impossible to calm down. It seemed rather ironic to her that Violet's hobby was to scare ponies, yet she couldn't stand the sight of a few drops of blood. "Um..." Kat tried to poke Violet with her hoof, but was swatted away by Violet's flailing. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head. It wasn't even a good idea, or one that even worked, but it was an idea. Kat took a deep breath, and began to sing, hoping it would calm Violet down. For a thousand years I've waited here for you Waiting every night For I thought you were the answer to my life Days turned into years and into centuries Patience had to fade Don't you see that there is vengeance in my eyes? At this point, Kat kind of forgot about Violet. As she hit each note, she slipped a little farther away from reality. [ooc]Kat gets very involved in her singing.[/ooc] Luna won't you cry for me I'm as lonely as I've ever been I am forced back into the start Is there any way to fix a broken heart? "Watch this~! I bet I can fly even farther than you did!" were the very last words Kat wanted to hear. The filly had never done this before, and didn't know how to land correctly. A split second after hearing those words, Kat yelled out, "No, wait! You're going t-" she paused as Violet released her grip of the swings. As violet flew through the air, Kat stiffened. It only took less than a second to realize, she's not going to land right! Violet landed on her stomach, and slid across the ground, coming to a stop just before where Kat stood. "Oh my gosh, are you alright?" Kat asked/shouted. He noticed red scratches running down the unicorn's chest, and some starting to bleed. "Horseapples! This is my fault! I am so sorry!" [ooc]yay, a chance for adventure! [/ooc]

"Hey, don't apologize. I'm the one who yelled at you." Kat said, and laughed at Violet's "mean streak" comment. Violet started to swing back and forth harder. "Hah! If you think THAT is fun, just wait until you can do this..." Kat gathered some more speed. Just as the swing started to slow down, kat flung herself off the swing. Kat felt the rush of adrenaline as she reached the zenith of her flight. When she finally touched the ground, she landed on all fours. "Fillies and Gentelcolts," she looked back at Violet. "Don't try this at home." [OOC]How the hell do ponies swing?[/OOC]

Kat could relate to Violet. "I know exactly how you feel. Older ponies expect me to be mature and fancy, like I live in Manehattan or something. I just want to be able to dance and sing, but everypony judges me for it. I want to play with the toys they sell in town,even if they only entertain me for minutes. To be able to write and draw and dream without someone thinking I'm weird or unrealistic. I'm expected to conform to the rest of the community and be a 'normal' pony!" She paused for a second. "Heh... That was deep. You know Violet, we've only just met no more than an hour ago, and i'm starting to like you! Oh, and uh, sorry for yelling at you earlier. I shouldn't have done that..."

"Yes, I LOVE coming here." Kat replied. "Well, that is, when I'm not working or doing homework. I usually sit down by the pond and practice singing, or draw something." this was strange for Kat; she hardly ever talks this much to other ponies, not even her sister or teachers. "Well, I don't really play, but I like to take walks too. Especially on days like this. It isn't too hot, not too cold, and some clouds in the sky. It really helps me clear my mind, and think of ideas for songs. You know, everything seems more peaceful without a lot of ponies here. I like it."

[OOC]Oh my god I couldn't get to this for a while! I'm sorry! Please don't kill me![OOC] Kat was relieved to see the spider was only rubber, and sighed a breath of relief when Skitters was levitated back up on Violet's head. "He's my toy spider. But he's like a pet to me~! Besides he doesn't bite like the other spiders I tried having as pets did. Hey...! I scared you after all! And by complete accident." Kat giggled. "Well, I'll have to think of something to get you back!" "You don't mind me keeping the little guy on my head like this do you?" Violet said. "I don't wanna accidentally sit on him again. He didn't seem very happy that I sat on him once already." Kat got back on her swing. "Oh, no! I don't mind. I think I'm starting to like Skitters!" She felt a smile forming on her face. Her day probably wouldn't be too bad after all.

"Skitters?" she asked with confusion. Violet didn't respond, since she was probably focused on whatever skitters was. "What's Skitt-Eep!" Kat fell off the swing on to her back. Bugs didn't creep her out, but Kat hadn't been expecting violet to pull a spider out of her pocket, and much less a spider of that size. Violet seemed to notice her fall on the ground. "Oh, sorry if I just freaked you out. I totally forgot the little guy was in my pocket." Kat got up and brushed some dirt out of her mane and got back on her swing. "Yes! Why do you even have a spider in your pocket anyways?" Well, she is young, and she did say she likes to scare other ponies.

"No, I really can't think of anything else." [OOC]I really can't.[/OOC] Kat plopped herself down on a swing. She loved swinging, and it was one of her favorite things to do at the park when she was a littly filly. Kat thought for a second about what Violet just said. "No, it's definitely not you! I think Pinkie Pie is hosting a party at sugarcube corner today or something."

"Again? What do you mean you went in to the Everfree Forest again?" Kat was amazed - well, that is, if Violet was telling the truth. "Well, I guess you're right. It is a park..." Kat realized the smile on her face wasn't even part fake now. This little foal had cheered her up. "Hey, I know! We could do... No, you're probably not interested, unless you like swinging."

It took a few more seconds for Kat's head to stop spinning. "Parents..." that had brought up some old memories. "Yeah, traveling is a pretty dangerous thing. You'd understand when you're a filly." She fidgeted, not sure what to do. "So, I'm guessing there's something you wanted to do once you got over here?"

Kat's fake smile became a little less fake, and more genuine. Finally, something nice that happened today. I just hope it lasts... "Oh, it's um, fine." Kat shook her head back and forth, drying off her mane. ''Aww come one it's not that bad, cheer up. What's got you so down anyway?'' "Well, if you want to know..." Kat took a deep breath. "I flunked three tests, ate some baked bads, got sick, and my house was nearly burned down by my sister!" Kat tried to spin around to look at the foal, but couldn't, and gave up after getting dizzy. "What are you doing here?"

Kat gave the other pony a death stare. ''Oh... I'm Violet, who are you?'' After seeing the pony was just a little filly and was trying to be nice, she calmed down a little. "Um, I'm... You can just call me Kat." Kat put on a fake smile and tried to act like she wasn't mad, but according to the purple filly's face, it didn't seem to be working. ''Oh sorry for trying to scare you back there. It's kind of a hobby of mine.''' "Well, um, just make sure who you try to scare." Kat suddenly felt a cold trickle of something down her back... "Hey, you're a unicorn." She got off the bench and turned around to show her back to Violet. "Do you think you could help me get some of this stuff off?"

There was a rustling of leaves behind Kat. At first, she just ignored it. A few more seconds later, the rustle happened again, but closer than it was. She had no patience right now. Again, another rustle of leaves, a bit closer. Kat turned around to see a little bunny playing around in the grass. "Gosh darnit! Can't you just leave me alone?" She shouted, and scared the little bunny away. Just as the bunny was hopping away, Kat noticed a purple unicorn looking at her from behind some playground equipment. Oh, for the love Celestia, can i just get some PEACE AND QUIET?
