Kane was surprised to see Radz. "You've been away for a while." He said sarcastically. He looked back to Tavi as he remembered the things that happened. "I imagine him, Black and Vi are all finally happy together now." He said solemnly.

Ash put a hoof on Snow as she wept quietly. "I'm sorry if I bring back memories." She said somewhat remorsefully, knowing she was a fire element like Storm was. Snow shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry about, hun. If anything, you bring me some peace by reminding me of him." She said with a small smile.

Kane nodded. "I'm honored to be at Azure's side as he was at mine. Mother is already preparing to wed them. She says it reminds her of mine and Autumn's wedding." He took a puff of his pipe. "Hopefully all hell won't break lose this time." He said with a small laugh.

Snow noticed Ash and tried to compose herself. "Oh, hey Ash. What's up?" She said, trying to play it off. Ash sat next to her by the window. "What's wrong?" Ash asked. Snow sighed and wiped her face. "Just thinking about my boyfriend....I miss him so much." She said softly, a hand on her pregnant belly.

Kane took a puff of the pipe he was smoking. "So how are these two doing?" He asked, nodding to Azure and Dawn.

((I guess she could catch wind of the invasion and give Silent a little hell before they reach Canterlot.))

((You could say Radz was out working on her magic or something and has returned to help start training the new acolytes.))

((It's been sitting right here in the FFA section this whole time and you never noticed me and Trax posting in it? Basically Kane has an evil brother he never knew about who went to a place called Maveris and united a bunch of pony tribes and is invading Equestria to try and kill Kane. Cadence's daughter named Ash is the new fire element.))

Ash nodded and walked away to rest for a moment. She laid down on a couch and sighed in relief. Suddenly she heard a soft weeping sound from the next room. She went closer to it and cracked the door. She saw Snow sitting by a window softly weeping while looking out the window. "Snow?" Ash asked softly.

"Please, Tavi. You know you don't have to be formal with me." He said with a smile as he sat with the ponies he considered his aunt and uncle. "But yes, despite it all, I slept alright last night."

Ash finished the spell she was practicing before nodding confidently at Ignius. "It feels good to actually have my magic under control now."

Kane walked into the garden smoking a pipe like he usually did in the mornings. "Hello friends." He said to Tavi and Trax.

The next morning Ash was in the training room practicing her fire spells. She had begun to adjust pretty quickly and was almost ready to start teaching the acolytes herself.

Kane looked down on the city from his tower. He turned and prepared to head to the throne room to deal with more war plans. He stopped and kissed a sleeping Autumn before leaving.

((Yeah, let's just say it was a port city and it got overrun before anyone could send a message for help.))

Later that night Kane lay in his bed, his hooves behind his head staring at the ceiling. His beautiful wife, Princess Autumn Rain, was curled up next to him with her head on his chest. "You sound stressed, dear." She said softly. Kane sighed. "Wouldn't you be?" He replied. "He won't beat you, Kane. He proved to Equestria he was cowardly and weak. You are better than him." Kane smiled and kissed her forehead. "I hope you're right."

On the western most coast of Equestria, a thick layer of fog covered the sea. A lone dock worker walked out onto the dock, smoking a pipe and peering into the dark, foggy waters. Suddenly he heard what sounded like chanting. Before he knew it, several massive warships were rowing towards the shore, the chanting coming from the massive ponies rowing. The dock worker panicked as he ran and rapid rang the town bell. The ships landed as the troops stormed the beach.

Kane smiled as he finished the glass of wine quickly. "Where would I be without ponies like you?" He said, getting up from his throne. "It's getting late. Everypony needs rest right now." He turned to head to his chambers, where a special somepony was waiting for him.

Kane sighed as a servant brought him a glass of wine. "I suppose that's good news." He said taking a sip. "We don't have much time. Soon he will be here."

"Apparently my father killed too many bat ponies, even though they were evil." Kane said annoyed. "So no, it did not go well. Looks like we're on our own."

Ledus returned to the Elemental Castle after returning Kane to Canterlot. She greeted Snow as she landed near the other Dragons. "How did it go?" Snow asked, gently stroking Ledus' face. "Not so well I'm afriad..."

Kane pushed the throne room doors open and walked in, his irritation was visible. He sat down on his throne and rested his head on a hoof, sighing loudly.

((Eh, I guess your right. Ignore that then.))

Blood nodded as he went to gather soldiers for a patrol.

Several large ponies had just entered the city through a secret passage in the wall. A bat pony stood waiting for them. "You're inside, now honor the agreement." He said to Silent's men.

((I actually had a better idea. I was going to have some of Silent's men come in and attack Echo which would make Shadow want to join the fight.))

Kane stared at the brothers for a long moment before sighing and turning to leave. "Then may you have better luck than we do when Silent's horde comes and knocks down your door." He said, walking away without another word.

Blood glared at Kane before stepping forward. "You are the son of Soulscream, are you not?" He asked Kane. Kane raised an eyebrow. "Yes, I am." Blood continued to glare at him. "The son of a savage comes to beg for our aid. Brother, how many bat ponies have fallen to the blades of the Nightwatch? How many of our people has Soulscream murdered, claiming to be a follower of our Night Princess?" He turned away from Kane. "You have to understand, those bat ponies served Black, he was an enemy and-" Blood shot him a glare before he could finish. "It matters not. Those who served him still had families that suffered. Brother, I would not shed a single drop of blood for his kingdom."

((I have a plan if you want Shadow to turn Kane down as well))

((Where's Killjoy? I figured he'd want to take part in this, seeing as how he seemed to have more planed for Radz))

Blood stood next to his brother's throne and glared at Kane. Kane took a breath before speaking. "My wayward brother, Silent Night, who was banished long ago for attempting to assassinate my parents and the princesses, has been slowly preparing his revenge, and now is in position to invade Equestra. He has united the strongest tribes and clans of Maveris, home of the Mavericks. They're bigger, stronger, and meaner than any normal pony of Equestria. He commands a horde mighty enough to wipe out Canterlot, and we don't have the power to defend ourselves at the moment due to the dragon attacks." Kane paused for a moment as Blood kept glaring at him, not trusting the mortal king. "I know this means nothing to you, but understand that if Canterlot falls, he will come for Vampireece next."

Blood and Kane looked at each other for a long time. Finally Blood nodded. "Fine, lets hear what he has to say." Blood said, turning and heading back for the palace. "Don't want to keep Echo waiting do we, brother?" He teased with a smirk.

As they neared the steps of the castle in Vampireece, another bat pony royal came to greet them. He stared at Kane with confusion. "Brother, why is this outsider here?" Bloodline asked. Kane raised an eyebrow at him. "That's King Outsider to you, friend."

Kane sheathed his sword and followed Shadow through the tunnel towards Vampireece. "Always with the scare tactics I see." He commented as they finally neared the gates. He looked up at the massive walls, wondering how such a large city could remain so hidden.

Kane drew his sword and pointed it at the bar ponies surrounding him. "If you value yours, you will stand down and take me to your king. I have no time to waste on you fledglings." He said without fear, asserting his dominance over them.
