The Batman cartoon was the best thing ever when I was a kid. Seriously. I have so much nostalgia for that show.
And Mark Hamil's Joker was a big part of it.
Great, now I'm going to start frantically searching for episodes of it streaming somewhere.
-
Pinkie Pie, of course! I've always been a fan of the strange, quirky characters, and Pinkie nails that for sure.
-
Good ol' Washington has stayed nice and mild from the heatwave the rest of America was having. U jelly?
We're only just starting to finally cool off.

Hello new best friend! Did you know you're my new best friend? Of course not. Because it just happened. Right now.
Honestly, who can possibly hate the Batman cartoon?
Or Arkham Asylum, because he voiced that Joker too, who was amazing.
-
What, I'm not allowed to vote for Mark Hamill as best Joker? That's awfully disappointing.

I could probably pick a few...
First would be Scott Pilgrim by Plumtree. Not so much for the lyrics (though they accurately describe my awful love-life), but more for just the overall tone and sound of it all. It's up-beat, and keeps my spirits high no matter what. Plus, I've always thought of myself as a young Scott Pilgrim in a way.
Another one would be Money by Pink Floyd, due to its smooth and relaxing beat through the whole song, as I can often be a rather chill guy in the face of worrisome troubles, letting them all just blow away and focusing on what's going right. Plus, being unemployed and almost in college and having a car, money's pretty important for the time being.
I'd have to think for a while more if I was gonna pick, like, a whole album to describe my life, but for me right now, those songs headline the soundtrack to my life.

100 points to each of you! Those were some good ones.
Next up: "How Luna spent her time on the moon."

Hey, everypony! Welcome to "Whose Line is it Anyway?", where everything's made up and the points are muffins! First game tonight will be "Scenes From a Hat."
Our first topic:
Things you don't write to Princess Celestia about.

Ugh, I could fill an entire thread, so I'll boil it down to my top 5 with good reasoning.
1: Crazed Fans. Yeah, congrats you like Bieber, or Twilight, or Lady Gaga, or whatever. I don't. You don't have to cram how amazing you think they are down my throat. Sure, I try and convince you MLP is good, but if you don't like it after giving it a try, that's your opinion and I respect it.
2: Oprah Winfrey. I just don't trust someone with that much money, especially when they give it all away for no reason.
3: Modern American Television. Big Brother, Jersey Shore, Hoarders. It's all I hear about from the TV of my country, and I can't stand it. We're out of ideas. Someone get BBC in here.
4: First Person Shooters. Now I don't hate ALL first person shooters. Half Life 2 is one of my favorite games ever made, and I do enjoy Halo from time to time. But the fact that the market is Call of Duty this and Battlefield that, it's a little disappointing how few ideas we have now. Granted, things like Deus Ex and Dust 514 interest me for being FPS games and yet breaking the mold CoD set, but it doesn't change the fact that the genre is getting tired to me. Also, Black Ops is the worst game I've played this year, hands down.
5: Super Religious People. I have nothing against religion in general, total love/tolerance for that. It's generally the people I can't stand. You know, the ones who post Bible quotes every day as their Facebook status and claim that what you're doing is a sin, and whatnot. It's fine if you're religious, just stop trying to make EVERYONE AROUND YOU exactly the same. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
I suppose that sums it up pretty well for me. I could go on, but I'll spare you that XD

I was almost completely different when I was a kid.
Circa 1998 (age 5), I was in karate, I loved hiking and running around, I read books feverishly (even more than I played video games, a horrifying thought), I loved every kind of bug, and I beat up my older sister if she made me mad.
Nowadays, I'm cowardly (lover, not a fighter), I'm lazy as all hell, I have willingly read maybe 3 books in the past several years, I'm a gaming addict in a way, I tend to swat away bugs the second they're in my personal space, and my older sister likes to beat me up sometimes.
OH THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGING :U

Yeah...I didn't realize there was an earthquake until I logged onto Memebase that day.

I was not but 3 years old when late one night, after the sun went down, my dad came home with a couple of big cardboard boxes. After pulling stuff out and plugging them into the TV, blocky colors flew all over the screen and I was mesmerized. He handed me a controller, told me to have fun, and I started playing Duck Hunt.
Yeah, I was playing first-person shooters age 3.
Like a bawss.

I have all the episodes on my iPod, my wallpaper is Pinkie Pie, and I hum the tunes when I'm laying around.
I spent my time before a job interview watching Fall Weather Friends for crying out loud.
I have no shame in being a Brony. Why should I?
-
Doc and Phil, thank you!
Tales, I saw the character design contest from a friend and checked out the winners, then decided I should join. So far, I'm glad I did.
Aisu, Pokemon is the embodiment of my childhood. Great to meet another newbie here!
-
Hey there! I found this place after the Design contest, and figured I'd stick around for a while.
My name's Frank Allen. I'm 18, live in Bremerton, Washington, and I've been a Brony since...February, I believe. I'm a bassist in a band (and play guitar on the side), I sometimes draw assorted comic strips, and I play video games like some sort of addict (my entire morning was Fallout: New Vegas and Pokemon: Soul Silver is sitting right next to me.) I used to be an RP nut, but that sort of died out after I lost contact with some old friends of mine, and I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things there. Here's hoping I make new friends here too!
Also, Pinkie Pie is best poni.

Congratulations on the win! She's absolutely adorable!
Doctor Who
in Entertainment and Geekery
Posted
I'm surprised there wasn't one before, but I dub this the official discussion thread on everyone's favorite Time Lord, Doctor Who. Whether you enjoy William Hartnell or Matt Smith, fight Daleks or Weeping Angels, any and all chatter and nonsense about this amazing piece of sci-fi mastery goes here!
Also, if you want to catch up on Doctor Who with any episode you choose (and I do mean ANY), do visit http://www.crossingthewhoniverse.com/index.html. It's a bit ad-ridden, and quite a few episodes run on the infamous 72 minute MegaVideo streaming, but it's a small price to pay for every Doctor anytime.
Now then, did anyone see God Complex tonight? I don't have cable and I'm afraid I missed it.
