Killjoy

Maelstrom glanced at Black Star as if giving a warning "there is not a soul here that is useless, even pawns on a chess board are of equal importance to the rest of the pieces. The two that are missing are very important, and if I recall Black Star, you were beaten by one of those "worthless" members. Next time before you open your mouth about any of our brothers, do check where you stand." He said calmly but with a very cold essence. Maelstrom stood up with his hands behind his back. "As you can all see, our recent battle costed us six of our dear brothers who we shall honor in blood. The only one to blame for their deaths is me, I should have chosen more wisely. For the ones close to those who were lost, I give my deepest apologies for my misjudgment." He said with a bow. "Though the loss is heavy on us all, we must not delay, let's us begin on what we know."

Killjoy stared at caesar, she noticed his eyes and saw that they were the same as Ally's, her hand gripped the handle of her Katana tightly. Killjoy glanced at Trax as she heard his orders, she growled as she glared at Caesar walking off, but before he could disappear out of sight "hey...you can tell your sister I'm coming for her, next time she wont be running away without something missing...I can guarantee that..."

Killjoy looked back seeing the ice spike going towards her opponent "that's mine..." she said as she sliced through the middle of the spike as both halves landed besides the Silent fang lying in the scorched dirt. "I'm not one to share." She approached the Silent Fang until she was only inches away, she looked over the battered body as the Silent Fang coughed "all hail Mael-" he began to say before Killjoy's blade drove into his skull "shutup..." she said coldly pulling out her sword and flicking the blood off into ground before slowly sheathing it. She glanced back toward her allies to see that everyone was still breathing and have successfully pushed back the assault. She suddenly realized that there was one missing, her former student. She scanned the area around but saw no sign of Azure "guys, we are missing one, I cant see Azure anywhere!" She called out.

Killjoy growled "DONT YOU RUN AWAY FROM ME!!!" she shouted as she went to pursue before Ally could disappear but was cut off by the random Silent Fang as he slashed at Killjoy with his sword, Killjoy deflected the strike with ease. "You're in my way!" She yelled. The Batkin smirked before charging with great speed, but Killjoy quickly side stepped as the batkin passed. Killjoy sliced up his back with her sword "just walk away...before you become just a number in the mass of bodies that litter this ground." she said coldly. The Silent Fang grunted as the large gash healed quickly. "All because you were blessed with a new trait and trained for merely a year, you talk like you're better than us...truth is, you will all be but maggots under Lord Maelstrom, it is better to die for him, than leave for myself...dying here would be an honor knowing I gave my life to his cause. He-" he was cut off as Killjoy loudly scoffed "ugh, all I hear is your Lord's "truth" down your throat as if you were a royal maid. Just shut up and fight or walk away." Killjoy taunted. The Silent Fang growled as he suddenly shot forward and stopped just behind Killjoy. Killjoy's hand rested on the hilt of her katana that was now back in it's scabbard. Blood gushed out of the Silent Fang's Gut but the wound healed almost instantly. "Such speed...it's not...possible..." he said feeling the loss of blood weakening him, the need to feed was nearly overwhelming. "Well it is whether you like it or not..." Killjoy said as she placed her hand on the back of the Silent Fang's head as electricity scorched his skin and hair as he shot forward into the dirt creating a scar.

Blood trickled down Ally's cheek, in the time Ally made her blow, Killjoy was able to make a small slice into her left cheek. Killjoy vanished out of the air before she hit the ground. Lightning seemed to came out of the ground and shooting towards Ally, the lightning burned her skin as Killjoy kneed Ally in the chin causing a shockwave. "Dont worry..." Killjoy vanished again and appeared behind Ally "I'm just warming up a little." She said kicking Ally in the side causing her ribs to falter, the landing another kick to Ally's right arm also causing it break. With each blow, electricity burned Ally's flesh. Killjoy appeared back to Ally's front spinning rapidly sending her heel down on top of Ally's head as she was driven into the ground once again creating a crater beneath them.

Killjoy was already up and gone out of the scar in the earth. Suddenly Ally's face was slammed by Killjoy's foot sending Ally flying back. "You aren't winning this time..." she said as she instantly appeared behind Ally in the air "it's your turn to be broken." She said coldly as her knee drove into Ally's spine as it popped and cracked. Though she didn't have much strength, Killjoy was able to use the momentum of her overwhelming speed to create devastating strikes. "Time to start." Her voice became a bit contorted and her eyes showed what looked like faint black mist. Killjoy turned her katana around and struck Ally's face with back end of the blade, throwing her into the ground creating a crater on impact.

Killjoy rested her hand on her Katana's hilt. Her newly constructed armor glimmering red. She watched on as the great battle unfolded before hearing an all too familiar voice and soom finding the source of such fanatical screeching. Killjoy glanced at Trax with a sadistic smirk, a dark shadow flickered in her eyes "you kidding? It's been a year of non stop training. I've been dying to to get another chance, but this time...I'll be making sure that it's her body that get broken." She said coldly as she suddenly disappeared leaving the ground where she once stood cracked and charred. Burst of lightning burned through a large numbered of vampire soldiers. Instantly Killjoy reappeared only inches away from Ally's face. Killjoy put a danger on Ally's chest as lightning coursed through body, Ally shot backwards a few yards, but before she could even touch the ground Killjoy was already above slamming Ally into the dirt with a scissor kick creating a shockwave sending debris from the crater flying in all directions.

Killjoy stayed behind as she carried Luna to her bed. She slowly and carefully laid Luna down. "Well I guess you were right...the gamble paid off, now we will see where this all goes, I just hope these traits are enough." She said quietly before walking out of the room. Killjoy looked down at her hands and noticed that her body seemed to be in a constant state of vibration, she watched as the electricity flowed between her finger tips. "So...not only do I have speed, I'm able to manipulate the electricity i produce from...static?" She questioned to herself. She wondered just how long she would be able to move at such high speed. Killjoy remembered apollo's words. "Stamina huh...? Well I guess all those training excersizes paid off..."

Maelstrom glanced back at Fear, he thought for a moment "as of right now, your orders are to be on standby until further instructions are delivered to you." He said said as his aura slowly dispersed. "Shadow, it is time we start reinforcing the front lines, we will having some slight trouble from here on out, the barrier is broken for now so let's take advantage of that and see if we can make a push to gain some ground, send some silent fang to accompany our forces." Killjoy slowly opened her eyes "like a friday night hangover" she as her body shot up, her body moved from the floor to her standing in less than a blink of an eye. "Whoa..." she tried take a step back, but instantly found herself on the other end of the room. "Guys...help..." she said as she looked at arms as electricity was surging through them. "So super...speed?"

Shadow was pushed down by an overwhelming force "so none of you made it completely certain the descendants were indeed dead, only foolish assumptions...how disappointing." Maelstrom stood up "it is quite clear who this group of soldiers are a-" he instantly paused, a strong and all too familiar presence was felt. "It can't be." He said letting Shadow go from the force and quickly making his way towards a balcony looking towards Canterlot. "What are they planning?" He mumbled as he saw the large glowing aura of Nightmare Moon. A thought struck his mind are they seeking her guidance, to use her powers against us? His hands crushed the railing but quickly regained composure "I guess it's time to show who you are fooling with, as you will see Nightmare Moon, we have grown without you. I've surpassed you..." Maelstrom was instantly shrouded in a black aura that spread out engulfing the entire castle, his calm nature never changed though the presence of his wrath was clear to see for miles. "They will all learn, they will not win even with her help. I'll crush them all if I have to..."

Maelstrom paused for a moment "I suppose this does make sense then, they have been showing unusual knowledge of us and what we have to offer, though as to the traitor, it would have to be a member of the Silent fang who we believe was dead...or once dead..." he said then thinking about the group of soldiers "Shadow....tell me, in our first battle, did you confirm your target's death?" He asked as his eyes seemed to be in flames as if already knowing the answer, but just wanted the confirmation of his hunch. "Did you see the life leave his body, the last breathe...?" Luna gave a nod "as ready as I'll ever be, let's begin."

Luna nodded "I've been practicing my magic, and ive been going through focus excersizes, I am ready to bring Nightmare Moon. As of right now I just await all of you to be ready to be gifted with traits." She paused "I do hope all goes well, fate of the world rests on this one chance." Maelstrom glanced at Shadow, then Glanced at Fear by Shadow's side. His eyes returned to Shadow "I fair quite well, I hope the same for you Shadow. Though if you dont mind me asking, what is the meaning of this random meeting, I do not recall summoning either of you. Do you have information of any sort?"

((Did someone watch How Not To Summon A Demon Lord lately? Lol)) Killjoy glanced at Trax with a smirk "what if I did Colonal? Would me saying I was just experiencing an off day during our first battle be believable?" She joked. Luna rolled her eyes "she's never took a break, not even for a second. She trained during meals, time off, I even think she trained in her sleep." She said with her arms crossed. Killjoy slumped over "way to ruin it..." she said pouting. Luna smiled "well somebody has to be the modest one in this relationship." She replied. "And a bore..." Killjoy muttered under her breathe. Luna clicked her tongue at Killjoy, but quickly went back to a smile "any way, simply saying Red has improved is an understatement. As I said to her earlier, I do believe she is the fastest human alive." She said confidently.

Killjoy stood in the middle of a courtyard, she glanced at Luna who sat on the wall surrounding the courtyard "ready Red?" She asked. Killjoy modded "this will be the last one for the day." She said giving Luna a thumbs up "ok sounds good, I guess it would be time to meet up with the others." She said as she waved her hand slowly, suddenly large magical seals covered the walls. "This time, let's go full speed." Killjoy said with a smirk. Luna raised an eyebrow "I know this spell is only meant to hurt but are you sure you want them on full blast?" She asked crossing her arms. Killjoy nodded "yeah I'm sure." She replied. Luna shrugged "ok then." She said snapping her fingers. Magical spears started shooting out of the seals with extreme speed and repetition. Killjoy bobbed, weaved, ducked, spun, jumped, and rolled dodging every spear. Luna watched on seeing Killjoy become a blur amongst the magical spears "I don't know why I even hesitated, Red's handling it with ease." She said to herself as the magical barrage continued. After five minutes of continuous magic fire, Luna waved her hand again, instantly making the seals disappear. Killjoy stood in the same place of where she started, not even a scrape on her body, not a single spear touched her. Killjoy grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off her forehead and neck. Luna smiled "I do believe you are officially the fastest human alive, never has anyone without the help of magic meet the speed you just displayed. I think congratulations are in order." She said with a light clap. Killjoy smirked "well of course, did you expect any less of me?" She asked playfully. Luna shook her head and smiled "I suppose not, you ARE the Lady of Death after all. Well let's go and see what our comrades are up to." Killjoy and Luna walked to where Azure were training the others. "So what was today's excersize?" Killjoy asked sitting on a bench "lemme guess, the bell thing again?"

Killjoy scratched the back of her head "H3ll..." she said with a sigh "what I would give just to keep life how it was...where my body didn't get broken by monsters. Now we both have a long road ahead of us...I mean sh/t just looking at my ancestors' training routines just make my entire being ache, and some of them are something I could never even dream of being. It's almost like we devolved as time passed..." Luna thought for a moment "well the need for such power has also passed, it's like the creatures from long long ago, giant savage beasts...but now...merely birds that sing the songs we hear as the sun rises. The world is changing constantly, and as everything else, we must change with it, but of course the Batkin are the exception since they have lived long enough to see everything change. Though in life...there is always a balance. An overlooked concept, but it's as real as the air we breathe. The Batkin has rose up to tip that balance, and so now there must be another force to put that scale back to a normal state...balance. As it has always been. It's just now...we must be that force to bring that balance. Though...as we get stronger and destroy the Batkin threat, we then tip the balance and of course the cycle goes on." She said putting her hands together "so when you say you wish for life to be as it was, it has never changed." Killjoy nodded "hmmm, I suppose that is true, well if if we are tipping the scale, might as well stomp it down." She said with a smirk as she started to walk off. Luna smiled "you missed my point but ok bye" she said with a faint laugh.

Killjoy chuckled "well what's the fun in anything without a little risk right? Well my reasoning for getting a trait isn't for that honor and glory." She smirked "My whole reasoning Is that I merely have a score to settle, no more, no less. I will not rest that Bi-" Luna quickly covered Killjoy's mouth as her yelling was muffled, but was obvious that great profanities were being spouted as her hands waved around violently along with her foot stomping several times. Luna smiled nervously "please excuse her, the term filter isn't quite in her vocabulary just yet, once shes got something on her mind, it becomes vocal and there is just no way of preventing it." She letting out a nervous laugh.

Killjoy looked around at those who gathered around in the study, her eyes rested upon the black cat sitting on Luna's desk "ok so I guess I'll be the only one to ask, since when did we get a cat...and why are we all here?" She said rested her left hand on her hip and her right on the hilt of her Katana. Luna glanced at Killjoy "patience Red, I'm sure all the answers you seek will be answered shortly." She said softly. Killjoy rubbed the back of her head "well...ok...by who?" Maelstrom sat down on his throne "well done my brothers, you all did fine work today, I do believe you have all earned a fine night of feasting. I have had some of our workers bring back some prime cattle. Only the best for those most loyal to the cause."

Maelstra put his hand up and signaled to the silent fang members to retreat, but stil keeping his gaze on Celestia "you all go on back to the Castle. We are done here, I'll follow shortly. His eyes narrowed at Celestia "Careful not to be to quick to underestimate Sun Princess, my magic may not be as strong as yours, but i make up for it in...other attributes, and you will find that out soon enough. So dont work too hard Sun Princess...I dont want a single sign of stress on that pretty face of yours when I mount your on the wall in my throne room, same for your sister..." he said opening a portal behind him and the Silent Fang. The silent fang quickly retreated into the portal followed by Maelstrom "until next time..." Maelstrom said before the portal closed Luna sighed "well of course it wont be easy, we are talking about bringing Nightmare Moon back to help the very ones who banished her and betraying her "children"...and we dont even know if we have the power available to even keep her under control and if we don't, well you could say the Batkin now have the key to world domination....but no pressure right?" She rubbed her temples "so excuse me if I seem a little stressed over the matter, I know it's got to be done and I'm willing to go through with it...I worry more about everyone and...Red...than about myself."

"Everyone's effort is all a waste, your race will die and make way for the strong to rule this earth." Maelstrom appeared in front of his Silent Fang "you know as much as I do that your...dragons...were nothing but mere play toys to true predators, and for you Sun Princess, you will find that your kind is becoming obsolete, your magic grows weak along with your sister. Suddenly an overwhelming black aura surrounded his body, the ground cracked and buckled under his sheer presence. "We can end it right here...right now if you so wish Sun Princess...why wait?" He said 8n a calm and collective manner, but the challenge in his voice could not be any more clear.

Luna sighed "everyone needs help these days, even us." She said to herself quietly before glancing at apollo "well, if what you say is true." She picked up the pendant from the floor "then would you possibly know or know something about bringing Nightmare out without summoning her fully?" She set the pendant down on the desk "not only that but be able to help if she even wants to?"

Luna smiled "let us hope, we do need an advantage in this war, if not might, then let it be wits that turns the tide. Though shouldn't I go with you? It would be safer that way." She said as she levitated the books and stacked them in the nearby corner.

Luna glanced up to Celestia "well there is a lot to read, but yet has given so little answers." She said with a sigh before closing the book in front of her. "Though do be the utmost careful when on the front lines, it goes without say that anything can happen." She looked at Apollo "as for the...cat, I suppose I have a few questions that YOU may be able to answer that history couldn't."

Killjoy looked over Azure's scar "that's quite the badge there...wonder what was guarding my ancestors' history to give you so much trouble." She said taking the scrolls, she looked over the seals and recognized the symbol of her ancestor a thousand years ago. She quickly broke the seal as the scroll unrolled itself nearly touching the floor below. Killjoy's eyes widen "oh wow...it even details her training records, these routines make my training exercises look like child's play. Well...this would definitely be the boost im looking for." She as she grazed over the other scrolls "well looks like I got a very long road ahead of me, might as well research these all today and get this started tomorrow." ((Should Maelstrom get in on this, it would give me a chance for him to get some action and give an idea on his power.))

Killjoy was puzzled by Azure, not even a competitive remark. She raised an eyebrow "uh...ok...and this special something would be...what exactly?" She asked scratching the back of her head.

Killjoy glanced at Azure "how I feel is irrelevant...I can move, I can train, I can fight." She said putting a hand on her right shoulder as she rolled her arm, she smirked "plus I can't sit idle while a brat like you is ahead of me, no way no how. So dont get comfortable kid, I'll be putting you back on your @ss into the dirt like the good old days before you even know it. It's nothing personal but I got a score to settle."
