Unique Traits: Easily startled, owns his own pharmacy 'Medical Mixtures' despises most, if not all, forms of potatoes, carries a self made First aid Kit with several potions he made where ever he goes. History: He came from a small, only two generations old farming/fishing town in Solstice Heights. Having his mother as the town's doctor, he grew up surrounded and fascinated by things involving medicine. He received his Cutie Mark when he mother fell under a local sickness, with the condition of the mother worsening, he found the book containing the way to make the recently out of stock cure. Under the instruction he managed to make the cure, and rushed to apply it. He discovered that he had his cutie mark after his recovering mother pointed it out the next day. From then on he studied under his mother and helped around town. When he became old enough to go to medical school, on his birthday present was a sack of bits, a ticket to Canterlot, a recommendation to Canterlot Medical School, and an application to said school. With a tearful goodbye, He left for Canterlot, applied to but was declined. Not taking that lying down, he did several odd jobs around Canterlot to make enough money, and studying to improve his entrance exam scores in his spare time.After a year straight of this, he applied and was tested again and from his hard work he was finally given a letter of acceptance. Balancing studying, his job, and living on his own, he was constantly busy. Though with his hard work, he managed to graduate, and make enough money to buy and set up his own shop on a decent side of the market district. Just last week he finally opened 'Medical Mixtures'. Character Summary: Mortar n' Pestle is a pony that prefers using his head to make up for his lacking in strength, though his memory tends to be scattered at different times. He reacts quickly and precisely under pressure, but when not under pressure, he is relaxed and slightly a procrastinator. When around others he acts slightly energetic, but with his raising he tends to be 'uncivil' or 'ill- mannered' not meaning to. No matter what your race is he tends to be tolerant until you do something to deliberately aggravated. When angered, he bottles it up, and says nothing until away from the being that is aggravating and with friends to confirm that they were doing that deliberately. He deals with stress, and/or sadness by relaxing at his shop going over medicines and making new doses, meeting up with friends, or by just trotting around the city. If it comes down to it he just sleeps, a day or two away. When annoyed by friends, he lets them know what they did and playfully slugs them. If pushed to the point of fighting, he would only do it in self defense. When he does he doesn't use any weapons, he strikes the body's weaknesses that he learned about in his medical training, to either disable or cause pain to distract.
