1. "Well Daddy and Mommy used to work long hours teaching at the Manehattan Institute of Tradesponyship. Usually my brothers would take turns foalsitting me. At least when Daddy retired to open up his bookstore I could go there to read and we could keep each other company."

"If Uncle Jazz Brass wasn't on tour I was always welcome to visit. He's our next door neighbour". If Daddy was away on business or I didn't feel like going to the store I could always stop by and watch Uncle Jazz practice."

Telki's mind had begun to wonder if she was going off on a irrelevant tangent. She could vaguely remember reading somewhere that as a counselor Heart Healer was supposed to ask about her family and her parents, but she didn't think those were really a problem. Her parents did love and make time for her afterall, they were just...busy the rest of the time.

  2. The enforcer can dispose of anyone rather quickly. If you are an a stairwell you could do a stair stab. And I've found most pyros have terrible aim with the flare gun

idk where you're playing but I know a lot of people with crazy accuracy with that!

I've never been able to get past the part where it says "Connection failed after 4 retries."

Also whenever I try the new Halloween event map with Merasmus, everyone seems to ignore the boss and focus on killing each other.

    change server :P

  3. Seems interesting, I'll throw my hat into the fray as Cheerilee

Cheerilee sighed; the day had been draining for her. She had barely had the time to mark the previous day's homework and prepare for the next day's class. But she had somehow managed to get it all done, and was looking forward to the party for the chance to relax and unwind.

Tired as she was, she still tried to maintain her trademark perkiness. Making her way to the punch bowl, she helped herself to a cup and seemingly re-engerized by the sugar rush, she cast a glance towards the crowd, ready for some fun!

if I'm chosen as the murderer I get to be the Cheerilee from Cheerilee's Garden heh heh <evil grin>

  4. Wellp, pretty much stuck in a dead-in-the-water status as it were, so rather than torture myself by showing up every day pointlessly, I'm just gonna leave indefinitely, until I get an email prompting me whenever my Roleplay finally gets a response to.

    Until then, I guess.

well i guess it was only a matter of time.

    Peace out man!

  5. Lightwind's stroll had been uneventful, broken only by the sound of his hooves crunching dead leaves and the sound of the creatures of the night.

Finally the monotony was broken by the sound of running water, and Lightwind found that there was a small stream intersecting the path.

Squinting in the darkness, he prepared to make a short hop across the stream and resume his journey, only for there to be a slight shift in the darkness, just before...

    "HELLLOOOOOO EVERYPONY!"

Lightwind knew he was probably expected to be scared; why else could a sea serpent put on such a gaudy outfit and yell out of the blue? Clearly meant to scare.....but somehow the way that it was said, coupled with the sea serpent's voice, just made it seem.....hilarious?

Lightwind looked up and pondered for a second, hoping his goggles would hide the indecision in his eyes. "What would his teammates do?" Then seemingly deciding on his course of action, he flew up till he was eye level to the serpent and then replied in the most gravely voice he could muster.

"Uh-HA! Nice try! Totally not scared! Um-TOTALLY!" making up this bravado was harder than he thought

  6. "Well...I wasn't the most popular filly in my class" Telki began "Sure everypony was friendly towards me during class. Maybe its because I was the smallest, but most of the other foals didn't really invite me to join in their games after class. At least there was Daddy's bookstore to pass the afternoons...."

Turning to glance at her cutie mark, Telki sighed. Time to rehash those painful memories.

"Well there was this time they invited me to help decorate the school gym....." Telki's voice choked as she stopped adruptly. Not daring to continue should the memories overwhelm her.

  7. Might as well take the opportunity to test run my character before I app him ;)

    Character Name: Storm Hammer

    Race/Species: Alicorn

Physical Description: Slighter taller and slimmer than average. Dark green pelt with dark blue mane (same shade as Princess Luna). His cutie mark is a Green ray of light shining through a bunch of clouds (kinda like those spotlights from heaven you see in movies, but green).

Power/Skill: In addition to standard pegasus flight, Storm Hammer's horn is capable of generating bolts of concussive force of varying degrees of which he can control. In addition his horn is capable of generating hard light constructs.

    Weapon of Choice: None

Background (Before the Sunburst): Storm Hammer was the unassuming son of a Pegasus father and a Unicorn mother. All he knew was that he went to nap one afternoon in between Weather Control shifts and and woke up with a horn and his cutie mark of a bunch of clouds now seemed to emanate a greenish light, which he assumed was a result of the Sunburst and his unicorn heritage. While he couldn't get his horn to spellcast, he realized that he was somehow able to quickly come to grips with his newfound ability....it felt almost natural....

Personality: Storm Hammer's quiet and reserved nature hides a razor sharp mind. While he's not the most powerful of his teammates, he makes up for it with his sheer versatility. Unfortunately his inability to assert himself usually gets him bossed around

  8. Telki had to make that trip back to Ponyville, she had heard much about the elaborate Nightmare Night celebrations there and was just dying to check it out. No matter that the ponies in Ponyville treated this as a community event (and therefore would not pay her for her services), nor that she had arrived too late to aid in the effort anyway.

Arriving in Ponyville, she quickly realized that she nether had a costume nor the bits to spare to purchase one, and even if the did, the shops would be closed this night anyway.

Luckily for her, she realized that her traveling cloak, used in this context, gave her a somewhat air of mystery. Also, whimsically she found out that if she focused just enough, she could make her eyes glow, the same eye glow that occurred as a by product of when she was using her telekinesis, but this time without actually needing to carry anything.

Choosing the most convenient and creepiest place to explore first she sauntered into the Haunted House. But not before reminding herself ""Nerves of steel, Telki, nerves of steel"

Sauntering carefreely throughout the house, she divided her time equally between admiring the attention to detail, flinching slightly, then responding with a wink when jumped by ponies in skeleton costumes; and raising her head slowly and making her eyes glow menacingly that one time she spotted a pony in a witch costume hiding clumsily behind a bush, neatly turning the tables on her would be scarer.

Going further in she heard a shriek, followed by a wail and grinned. The house was having a better effect on another pony!

"Maybe that pony will run into me..." she thought whimsically. "It'll be fun to pull an additional prank"

  9. He would be lying if he said that he was doing this for fun; but then again after all when you've been living in the Everfree for about a year and somepony organizes something literally at your doorstep, it'll be foolish not to check it out...right?

Lightwind has spend the majority of the day trying to give himself excuses not to go out for that day, after all it's Nightmare Night and there would be a high propensity for ponies to be out in force on the streets. The first excuse was of course that he had nothing to wear, but he quickly realized that not only would his Shadowbolt costume double up as a Nightmare Night costume, he had the perfect excuse, being that nopony really knew who he was, to roleplay....as himself.

Like a bat in the night, he flew silently towards the castle.

Landing at the start of the pathway, he noticed the illuminated path, lighting the way to the castle, and true to form, took a sidestep and half flitted, half trotted on the gravel and grass beside the path.
