Desktop Developers...

I saw a thread for Web Developers, but none for the faithful desktop developers!

So... I made this. I personally am fluent in C# and VB.net, and I am in the process of learning Java at university.

What about the denizens of Canterlot?

Desktop Developer? as in 'programmer'? :?:

The old term defines us more ain't it? As a kid I was the block's geek , in 1988 with only 5, instead of a Sinclair spectrum or a commodore I had an IBM 5150 (128 KB RAM, and 320KB floppy drive) plus cassette deck and TV out... On it I learnt BASIC, FORTRAN, PASCAL, and some 8080/88 assembler... was a decent machine back then, and I remember hacking XT/286 games to run on my 8 BIT CPU (ex. 'King's Valley 4' required a 286, but some dis-assembly re compling made miracles, but Still had to update to 256KB of RAM)
