I think it was be a handy feature, especially for those who are on the move often and can't sit at a computer screen for some reason. (this will work for any phone that requires input via touch rather than buttons)Click the 'use full version' at the bottom of the mobile theme or set your tablet/phone's browser settings to request desktop version of websites rather than mobile version.All features confirmed working on Android (chrome) and Windows Phone 8.
