Text Reader - a fun little chrome app

Just a fun little thing I discovered recently while trying to find a way to read pony fics AND play games at the same time:

Its an app called SpeakIt - it makes an icon up where you should have your AdBlock icon, and you just highlight text on a page, click the SpeakIt icon and it... speaks it.

Makes for wonderful story-reading, even if it does fumble a little on some ponyfied terms and whatnot, but that's par for the course for text-to-speech programs. You can fiddle around with its settings to change its voice and whatnot.

I just find it really handy for when putting on a good story and listening to it while playing Planetside2 or drawing.
