Having received his card from his parents already, he had pocketed the bits they had been so kind to give him. He bounded towards the only building in Ponyville that would do for such a momentous occasion, SugarCube Corner. He wanted to get Pinkie's help in making it oh so delicious and fun! He still remembered how awesome his previous visits had been, omelet cookies and all! He wanted all those ponies to come to his birthday too! "Yes! I hope she can make it amazing!", he exclaimed as he pushed through the doors to the shop.As he entered, he was assaulted by the scents of sweets being baked or out on display. He licked his lips and smiled warmly, his metallic gold frame shivering with barely contained excitement. "Pinkie Pie! You here? My birthday is going to be here soon!", he blurted out excitedly, staring at all the sweets hungrily, but he needed to use the bits he had been given to get an awesome cake for himself.
