Attack on Titan: Unexpected Answer.

This takes place in the near future, like when they finally get to Erin's dad's basement, the story takes on from there. This is in an alternate universe where the ending is different.

Titans have driven ponykind to near extinction and has slowly been dwindling the numbers for 100 years. until ponykind found out that certain ponies can form into titans. This gave ponies hope, hope that cowering in fear was about to end. Also it was known that Erin's father had studied titans and might have an answer. The journey was long and dangerous, many ponies died, but in the end, they found the basement, they scrounged around for what seemed like hours until one pony stumbled upon pieces of paper that looked like blue prints. Though the answer to the titan problem was not even close to what they had expected. It was not a chemical or solution...but a weapon. Large iron Golems that can be put together with magic and machines. These Golems were to be made and take on the titans head on, though due to complications, the Golems had to be piloted by ponies to keep everything stable. These new machines were named Iron Clads, each Iron Clad was made to fit each pilot's conditions. Sadly only four Iron Clads were made when the titans breached the wall and overran the city with the factory in it. The four remaining Iron Clads are kept behind the rebuilt wall of Trost in a fortified facility. The Iron Clads were frequently sent out on titan hunts to keep the numbers outside the walls controlled, but all that is about to end.
