Name: Sorrowed Gaze

Eye colour: Lavender Blue with a tint of Cool Grey towards the center of the pupil

Character colour: Light Grey with an almost streak like vein of ruby red that runs down the sides of his body and up his neck, stopping right at the base of his eyes. His fur is a bit glossy but mostly dull.

Mane/Tail/Other: His mane is similar to his eyes, Lavender Blue with the ends slowly becoming a cool grey but there is four dark blue streaks, two on each side, that start from the top of his head. His tall is much the same but instead of four dark blue streaks, they are the ruby red streaks that went along his body. Sorrowed’s mane is neck long, covering both sides of his face in hiding his eyes from others’ sight. His tail is much the same to the point it drags a little bit on the ground.

Physique: Skinny with some muscle, he looks pretty malnourished in comparison to other stallions his age.

Residence: One story house at the edge of Ponyville.

Occupation: Part time Accountant to only pay the bills but in the free time he goes to find lost books and ancient texts.

Cutie Mark: A golden eye of Horus with a symbol of Anubis that crosses through the eye. On the other side is a staff with an Ankh on the top.

Unique Traits: Attributed the ancient world, he loves to study any old world texts he can get his hands on but that is hardly his powers or special trait. His special trait is tied to the very power of death itself. Not entirely the power of death but more along the idea of sapping life. Summoning locusts to eat away everything in front but it will only hurt if he directs them to do so. Another of his powers is to summon mummifying wraps from his horn and try to wrap any pony that tries to harm him. The last major power he has is an obelisk that appears in front of him that makes sand slowly shift towards it. Drawing others inside.

History: Sorrowed got his cutie mark when he was teen-colt after his mother had passed away. In the library of Ponyville he learned about an ancient book that contained some interesting information about the creation of the Princesses’ castle. Heading out into the mountains he found a cave where the book was said to be seen last. There in the bleak opening on top of bitter cold mountains is where Sorrowed ventured straight into the maw of death itself without him even knowing it. Deep inside Diamond dogs guarded their horde to which the lamented Sorrowed fell naively into their clutches. Sorrowed was left to his own devices, either to surrender or fight these Dogs. Taking the latter over being put through Celestia knows what. His horn glowed lightly in the bleakness of the situation as wraps encompassed his aggressors. Distracting them long enough for him to retrieve the book and run from the Diamond Dogs. He carried the book back to his home with is cutie mark on his flank.

Character Personality: As strange as he looks there is points that cause him to show off his love of cultures long ago but when it comes to discussing things about himself or about his magic there he will try to avoid speaking about himself. He isn’t proud of his powers but he is afraid that it will scare them away; it is uncommon to have powers like he does. Other than himself, he loves to interact with others as long as they aren’t too rowdy.

Character Summary: Sorrowed Gaze, medium aged stallion with great interest in the old world with a fear to scare away possible friends because of his powers. He goes out of his way to find old world texts and books.
