Origin: 
As I said, he comes from Canterlot High, where he was the lead in almost everything the drama club produced. However, while walking down campus, he accidentally tripped over a random Mexican and fell into the portal. He then lived his life normally, somehow bringing his house into Equestria, and has been in a relationship with Jack Broadband since he was 13.
