Expanded-Canon Species List

Will there be a separate thread listing all new species allowed as part of board canon?  All I'm so far seeing is the merger of CC species and giraffes.

In the absence of finalized documentation about the approved extended-canon species, here are the provisional guidelines to follow:

 

A canon-extended species must be a concept that a fan who's only ever watched the show can understand without further lore explanation, like giraffes or camels. If a player cannot immediately use common-sense (or Wikipedia) to figure out the likely attributes, abilities, and limitations of a species, they cannot be considered permissible for play.
