Overclock is an Earth pony with a battleship gray coat, a reddish-brown mane tied in a tail, and blue eyes. His cutie mark is a clock with a lightning bolt through it. He wears a time travel device (known as a time hopper) hidden as a leather bracelet on his right hoof. He also wears a brown detective's coat and white button-down shirt. He keeps his husband Hyjaax’s wedding band on a chain around his neck.

Personality/Abilities/Traits:

Overclock has a fascination with Equestria’s history and future, and he loves time travel. He is well-read, intelligent, and charismatic, but he's short-tempered and often swears.

Overclock has a high concentration of magic in his blood, higher than most unicorns, let alone Earth ponies. This gives him the ability to detect magical presences. His 41st century biology makes him flexible in terms of sexuality, and natural hormones produced by his body make him smells nice to all genders and species. He has an abnormally high amount of alicorn DNA in him, granting him longevity far beyond that of a normal pony (his natural lifespan is estimated to be around 500 years), two hearts, incredible stamina and reflexes, and the ability to use the Royal Canterlot Voice.

Bio:

Overclock was born in EY 4039 to a wealthy family, and he is the grandchild of Twilight Sparkle. Overclock was very interested in Equestrian history and future, hoping to see it first-hoof. He was chosen at age seven to be sent a day into the future as part of a study to test the effects of time travel on prepubescent foals. The test went off without a hitch, and Overclock became fixated on the concept of time travel, which gained him his cutie mark.

In his late teenage years, Overclock developed a relationship with a dragon named Hyjaax. When Overclock turned twenty, the two married. However, during the Dragon Civil Wars of 4062, Hyjaax was killed. Overclock found Hyjaax’s wedding band and wore it as a necklace in remembrance. He found himself unable to move on from Hyjaax’s death, so he stole a portable time travel device and started his journey through Equestria’s history in order to escape his past.
