Bolted Tinker

Name: Bolted Tinker, his name was originally Flawless Amethyst, given to him by his mother Rarity for his bright red eyes., after he began to take a different path than she expected, she suggested(good humored) that he change it. So he did.
Gender: Male
Age: Very young Stallion, teenage.
Species: Unicorn(Ref isn't accurate!)
Eye colour: Bright blue, incredibly alert and bright with curiosity.
Character colour: Pale cream with white spots, his base coloration came more from his grandfather's side of the family, but the stark white of his mother and father show through in his stark white spots.
Mane/Tail/Other: His mane is a muted purple up-swept style, very well kept, with pinkish striping throughout. 
Physique: An average build but not scrawny, he isn't as bulked up as some of the stallions, but he manages.
Residence: Ponyville
Occupation: He is a tinkerer and alchemist in his spare time, but works at a coffee shop as a source of bits. He dreams of becoming a world famous inventor.
Cutie Mark: A bubbling beaker of some unknown fluid. His story is quite amusing, his cutie mark appeared when he was attempting to mix a concoction. His calculations in the mixture were very off kilter, and it ended up exploding right in his face. His mother was horrified, but Bolt was exhilarated, even more so when he discovered that his mishap had sparked his cutie mark. A love for alchemy and inventing.
Unique Traits: He fancies himself an inventor, and an alchemist, his mixtures and trinkets aren't perfect and many of them blow up in his face, but he never stops trying.
History: It was quite a surprise when Fancy Pants asked for Rarity's hoof in marriage, enamored with the young mare after his former relationship went sour. The details weren't important to the fashionista, she cared a lot for the kind Gentlecolt, there was no hesitation in her acceptance of his proposal. No one though Rarity would be one for motherhood, being health and fashion conscious as she was, but she embraced the idea and even found inspiration to create a line of dazzling dresses for expecting mothers. Bolt's birth went very smoothly, no mare could have asked for an easier process, and both Rarity and Fancy were more than glowing with joy. 

Rarity wanted more than anything for her child to follow her footsteps, but when he began to show his love for science she never once tried to force him away from it. He grew into a confident young stallion because of his mother's support, but he would be lying if he said he didn't indulge in some fashion trends, and most of the dapper vests and clothes he wears is made by his mother.
Character Personality: Confident, very quirky, eccentric, Bolt is a pony who is always on the go, always flitting from topic to topic and project to project, he has a compulsive need to be moving almost always and never seems to slow down. He had a very brilliant mind, but often lacks the focus to put his clever ideas into action, he is a thinker, but often thinks TOO much. He is good at coming up with ways out of sticky situations on the spot, though not all of his schemes work, and he tends to be very imaginative in the way he handles things. He is an infinitely empathetic pony as well, feeling strongly for the feelings and needs of others, and if he can help you, he will. A lot of his kindness was picked up from his mother's teachings, and though he can be a tad excitable and boisterous at times, he is a good pony at heart. Bolt tends to be very dramatic and expressive in the way he speaks and gestures, and his manner of speaking is more than a little odd at times, there have been ponies who have thought him mad, but he's perfectly sane, he is just a bit...Unique.
Character Summary: Bolt is an eccentric inventor who loves nothing more than making friends and creating strange and extraordinary devices, they may not be the most funtional yet, but he is confident in his abilities to perfect all of his ideas, if he can keep them straight in his head, that is.

NOTE: He's a next gen meant for a specific RP but I wouldn't be opposed to using him outside of it!
