Silverbolt's Delivery Service! (Closed, Post in OOC Thread for Entry)

The day started out much like any other for the Pegasus named Silverbolt. He yawned and stretched as the sound of a ringing alarm clock pierced his sleep deafened ears. He shook his head and placed a hoof over the button and silenced the alarm clock. This was no time to snooze! He had some work to do! He hopped out of bed and quickly glanced at his calendar and winced, he was overdue to deliver quite a bit of goods! That broken wing had set him far behind in his duties! "I better hop to it! It's time to shower!", he exclaimed as he quickly trotted into the bathroom of his cloud home. He pulled the curtain open and stepped in before pulling the curtain closed behind him.

He stood under the refreshing water as he soaped up and got himself cleaned up for the day ahead. He sung softly as his drab cobalt coat began to regain its sheen. The water running down the drain darkened before clearing up once more, signalling that he was now finished. He stepped out and quickly dried off before rushing out to grab his goggles. He affixed them over his eyes and trotted towards his little kitchen. He couldn't start making his deliveries without a hearty breakfast in him! He quickly polished off a bowl of oats and apples before dressing in his uniform and affixing the courier bags to his haunches.

He stepped out the door of his Cloudsdale home and took flight towards the warehouse. He soared across the sky with great haste as the sun rose over the bustling sky city. With a soft thump he landed and reported for work. "Hey! It's good to be back!", he said in greeting to his colleagues as he grabbed the manifest for his cart. "Hmm... Let's check the list.", he muttered to himself as he scanned the sheet of paper. They had him going from Stalliongrad to Ponyville and everywhere in between! "I guess this is what happens when you go on an involuntary vacation...", he added with an audible sigh and a slight frown. He liked the work but when things were like this, the inherent challenges of being a courier pony became rather apparent. "No time like the present!", he said aloud with his frown making way for his trademark smile as he grabbed the cart and set off for the first delivery on his list, some potion ingredients for a Miss Autumn Lily.
