She doesn't like to stay in a place too long which might be selfish considering she has a daughter named Barbets. But she has a reason for traveling Equestria so much - she's a treasure hunter! She's convinced she will strike it rich and her and Barbets will have it easy for the rest of their lives. But will that ever happen?Cardinal is mysterious, bitter and rude to any pony that crosses her path. But she's not that different toward other griffins. She's viciously protective of Barbets, maybe even over protective. She has banned her from learning magic and from making pony or pony hybrid friends.
