((Hey everypony! I am finally back after so long time absenting from this lovely forum. So as for a warm up, I created my first roleplay thread :) ))

Harsh winds those were hitting the beach right now. The foam from the waves could be felt in any pony that crossed the warm sand, all of that because the sea seemed to want some more tender cares from the sand that remained on safe land. The gentle markings of the arriving waves could be seen close to the few shells that had been brought to the beach, and would be broken by any passing by pony that wouldn't care so much about them.

But what was also charming the equestrian sea was something else... An elegant pink equine had been resting over top of a rock, that stayed right between the shore and the deep sea. She could be seen from the beach, even the slightest details of her. But there was something different about this... pony. Her front half showed clearly a pair of legs and even hooves, but her back was composed by a long tail that ended up with a pair of fins. That being was called a hippocampus, and they were said to charm earthlings and all the innocent ones that did not know the secrets of the equestrian seas.

Her name was Pearl Wishes. Her long purple mane blew freely in the sea breeze, while she played with her pearl necklace and sang a beautiful long ong that echoed all over the beach And maybe who knew, she was waiting for somepony?

Upon one summer's morning, I carefully did stray

Down by the Walls of Seasaddle Bay, where I met a sailor gay,

Conversing with a bouncing lass, who seem'd to be in pain

Saying, Blueblood, when you go, I fear you will ne'er return again.

His hair it does in ringlets hang, his eyes as black as soles,

My happiness attend him wherever he goes,

From Hoofington, down to Canterlot, I will wander, weep and moan,

All for my jolly sailor bold, until he does return.

My father is a merchant — the truth I will now tell

And in great Gallopoccus Island in opulence doth dwell

His fortune doth exceed ₤300,000 in gold

And he frowns upon his daughter, 'cause she loves a sailor bold

A fig for his riches, his merchandize, and gold,

True love is grafted in my heart; give me my sailor bold:

Should he return in poverty, from o’er the ocean far,

To my tender bosom, I’ll fondly press my jolly tar.

My sailor is as smiling as the pleasant month of May,

And oft we have wandered through Ratcliffe Highway,

Where many a pretty blooming girl we happy did behold,

Reclining on the bosom of her jolly sailor bold.

Come all you pretty fair maids, whoever you may be

Who love a jolly sailor bold that ploughs the raging sea,

While up aloft, in storm or gale, from me his absence mourn,

And firmly pray, arrive the day, he home will safe return.

My name it is Pearl Wishes, a merchant's daughter fair,

And I have left my parents and three thousand pounds a year,

My heart is pierced by Cupid, I disdain all glittering gold

There is nothing can console me but my jolly sailor bold.
