Character Summary: Clockwork Copper is an unusual pegasus. Every pony grew up with magic to some degree. He felt... so out of place in the world, even as a colt. Once he became a young stallion, a request was made to the Princess to take part in a exchange program with the griffin cities. Everything changed that day. All the metal and mechanics around him piqued his thirst for knowledge, the same day he arrived in one of the griffin towns. Ever since, he's trained himself in the arts of technology, a rare feat for a pony, let alone a stallion. This rare feat has won him some respect of the griffin race, but the amount of time has taken a toll on him mentally. After all, learning everything about griffin society and steam punk tech has left him little room for social interaction subroutines outside of the little griffin interaction he's had. He does seem to fit right into the griffin society, though, for being a jerk to everyone around him, even if it is a facade to prevent being taken advantage of. Sadly this sometimes backfires on him, as he can't tell the difference when someone is legitimately trying to help or not.

You might be interested in this thread, where we're brainstorming some of the background for the griffin lands.

Just as an aside, Griffin technology is dirty, noisy and crude compared to what most people envision when they think technology. Their technological level is more compound steam engines and blast furnaces than computers and electronics.

Thank you Fidley! :D Glad to see others promoting discussion and concepts!

And this looks really good, like Fidley said the technology is still very crude and messy steam-work like things to keep in mind. Other than that I approve!
