Best first episodes for bronifying friends?

So does anyone think The Last Roundup is good or is that just one of those that's perfect to someone who's already a fan and not so much a good first episode? I think Pinkie's humor was perfect and the opening, even if it was primarily fanservice, would be funny whether you already knew Derpy's origin or not. I'm seriously considering showing it to my roommate. Thoughts?

Mmm I'd say it's okay, with reservations. The episode assumes you know a lot of the character dynamics between the cast already, and the inclusion of Derpy at the start won't really mean anything to someone who doesn't know who she is. I suppose it would be good since if I was viewing it for the first time, it would make me curious about the characters and wanting to know more about them.

My personal favorite infection material is Applebuck Season. Hooks them every time.

For a short clip, I like the portion of Lesson Zero starting with "Time is Ticking, Twilight" up through the end of the CMC trying to avoid taking the doll, assuming I'm dealing with a "MLP, that's a stupid show for little girls" type person.
