Libertina writes stuff.

I occasionally am pushed to pick up the pen and make something that could be considered artistic if you have really bad eyesight and forgot your glasses when you was looking it.

Sad thing is, I do it regardless of whether it's good or not, for my own amusement.

Occasionally some stuff that has gore, death events and blood.

These are safe, and are spoilered for length mainly. Mainly.

Like it or not, here they be, input is appreciated.

Usually Sci-Fi, sometimes poni.

Almost always short-stories or bad poetry.

Silence.

It came from a clear sky, revealing almost nothing as it burned it's way towards ground until the very last second as aerobrakes cause near explosion in mid-air.

Inverse sonic boom bellows a thick cloud of dust.

Piece of machinery is ripped in apart by the impact and ricochets around in surrounding masonry.

Heat makes the cool air reverberate.

A figure moves, almost human in it's proportions.

Dust is blown out at gale force from ground zero.

A dark armored figure rises up.

Sliver of dark matter forms from figures forearm and flows to form a dangerous looking weapon near instantly.

Multitude of plates and solid looking matter reform eerily quietly into other forms.

Wings made of near transparent matter extend and harden into a halo.

They light up and start to shine hellishly on side facing to the ground, soon reducing into a barely noticeable blue glow.

Figure rises into air.

Row of lights turn on the conical, edged helm of the figure one by one and then darken again.

Faster than the eye can follow, the figure darts in one of the the dark alleyways around it, leaving a dimming hum at it's wake.

It is searching for something, slowing down just barely noticeably at crossways and making near impossible turns as it follows some intangible clues trough the catacombs of this dead town.

Soon it has mapped all the ways and by-ways.

It pauses at dead center of town and appears to glance upwards.

Moment of silence before it moves again.

This time with more purpose, moving slowly towards the edge of town.

Once or twice it pauses and appears to look at something more closely, a lamp post, a trash bin.

Near the edge of town it suddenly halts completely, as if startled by something.

It peers into an empty store front for a long while.

Pair of ears extend out of it's helmet.

Split second and it is ripping through the store front with arms and wings that mould into an extra pair of manipulators.

Soon it is hovering over something that could be called a tin can, buried beneath foots of refuse and gathered sand.

Tip of it's head opens, revealing suite of sensors, optical instruments and antennas.

Minutes pass as it analyses it's treasure.

After what seems like ages it stands up and flips with almost a human gesture the tin can away.

Whatever it was looking was not there after all.

Soon the machine is resuming it's patrol, glancing few things there, few here.

Eventually it finds itself on the edge of town.

It glances towards the sky.

Matter flows around it into yet again new forms as it moulds its body.

Wings start to glow brighter and the figure rises higher.

Soon the wings fold away and massive fire bloom hurtles the mysterious figure towards the sky.

Silence settles over the dust filled alleys once again.

And wind continues to blow as it always has, eroding the masonry into it's own pieces of art.

Far above the sky a mile long vessel peers to the planet below.

Soon it is gone, lighting up the night sky briefly on the planet below as it's engines hurtle it away from the planet at unimaginable speeds.

She looks at the sky from the top of the tallest building in this dead town, after images of the Seeker vessels engines burning in her retinas and even greater rage in her heart.

He still comes for her.

Promises long forgotten are remembered.

Things aeons past are now fresh again in her mind.

Burning their way right into her soul.

Treachery, lies, deceit, murder.

These she understands and expects.

Not the deed that was done.

She remembers it again and questions her decision to leave, to hide.

Once it was about protecting those alive.

She looks at all the stars.

No more will she stay her blade nor suffer the deed done.

"War cometh, woe upon ye nations. I cometh."

Clear and crisp her melodic voice cuts the clear and cold air.

Contempt and fury in her face she turns her back to the sky.

Gallows Feed.

What are we, gallows feed.

What is this, hollow feeling.

Offers me but, feelings lost.

Death of lost, dreams future.

-

Dream dead before, realization fulfilled.

Skies un reached, our part.

Fire to sky, no more.

-

Did we think, the cost.

Passing she comes, stagnation pale.

This was destined, all is.

-

Reality i must, bend broken.

Will against physics, losing fight.

Never yield against, that is.

-

Sons of Wolves, scream sentience.

Daughters of Earth, make be.

Sky it calls, answer it.
