In the mist of the mind, in the road of life we meet a volly of mistakes, emotions and pain that we must all swim through to hope to live any idea of a happy life or at least...maintain an illusion to ourselves that our lives are happy. In the end, we must look back at the stains we leave on the stones behind us, like a wedding gown with its fabric slipping across metres from our back it is inveitable that its pure white texture will become tainted in whatever way possible.

It slides after us, constantly following us even if we never look back to acknowledge its existence, even if it never approaches us the fact is that like a shadow all the deeds of one past are looking at us, like a stalker admiring our most subtle movements.

This is for WInter Iris.

This is a place for her mistakes, mistakes that she must not ignore but must face head on. The question is, will this cure her and grant a resolve to this all...will she be able to finally release these chains on her back and lay these demons to rest or....

will it cost her.

Her hopes?

Her sanity?

....Her life?

(Pretty much we are doing an RP where Winter Iris is in a grimdark universe where she is trapped in a pyscholical prison where various manifestation of her thought, emotions and deeds)

Tense: The tense is a lumbering creature that appear in multitude at various areas, while slow and rather weak in terms of attack they serve as good subjects for simply looming over the average size spaces they inhabit and making obstacles of the area that Iris will try to navigate. The beings legs are constnatly shaking as if in crippling pain or in a state of sickness and physical stress. With no real eyes, ears or mouth how it breathes or sense things around it is a mystery but what ever does sense things for it is clearly poor as it will not notice anything until at least a good couple of feet nears its area.

Symbolism: The tense is a throw back to Iris's isolation. Its large size and constantly looming manner is the sense of inclosed space that haunts her and its fashion of a lumbering approach is slow, like the feeling that will inveitably come when she must think of the reasons as to why she is staying in such a close space. Eventually the beast applies pressure with tackles and sheer size to do damage which is to symoblize the sense of burden and mental suffocation that must endure by physically denying herself the joys and neccesary pleasures of life one needs to be healthy be leaving the outside world and socialization in some cases. Its pony like features and large size also indicate to her parents constantly looking down at her with disapproval and pity for wasting her years trapped in voluntary isolation, As part there pressure for her to change also added to the stress and thus there attempts to help her are also interpreted at a young age as futher tools to apply more stress and less space to think or be left alone. The creatures are also covered in unpleasent sickly features such as boils, tumors and withering skin with a greasy complexion which in turn represents are innate sense of hatred for her own origin and by extent although mostly not realized, a innate hatred for her parents being what they are and birthing her the way she is, the being also hold a reflective material on their cheast as they remind her by simply being there of what she is as well and there un-aware approachs smother her in that fact-another matter of there tackle attacks-Tenses attack whenever they manage to sense something and even if they can't keep up will still continue to pursue the target, even after she is far from their sight although luckily they cannot open doors which is once again a metaphor for her wingless, magicless body locking certain paths in her life that different breeds have enjoyed as a birth right. The legs constantly trembling also represent lack of stability which is more of a reflection of herself that her parents that she gained in the future.

Mute: The mute is a small creature, even being smaller than Winter Iris her self although this is most likely due to the fact of their constantly hunching and almost painful sense of crumbling or attempting to as they walk or even run in all their movements and routines. The creatures frame is tiny and as such is highly noticable in their lack of endurance compaired to the Tense although to make up for this despite their crippled and famine like frames are fast, able to jog at a decent pace and actually chase although not overly effectively afteir target. The target lacks any eyes despite having eye sockets but the most dangerous thing about the Mute is that they actually have a form of attack unlike the lumbering tense that simply throws itself about. The mute has either a bent, slided or pointing blade attached to its throat although despite being lethal the Mute will only focus at attack at a ponies heals constnatly before going in for the kill.

SYMBOLISM: The mute is small, much smaller than the average pony even if it was healthy one could assume that the creature would be a few inches under a normal mare and especially a stallion, this is indication of child hood and teenage hood in which Winter Iris was strongly ruled by her emotions and as such the creatures eyes are missing and covered by a series of melting flesh to look like tears, this represent her sense of self pity and jealousy which had blinded her of making the best of life as a small child although despite this the Mute can see rather well and will lock gazes at its target before attacking which in turn also points to her hatred despite blinding her in general has not stopped her one tracked gaze on its future victim. The mutes mouth is jammed and melted with a blade in it, this is a metaphor for Winter Iris choice for isolation for her fear of her using her words as a weapon against those who don't deserve it and since her anger and jealous is that guides her is only filled with words meant to offend and nothing more, because of this holding all these feelings in has choked her expressively and the mute represent with its attack the intense urge it has to let loose those feelings, on top of this because it focus at a target feet and then goes for a kiling blow is a take on silver tongue being used to tear people down and cripple them emotionally with snide comments or leaks of her feelings in the past. Its crippled frame, weak and almost pathetic body is also a throw back to her sense of being weak as an earth pony, these creatures carry the same sense of trembling and look down when not aggressively choosing a target to attack which is also an show of her past depression and inability to look forward in life. The mute may also count as her nagging doubts, despite representing her view of being weak for her earth pony origin they are faster than most manifestations and deadily to macth, also their tendency to go in for nips at the heels and not out right attacks means that they symbolize nagging doubts and revisitng fears of being worthless that will continue to dog her violently externally for what she is and for what she may be able to do and not do. The mute has bandage limbs which are painfully connecting its flesh to metal boltied imitating hooves which seem to be painful as they are normally smeared or dripping blood which stands to present her painful strides that Iris had taken to resist her parents ideals and guidance. The fammine aspect also is Iris act of starving herself of sunlight and socializations with other thanks to her mouth inability to give and take anything more than jealously or self pity.

LITTLE IRIS: Little Iris is another breed in many ways of the mute although it is far slower in speed and seems to be incapable of moving effectively although to make up for this it can take a far more bigger amount of damage than the frail mute. Its attack although slow will aim for any part of Iris, even her vital areas and will not toy or make small attacks. While it takes time to attack when the Little snaps its jaw onto Winter it will gain intense lock jaw with its immensively powerful mouth, able to tear off flesh with ease although it focuses on staying locked onto its target no matter what. The creatures actually has a mouth and eyes although it dispaly signs of having a poor condition in all of them. Its sight is actually fair, it easily detects any light and if close enough in the dark if it will begin pursuit.

SYMBOLISM: The Little Iris is a manifestation not of Winter' emotions or her former hatred for others of their breed but rather how shes changed and thus hence why it has such a strong resemblence to her younger self. Although a past image the little iris is a manifestation of modern feelings and her growth as a person, by rejecting her old ideals and accepting new ones she has begun dismantling her old image and as such her inner child lies forgotten in the dark, falling to pieces as the modern WInter Iris continues to live her life and move further from what she used to think and feel. The pony is also a throw back to a hatred not only of her origins but of herself, both of her modern emotion for her wrong doings and the past self for being an Earth Pony and incapable of certain things, because of this the Winter Iris is typicaly found dead, tortured or victim to another manifestation for food or simple sadistic pleasure from the other monsters that haunt the alysium. The Little Iris also has its mouth closed or rather forced shut which means it can let out weak wimpers and cries as it wanders the dark without the abillity to speak which is a symbolic gesture of Iris putting her old expression out of her life and not allowing it to come be a part of it again.Little Iris are very aggressive which is the fear of the old self trying to lach itself onto her new life once more. The little Iris is the only creature that can pass under the Enigma without getting harmed due to its size which stands for her past inability to be harmed by the future and also being seen as aboslutely worthless by the powerful figure and dreams it represents.

ENIGMA: The Enigma is a mysterious but very staturely threatening creature that hangs from the celling. Its unable to be seen for sure with its body normally drenched in darkness or shadows whenever it pops up. It only appears by extension of this in very dark and lightless areas where it will violently swing down from the top and knocked down Iris or attempt to swing forth and tackle her in a aggressive manner. Its form of pressure is far more powerful than the pitiful Tense and also bigger and faster in general although to make up for this it is unable to leave its spot. The amount of pain this creature can take is also very high just like the Tense.

SYMBOLISM: The hanging nature of the creature is Winter Iris' sense of fear for the future and the dread she has of it constantly looming over her, the large frame is also a throw back to her doubt of being able to mount up to a figure that she considers above her like Saphire shore and the attacks of it knocking her down is fear of being unable to reach such heights only to fall down and end up in sqaure one when trying, it may also be a throw back to the obstacle of being an earth pony competeing with gifted breeds like unicorns and pegasi which takes a great earth pony of natural abilities to stand out amongst such ponies and thus is also a past fear too from Little Iris that is scared of not being able to reach the dammands the world would have for an Earth Pony to have an impressive stake in society-even a incompetent pegasi can govern the weather and a weak pegasi do some of Earth Pony chores easily with magic so an earth pony must excel at a skill to be note worthy, even other breeds can become as strong as earth ponies with enough training or simply outdo thme with magic. The figure is also dressed in shadow and its form is strapped with various belts that malform its actual frame, making it hard to tell what the figure may actually be in any sense of the word which stands as a symbol for winter Iris' future in general although it has a slight skeletial tone to it all which in turn may be a small reference to her inveitable conclusion of her death that is seeable but far just like the height of the skeltial chest of the Enigma. Because of this the hanging creature is not also the looming anxiety of her career maybe falling and ending in the gutter-knocking her down-but also the natural fear of death that all mortals hold and the turmoil of not meeting up to snuff to compair to most other figures. Its lack of a face too is Winter doubt of her stability which tags along with the creatures tendency to swirl about as the girl went from isolated and hateful to out side and expressive, she is unsure is she will have such a dramatic change again within the years to come. The enigma inability to move from its spot is also a form of Winter Iirs dread of still being in the same place and not having moved on after all these years.

START: The start is a rather big creation just like the tense and in many ways has the same rough shape in designn although the difference in them are more than noticable. The Start legs for one are far more muscline and suffer with no trembling or unstable periods in them, it also moves faster because of this and while stillslow compaired to a running mare it is still swifter than Tense by all means although they appear in far less numbers than a Tense does. The start' head is also nothing like a pony and is far more humaniod and rounded which makes reaching for head strikes more difficult without an extra long melee weapon or range attack. The Start dosen't focus on apply pleasure but consuming Iris in its mouth at the middle with hasa gooy ball sitting above it that will get caught in her hair, holding her as she get pulled in and then suffocated to death by the plastic fabric that builds up the monsters frame.

SYMBOLISM: The start is a monster of great size although not as big as the Enigma and not really too different to the tense it could be made that its large frame is another standing for WInter Iris' parents. Its masculine legs could be the strength of her father holding up the emotional distress that Iris went through when trying to avoid their negative emotions and over looming sense of disapproval and the upper femmine mouth could represent her mothers more social indirection of affecting her in Iris' youth, enable by the father and committed by the mother although the creatures lack of a snout, eyes, ears mouth make it clear that is unsure of its directionand thus maybe is a throw back to the parents un-aware affect on their own daughter with their badgering ideals. The Start plastic like body is also a sign of the social world that she avoided as it is constantly filled to brim with air and ready to explode until the creature lets out a screeching sound which releases it all which is not only how her mother and father sounded to Iris when in her isolated state by asymbol of her own way behavioural of lashing out when she could no longer hold her thoughts by either raising her voice her getting aggressive in general. The mouth resemblece of a female organ is her Winter Iris' desire to be reborn as anything else beside from an earth pony and the fact that once inside the creature begins suffocating and is held still by the goeey ball on top is her most darkest and depressed feelings of wanting to be still born due to her innate hatred of what she is. The human like head of the Start is also a hint of creation as it is a strangely close to a man skull shape although more sphereical which is also a sign of the world that she had travelled, no matter where she goes or what does in that world the fact ofher birth and her actions/emotions will always be coupled with her modern expereince and deeds.

The journal of Hospital staff and paitents:

Doctor Volunteen Salpher:

Age: 28

The doctor Volunteen is a world reknown medical figure that has been lamented as one of the best minds to enter the pyscholigcal practice in Equestera ever. His radical ideas and extreme lengths while questioned have been allowed due to his out standing record and huge sucess rates in curing his paitents, any other doctor that would put forth the same risky ideas Volunteen had with most likely be denied on spot with little waiting or consideration put into it although those other doctors have not achieved the level of professional reputation that Salpher had. The doctor originally made it into the buisiness at the age of 17 as a full fledge docter that was working with mild pyschosis at the time which even if he did work with lower urgency paitents was a big achievement to be dubbed a docter at such a fail age, as the years went on his records only improved until, he was soon helping more serious ponies with horrible illness like Pryomania, extreme paranoia and schizophrenia by the age 20, his quick leap to the top of the ladder was enough to get most of the powers that be to pay attention to, including the princess which he was hired by to help Luna adapt from being long term isolated to a extremely heavy social enviroment that was the higher class existences in the palace of canterlot.

His past few years with such heavy income by the princess and the endorsement from many powerful political figures allowed him to start commiting his own expirement and obtain his own ayslium which made him cheif of the entire staff. Having full control he begun developing new techniques and ideas as rapidly as he could, finding quick and amazingly effective cures for more minors illness such as OCD and anti-social behavoural disorder. He pathed a way for the austitic and mentally disabled spectrum which had been added to medical journals, vastly moving forward the years of diagnosis and treatment to these types of characters. His use of magic heavily in therapy was also starting to become more evident into the treatments of other ponies although the lower doctors in other aysliums have had trouble utilizing his more dramatic and dangerous treatments for their serious mentally afllicted paitents.

Volunteen has been accused of closing doors to both pegasis and earth ponies with his heavy use of spells and in some cases accused of madness for the fact some ponies he released still show clear signs of acute issues although those he does release can function in society such as talking, working, being in crowds and so on which his reply to the press was

"The first step to curing mental illness is giving the host the confidence that they can be around healthy people. If we had a weak or sick pony, we do not lock them and not let them try to work out with other ponies. They gain confidence in being with other healthy ponies..once we neutralize the dangerous aspects I believe that slowly making them work side by side with others will give them the chance to learn what is normal and rational all over again"-Volunteen

Although some feel angry at having to work with still struggling paitents even if their out bursts and tantrums have been effectively wiped away, earning Volunteen some enemies and political foes. His revelation of certain facts also about the pony mind has earned his aggressive and violent opposition from fringe movement and established groups that said facts create a barricade for there agendas.

Doctor Voluneteen was born with Nimpu-fugrolisis. A genetic disorder that means the pony body has not decided on what breed it is in birth and as such not properly developed any of his wings, horn or muscles. His muscles and bones are brittle equal to a small child and his wings are incapable of flight and are even smaller in size as well is his horn. While he may have all pony breeds features he is poor in all of them, capable of very minor magic, it still a struggle and in some cases. Painful to use, because of his lack of physical or magical skills he is constantly acompanied by a set of workers who help not only with his daily life but with his work subjects too. On top of this his fur is not fully developed, being soemwhat fluffy as well as sickly, molted like some kind of black mold is growing from the stems and his body cannot grown a mane or tail, his features are always stressed and weak along with his lack of a cutie mark which is also a part of his genetic disorder.

Nurse Tender Tall:

Age: 27

Nurse Tender Tall is one of the few ponies that travelled with Volunteen since his promotion to a higher level of medical field, while she may not of been with him since the start, she was there to witness his rise to fame with the contract by several important figures along with the princess herself and as such is considered to be rather equipped herself despite being such a grunt in the workforce.she is commonly tasked with minor chores such as reception duty, giving out medicine and sorting out several documents for the doctors that all reside in the asylum. Nurse Tall while not being qualified to actually handle extreme cases like most of the staff has earned a rather good part time slot as a councillor for less cases which she was ensured that if she did well that volunteen will promote her. With minor duties but promise for a higher grade, Nurse Tender Tall is one of the only ponies in the establishment to grow up in the small village of pony villl while most staff tend to be from bigger urban areas like canterlot although volunteen tries to get at least one staff member from any village/city so the staff to patient relationship can be more enforced by nostalgic thoughts of home. While Nurse Tender looks older than she meant to be, her fur is ruffled and stiff at points, her hair seem easy to get into a bad mood and her face is aligned with a few wrinkles, along with her smaller size she is as much a late twenties pony as anyone else, although she may not be perfect to look at, she is mortal and thus physical flaws are inevitable. Her expression are strong and her eyes glinting most of the time with a small spark within her orbs and her movements are lively as well as fluent to make up for this. Nurse Tender is also qualified to deliver first aid, engage with cases when a doctor is not able to be reached due her experience and treat illness of both mild and severe in nature.

Patient 429-Malcom Brigstone:

Age: 21

The subject mental illness while erratic has not shown any real instability, He doesn't really display any serious burst of emotions, occasionally we might have to deal with upstart panic attacks when he is forced into crowds or out side. He has a abnormal attraction to darkness and being indoors, his isolationist behaviour is seriously crippling his mental recover as well as certain physical aspect. This is the core part that we need to treat. For the most part while he may be eccentric in thinking he could easily be accepted back into society if we could get him to exit his shell. Previous attempts to make him go outside have made him disturbed and sometimes paranoid although he has only acted violently on one occasion. Because of this we encourage all staff members to not excite this member in any way, keep him calm and make sure he is relaxed before trying to make him leave. Beigstone is a former rock farmer and thus is physically very strong even despite not being in use of his muscle for a good time ,his chemical changes have also made him physically more aggressive too. Strong caution is suggested. Note: DO NOT LEAVE HIM IN THE CONFINEMENT. He will act violently if we try to take him out again. Please note he has actually tried to get into confinement although thankfully his morality is intact and he refuses to use violent or cruel means to do so. he a trouble maker somewhat but only gets violent when very unsettled or when trying to force him out of confinement. Oh and please, don't do anything to his pictures, diaries or writings and recordings, while sometimes they may seem worrying it all apart of the therapy doctor volunteen subscribed to him.

Important: Patient 429 has developed some sort of fear of the other patient 347. Please,make sure these two do not have to spend time together.

The rough outline will only exist, door that are there or doors that are able to open can be altered and in some cases some rooms will disappear or change in size entirely.
