Character Summary: Tiny was born to two very wealthy Canterlot Socialites, Yesterday and Tommorow ; he was a very tiny foal so his parents being new to this whole parenting fussed relentlessly! They kept him home for school and made sure he got the best tutors and education that money could buy but let his social life suffer for it.

His father was a jeweler that adored making ornate delicate Diadems and pendants and broaches for the most elite members of Canterlot Society, so it wasn’t a surprise that Tiny ended up being fascinated by the process just like his father, he spent many hours spending time with him learning the craft, how the wires worked, and how the Gem's needed to be set and polished. He often fiddled around with scraps his father left on his desk for practice.

It was when he was messing around with some of the gems that his father had deemed un usable due to minor flaws he used his magic to gently form a beautiful broach, with the gems cut and set via his magic to sparkle and twinkle brilliantly, even his father whom was obsessed with perfection was impressed and easily sold it to a fancy pony that simply adored it, when he handed his son the bag of bits he had rightfully earned the three flawed but beautiful diamonds appeared on his flank.

Over the course of his younger years Tiny took a serious attempt to broaden his social knowledge and relationships though never seemed to fit in with the upper class despite his parents nudging. It wasn’t until he went to the small quaint town of Ponyville for a trip that he met a unicorn he was able to bond with! Said Unicorn ran a boutique that made bags and they became close friends.

Now a days Tiny is working at his Fathers Jewelry store under his Father Yesterday's watchful gaze, waiting for the day he's earned the right to take over the family buisness and sells his beautiful creations made with all gems, there wasn’t a flaw too big or a gem too small that he couldn’t make into something beautiful, and he regularly sends some of his best gems to his friend in Ponyville! The one thing that his father allowed was the changing of the store name, It used to be "All that Glitters" but now it is "Diamonds in the Rough"

Tiny is a very gentle soul that loves to watch ponies talk, but is very shy and can never force himself to butt in, loving long walks and is always willing to lend a helping hoof to any pony that asks him, that’s a problem with him he’s got a very hard time saying NO.

His friend Cashmere however is trying to help him strengthen his back bone and he is slowly starting to open up to other ponies.

Just one small question before I can say I can stamp it...

A young Stallion running a shop like this seems like an awfully tricky responsibility - wouldn't having him in training with his father make for a more interesting backstory, and allow for the pony to have ambitions about how he would run things if he was on his own, as opposed to being 'stuck', in his eyes, with his pop.

I certainly feel that there's a greater potential for character growth/flaws/dynamics if he's in a position where he's having to prove his worth to his father and co rather than just having it all handed to him on a silver platter - after all, nothing in any life comes for free...especially not something as valuable as a family business!
