Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Mane and tail are Onyx (#0F0F0F) with Maize (#FBEC5D) highlights appearing from time to time while trotting. Although wings differ from typical ones. Their appearance reminds more of an Earth angel, rather than a pony. Therefore, due to his oddity, Volt rarely moves without wearing his white cape, which covers the wings.

Eye Color: Aquatic blue.

Cutie Mark: Skin-colored heart being engulfed with angelic wings.

Physique: You'd probably consider him the most average pony you could.

Origin: Although he remembers his youth, he claims he wasn't ever born and simply continued existing near everypony around. But who knows the truth?

Occupation: A free soul. Acts as an arbiter, he simply observes. Although one may never know when he'll decide to interfere.

Motivation: Currently doesn't have a true target he'd like to achieve. He travels throughout different realms, observing the events around him and choosing the most propitious moments to step into the action.

Likes: Cunning moves, being surprised, challenges (not “I challenge you!” ones...), throwing others into confusion, mysteries, smiling (always smile... it makes people wonder what you're up to), righteous judgments, manipulations, acting for the greater good, nighttime, books, contemplations.

Dislikes: Being ignored (does it surprise you...?), destructive behaviors, dirty tricks, being spoken to in riddles, being manipulated, conflicts.

Character Summary:

Volt's colthood was quite typical. Playing with other ponies, doing silly stuff. He was nothing more than yet another Pegasus. But after growing a bit, he found his parents being a burden for him which he couldn't handle. He had a weird feeling they acted against him, typical rebellious attitude. But young colt, unlike others, decided to act at once. Still being a blank flank, he left his family and, after short search, he found a new one. A family residing inside of monastery, not far away from his original living place.

Volt spent many years between the monk ponies, finally becoming a stallion. That event was a milepost for him. After long years of separation from outer world, he left the gates of the monastery. His appearance changed. His mane switched from pure maize into onyx, he started wearing a white coat, covering his wings for unknown reason, he gained his Cutie Mark. The story behind his Mark, though, remained inside the thick walls of the monastery. His attitude changed as well. From playful and joyful colt, he turned into a judgmental, serious stallion. He started speaking of himself as of the chosen one, but he never spoke of what happened inside the monastery during those years. Soon after the monastery itself was found abandoned. The peaceful monks left a note, that their presence is no longer required here in order to watch over the area.

What monks did not predict, was the fact that he'd start traveling to other lands. At first, Volt acted hollow. It seemed as he was learning all the typical behaviors again. But, this time, he lived his life the way he wanted. His new 'incarnation' shaped him vastly different than one could expect. It seemed as wherever he interfered, the area drew benefits from his presence.

In end, Volt found himself at the borders of a forest. Locals called it the “Forest of Madness”. It was yet another stop in his pointless journey, but the events and personalities he encountered drew his attention. With a slight smile, he decided to remain there for longer, observing... things, as this would be the best word to describe the situation.
