My thought was to tie a vine to the Sunflowers, knowing that they would turn and pull the vine when the sun rises, and when the vine is pulled, it will release..something that will make noise to wake us up. She walks back into the cave and sets the leaf down on the ground, causing the contents to spill out, which are revealed to be a large variety of different fruits.
