Well this spoils the episode pretty heavily, but I have to say that this is pretty good stuff. Except why, WHY is Luna always shoved aside?! And I would say that they are setting Twilight up for being a successor, which I don't know how that would really work.

I like the episode names so far, especially "Sleepless in Ponyville". Perhaps that's the Celestia/Luna backstory episode? And let's just hope that AJ's episodes don't get hijacked by Derpy...

There is pretty much one reason this system exists: MONEYMONEYMONEY Ahem. There is an incredible amount of consumers out there that will buy a new game just because it's new. And the major titles like CoD and BF prey off of that. This also caters to the "instant gratification" desire that many people tend to have. "3 new maps for $15 that I could get right now?! YES!" That's a huge reason that these type of systems have been able to survive for so long. Valve, though, has a system that works, and that's why I play a LOT of TF2. If game developers want to be successful in the future, then they should adopt Valve's strategy.

Well, looks like they're actually taking fandom ideas for episode ideas... I'm pretty sure this was a fanfic or something before they thought of it, but I could be wrong.

GAAAAAHHHH!!!! NEVERRRRRRR!!!! But yeah, that thought makes me sad... BUT, this is about Season 3 hype, and as such, my post will be on topic. Although a whole bunch of people above have said what I am going to say, I'm going to say it anyway. SEASON 3 WILL BE AWESOME. There's no point in arguing about it, DHX and Studio B, as Kryptchild said earlier, have proved again and again that they know how to make a good show. I have no doubts that S3 will be amazing. And if you even want to point this in a mathematical direction, the gap between S1 and S2 was about 4 months. The gap between S2 and S3 is 7 months, and they are chopping the episode count in half. That means the episodes in S3 should be 3.5 times better. If I did my calculations right.
