Mane/Tail: His mane is short, the bangs coming in his eyes a bit, and it's a fluffy pile of dark blonde, bits of it hanging near his ears, and the back hanging over his neck, while his tail is long and slightly wavy, a bit on the wild side.

Physique: Wirey and thin, but don't let his looks deceive you, he's a lithe feather but he's strong as an ox!

Residence: Canterlot

Occupation: Seamster,Threadweaver, Jewelry encruster, fabulousizer, and embroider! (He runs a second hand shop where he repairs old clothes to look like new)

Cutie Mark: (A silver needle in the shape of a lightning bolt with a bit of red thread through the eye wrapping around it)


History: Despite his current life Cardamom started off with rather humble beginnings! In the long away city of Dodge Junction a small peach colored foal was born to two very proud parents! His mother named him Cardamom after one of her favorite herbs, he brought freshness into their life, and they were both convinced he would go far in the world!

Life in the Dodge was tough for a little foal, it was quite clear he was not big and tough like the other colts, who got part time after school jobs at the Cherry Orchards in town bucking some of the smaller trees that a older pony might damage by kicking too hard! That and his mother was incredibly fussy and preferred her "Widdle Cardy" to stay in with her after his lessons were done.

His parents ran a tailor shop, most of the work actually revolving around seaming and repairing bonnets, and dresses that were worn for special occasions, or fancying up some simple duds to breath new life into them! So Cardamom got to watch his mother's sewing needle fly, and hear his father's sharp scissors go snip snip.To help him earn bits to spend with his friends his parents decided to give him simple tasks to complete like sewing buttons back on, or repairing small tears in shirts.

Cardamom always did these tasks rather quickly, having a sharp eye naturally for the work he did! And would spend the rest of his time watching his parents and learning. One day there was to be a huge barn raising; Every pony would be there after the barn was up, wearing their best clothes and dancing the night away! However Cardamom's mother was in slight dismay as she didn't have her dress to wear, as Cardamom on accident had spilled grape juice on the pure white fabric, right in the center of the top!

Cardamom felt guilty, ears drooped as he heard his mother searching through their attic for something decent to wear, in that moment his ears pinned back, no way was his mother going to the barn raising without something wonderful! Not even thinking twice Cardamom snatched up his mother's dress and bolted to his room, putting it on a spare dress mannequin he paced for a minute or two to think of how to fix this poor dress... and then suddenly he knew JUST what to do! Focusing his magic he took control of a nearby needle and started to sew frantically; He sewed with every inch of passion and drive he had!

Before his mother and father could gather him for the barn raising his mother felt a tug on the hem of the dress she was wearing, glancing down her eyes widened as her son presented her with the dress... He had taken the time to embroider a big patch of juicy blackberries around the stain! So it looked like her dress had a beautiful pattern sewn on it instead of just a nasty stain! The boarder around the skirt bore the same pattern to make it look like it had always been that way (He had known his mother loved blackberries) Her eyes filled with tears as she touched the berries that seemed so real one could lick them!Once into the dress she hugged her son, thanking him for his efforts before letting out  a surprised gasp; Her son had earned his cutie mark! The red thread to stand for his passion and internal fire to create, and the needle was shaped like a lightning bolt to symbolize his quick thinking and quick actions.

After that Cardamom didn't stop! His studies switched to fashion, and noticed that most ponies in the industry got bored of clothes after a few wears and they ended up in second hand stores...a light bulb went off then and the young colt determined right then and there what he wanted to do! To give old things a new life, a second chance!

Test running this idea in the family business by offering to spice up a few outfits, it was confirmed that Cardamom had a flair for making something old new again.

He worked his way to college in Canterlot, bidding his parents farewell! Pouring his all into the study of fashion, different threading, sewing, and weaving techniques, and with a surprise gift from his parents upon graduation of a generous sum of bits they had been saving ever since his colt hood for him he bought a small shop in Canterlot to start his work.

Years later, and tons of experience and he now owns a much bigger shop, and happily weaves and creates, taking old clothes and making them new, and making a few original pieces! Utilizing many techniques, from embroidery, to weaving, tiedying, and such to make his work quality, and beautiful.

The shop is called "Second Chance Fabrics"

Character Summary: Cardamom is loud  with a big personality, due to being small growing up he stayed slight in stature, but makes up for it with strength of character and body (tons of carrying fabrics everywhere, and wagon pulling) He is a deeply passionate stallion with a flair for making things that other ponies don't want anymore into unique pieces with a breath of freshness! Cardamom was gifted with a generous soul, a fast needle, and unfortunately a blunt sense of honesty, always saying what comes to mind, never sugarcoating anything, and being a little socially dumb.

Thankfully he lives in Canterlot so his blunt ways are easily written off as "Harsh Critic" and seems to be doing well for him, while he does mingle with the creme of the Canterlot crop he will always be a young stallion from Dodge Junction.

His passion can overwhelm him and if he hears you insult something he holds dear he will let you have it! Always seeming to have a speech prepared in case it is necessary, tongue as fast as lighting!

Speaking of fast that's how Cardamom does everything! In his shop you can hear the whir whir whir! Of a sewing loom, or the "Click click click!" Of his needles, as he does everything at a fast pace, and yet seems to seldom slip up, having naturally sharp eyes and good magic, to eye coordination.

A little rough verbally, bluntly honest, and a little hot headed Cardamom is a very sweet stallion that would give you the shirt off his back and would probably embroider your name on it too!


Cardamom is nearly always accompanied by his pet Vampire Fruit Bat Bazil




Bazil was found on a trip to a family farm in AppleLoosa, a bit after it got settled, there wasn't a huge infestation of them, just a small passing family that had settled down briefly to raise their pups. Out of the brood one was the last to fly and seemed to not be as close to the family as others, getting left behind when they moved on.

Cardamom felt bad for him, it took his entire vacation of earning the vampire fruit bat's trust (With lots of apples,oranges, and other fruits) before it would let him help it, but once the friendship was struck, the two were near inseparable! Come the end of the trip Cardamom had the vampire fruit bat snuggly resting on his shoulder, under the red scarf he always wears, sleeping peacefully.

They had been together ever since, Bazil still has a rather hostile personality, but it's all for show, he'll hiss and raise his wings and swoop at ponies if he doesn't know them, just to try and seem like the traditional "scary vampire fruit bat" But once somepony has earned his trust he turns into the biggest baby, perching on shoulders(and hanging upside down on horns) and demanding cuddles and fruit.

Just one small thing I'd like to suggest: could you briefly write just a little bit more about the pet vampire fruit bat? How did Cardamom get Bazil, and what sort of personality does the bat have? Other than that though, great job on this app!

I didn't know it was necessary to write a full bio on the pet, but to be fair the only other character of mine that has one is Lime XD So yes I'll fix that )
