I should let you know that users are not able to recruit for cast positions, and both wonderbolts and shadowbolts fall under that category.

Its very cool that you want to do something, but I gotta let you know that you cant be accepting applications for who is, or isnt a shadowbolt. Also, Vinyl Scratch doesnt have any authority to give it to you.

What you are welcome to do is talk to people about it and encourage them to apply.

Or, you could host a shadowbolts recruitment thread in Crossovers or FFA.

Shadowbolts are something that were being discussed and partially implemented under our old lore structure, and I will be phasing that out in the upcoming months from the Mane RP. There will be a place for them however, in a new RP i will be opening up in conjuncture- one that is more in line with less established MLP canon, and more along the lines of popular fan-canon.

The point I want to drive home is, the way your going about this is incorrect, and your stepping into the role my staffers do- all applications need to go through them, as they are the quality control for Mane RP. In your excitement, i'm afraid you've been mislead to believe you can hire your own team.

Hey, no worries on that! Scythe has told me Flutterscotch is already on the job. Many things have changed since this blog post, since Nocturna was not yet approved, and some kinks have been worked out since then.

Yes I have been talking to the Helpstaff. I don't fully understand everything right now and I'm a bit confused, but let me tell you what I know and did:

I asked Vinyl if he wants to keep leading the Shadowbolts, since he seems to be very busy and rarely online. He then said that he wouldn't mind if someone else is taking over for him and I said I would like to do so. He accepted that and I left the leadership to Tales, while I am managing the RPs.

As far as the Helpstaff told me the Shadowbolts are by lore a flight team like the Aeroblades. They might be based on the story of Nightmare Moon, but they are founded by a business man and not really part of the cast. Since the original cast Shadowbolts were only an illusion from Nightmare Moon. Our Shadowbolts are just ponies who like the idea behind the name and love to play the "evil" flight team.

On my side I'm very confused now wether I can go on with this or not - I just know that the Helpstaff didn't intervene anywhere and they always had access to all the information on my side.
