Hey there! Welcome back to my blog-thing that I almost forgot about!

...yeah, I know I said that I'd do Jurassic World, but I forgot that I saw this one a couple weeks ago, so I figured I might as well review it. This one will be a bit shorter though, since...well, I don't have much to say.

So...spoilers? I guess? Is there anything to spoil? Whatever.

Alright, lets dive into the story: The Bellas are trying to win a championship that most people think they can't win, but end up finding their sound and bond along the way, and win.

Wait...are we talking about the story for the first or second movie here?

Yeah, that's my biggest problem with the movie. The story is almost exactly the same as the first one. I mean, there's some differences I guess, but when it comes down to it, they're the same.

The story wasn't all bad though. There were some 'twists', I guess is the word. I liked the subplot of Becca working in a recording studio. Its just a really good portrayal of the lesson that moving on in life isn't a bad thing.

I also like the new character...Emma or Emily or something like that? Anyway, she was a good awkward type of character...though, that's about it. She never really devolped much, she was just kinda there. But oh well.

Then there's Fat Amy. I found her subplot with her and Bumper (on a side note, why didn't the Treblemakers do much in this movie?) kinda weird. It was just... I dunno, undescribably weird? That's the best way I can put it. Though that scene with her paddling across the lake was pretty hilarious.

Speaking of which, wow the comedy really shined here. Honestly, I think that's the one thing this one genuinely did better than the first one. It really had me laughing at some parts.

But still, there were some cringe-worthy moments when the movie was trying to be funny. The first scene, for example, when Fat Amy's....commandoness, I guess, got them into that whole mess. It was almost trying too hard, in a way? But yeah, that's the biggest example.

Oh yeah, and the a capella itself- I loved it. It was just as good as the first one. I mean, its just cool what they can do, and yeah.

Das Sound Machine? They were okay as an antagonist. Just the cocky rich type I suppose.

So in the end the Bellas win the Worlds and yeah. I know I compared this one a lot, but I just couldn't help it. It was just too similar! But oh well, in the end, 6/10
