This is meant as a gift to BrianBlackberry, who pours so much time, effort and commitment into this website, both as a staff member and an artist. I hope you like it.

It's a variation of the stargazing pose from Lauren Faust's original pitch, and the red thing in the background is there to tie the picture together, since the bottles, mixer and glass looked a bit lost without any background.

I think the little background swirl turned out great. Not only does it hold everything together, but it gives the whole piece a sense of motion to it. It kind of matches the swirl of her tail, and makes me think that she's just lifted all those objects up in a bit sweeping motion.

Heya! Sorry, been very busy all day and didn't get a chance to be on the site really until now. That is adorable and really, it made my day! I dunno about other artists and folks, but I get super psyched anytime anyone goes through the effort of drawing one of my characters. :) To me it is the ultimate complement. Thank you! :D
