I actually have been noticing your style change. it used to be almost all angles, but now there's lots of curves. (I stalk your art btw)

Hm, I'm not sure what it is exactely, but something about the oval shape of the head puts me off, which is sad, because the piece overall is so nice.

Nope, I picked up on that too, while I was colouring it. Couldn't think of how to fix it though, so I just went *shrug* and carried on.

Sometimes you just gotta carry on and get working on the next piece. I like to think that Celestia is training Twilight Sparkle to take over for her, at least for a while anyway. (So I like the subject matter anyway) But other than the flattened head, her foreshortened leg is particularly good.
