Stallionguard Winter Uniform

Very nice. I like the form-fitting thermal layer and the topcoat/cape, but I'm not too keen on the headgear. I was picturing it more like a ushanka rather than a beret, which would also be more functional as it would better protect the ears from cold.

Not terribly fond of the character, my dear, but the costume designs are certainly worthy of note! I especially like the topcoat and collar. It does look the appropriate mix of regal and dutiful.

I will say it looks pretty awesome, but from a practical standpoint, wouldn't you want the fur(?) hat to cover your ear that is not covered by mane?

There's always somethin' isn't there. I'll change the hat, but I'd just like to point out, for the record, that a beret was exactly what I was asked for. Just watch out, having a hat that covers your ears is going to make it harder to hear.

Nah, don't change the hat. It's a personal style! Other ponies might wear the hat differently?

Don't you dare change the hat because I said something about it! No one else seems to mind. Also, from the looks of it, the example is a parade uniform. Therefore practicality is a non issue here.

Once, I'd like to make a casual observation without being filled tremendous ammounts of guilt.

Thow the has ponies in the snow wearing nothing but scarves. I think it's okay if her ear is exposed.
