      Nightmare Night is terrible for candy, especially if you are a colt or filly. I mean who wants to give up their haul to give it to some statue of Nightmare Moon. I mean sheesh...

      I suppose in the quest of friendship, or in general happiness. I wouldn't give out too much candy but I would want to make others happy on such a momentous occasion.

      I usually just leave the Smarties, Necco Wafers, Swedish Fish and Milk Dudes by the statue. I'm pretty sure Pinkie Pie just eats 'em anyways.
