  1. "I really like Sherlock....he's cute...and his voice would make any mare melt...but he wouldn't bat an eye at a silly filly like me..." Cherry repeated, a little louder for Sherlock. She then proceeded to lean forward and plant a kiss on Sherlock's muzzle, leaning back to contemplate that action. Why had she just done that...? She spied her empty glass and gave an internal cheer. She was getting drunk and of course, that meant doing things that she wouldn't have otherwise.
  2. Cherry reached the back of the crowd just as Sherlock called for applause for the band. She shook her head slowly, smiling at him. "It's fine...you sound amazing. You...Dean Appletini is my favorite musician...." She blushed, her tail brushing his flank again as they reached the bar. She controlled her hooves trembling slightly as she reached for her drink, suspicious. "Better safe than not...could I have another, sir? On the rocks this time...a single." She murmured, sliding her glass away from her. "I really like Sherlock....he's cute...and his voice would make any mare melt...but he wouldn't bat an eye at a silly filly like me..." She whispered, a sigh of relief escaping her as her drink reached her once again. "Thank you..." She told the barkeeper, realizing that she had voiced her thoughts around the pony she was thinking about...

  7. Cherry pricked her ears at the sounds of the uptempo music. Another Dean Appletini song. She smiled. That was good. She picked up her scotch and turned to watch Sherlock sing, her eyes never once leaving him as she slowly savored the scotch that she had left. It took her a few more sips to put it down and slowly rise to her hooves, the alcohol only barely affecting her judgement as she moved out to the dance floor. She sighed to herself, wishing it were Sherlock she could dance with. A colt approached her and smiled. "Hi. Care to join me for the rest of this song?" He asked Cherry, as she stood there contemplating the request of another pony just prior to him. "No, no no. I only dance with brown stallions with dark blue eyes and black manes." She said firmly, folding her wings tightly to her side as she realized that they had flared open as the persistent requests started to agitate her.
  8. Cherry grinned as he allowed her to take the ice cube, quickly nabbing the top one before crunching on it a bit. When her scotch came up, she beamed at the bartender and waited. She was rewarded with her patience by the band leader recognizing Sherlock. A surprise to her, but why not? He was part of this world...she was just starting to learn it. Taking a sip of the scotch, she nearly purred in delight. Her father drank Scotch when he didn't have to work the next day, often allowing her to have a sip to acclimate her to the taste. She was about half-way through before she realized the song Sherlock was singing. How had he...no, he didn't know it was her personal favorite. Dean Appletini was truly a musician to her, and Sherlock was a very close match. "Learn something new every day, Cherry...that stallion has a voice!" She muttered more to herself, setting the scotch down to give her time to process the alcohol she had already taken in. "Though how obvious you're being around him is....well, shameless..." She continued softly, not noticing the song had ended. ((Dean Martin, yay! Blame my youth for my love of older music!))
  9. Here is the last two seasons so far availiable for anypony with the patience to watch...or y'know go to videobb and use a to get every episode in on a weekend off...
  10. Cherry's eyes widened when they were let into the speakeasy, her eyes lingering on the unicorn stallion before falling back to Sherlock. Nope...there was nopony she could compare against him fairly. Well, for all that was done...she settled in next to him and pondered a her drink, deciding as quickly as she could to be bold. "Same as him...double." She said, eyeing the scotch in Sherlock's hooves. She leaned forward, closer to him. "May I take an ice cube?" she whispered, hoping he'd agree to her request.
  11. Welcome! I'm gonna guess and say you're an AJ fan too? I've got a few characters that are just itchin' for some new friends, so anytime you wanna play, plot or whatever, gimme a shout.
  12. Cherry watched the two thugs get away, Sherlock's approval ringing in her ears. She was going to have to explain quite a bit to him when the opportunity presented itself. She followed beside him, catching his wink and blushing again. She honestly had absolutely no idea how in the name of Celestia she wasn't turning a full pink like her twin by this point. When he guided her to the building with the steel door, she paused and looked around, making sure that she had observed everything she could before coming up with two possible solutions. "The door is either that of a secret group of mares or stallions or it's the entrance to a cabaret, which would explain the lack of a front entrance and signage..." She said, pacing as the answers came to her.

    Wheee...~

I know I should be writing my stories...but I guess having a stuffy head kinda impedes that certain creative juice...Add to that, I kinda want to play Portal 2 but have to watch a couple of SK movies over the weekend and get some driving lessons in so I can get my liscense...yeah, watch out people on the streets!...I'm actually not that bad a driver, just overly paranoid I'll break the car. The car that happens to belong to my other half. That he left in my care so that he'll have a vehicle to drive when not in his truck...see, now why wouldn't I be afraid of breaking myhis precious?...oh, goddess, I'm rambling. See? This is why writing and sick shouldn't mix...(also, maybe add in a smirnoff to the mix? Yeah....bad day.)
  15. Cherry smiled at the wink Sherlock gave her, her mind racing as she thought of a way to get the other pony away from the abused one. She chuckled at her idea, giving it a shot. She tapped the other pony on his flank, pointing behind him. "I think the Princess is mad at you..." She murmured, watching as he whirled around to find...a brick wall? Cherry took advantage of his distraction to grab a nearby chunk of rock and smack the would-be attacker quickly to knock him out. "Tha's wha' 'appens whe'...." she started to say, shaking her head before putting the rock down out of reach of the unconscious pony. She started again. "That's what happens when you mess with a defenseless pony, you brute!" She grumbled, trotting back to Sherlock's side. She was surprised that she had been able to keep him off her mind long enough to attack at all.
  16. That's not a panel; that's a crusher. We sell those too. Those of you helping us test the repulsion gel today, just follow the blue line on the floor. Those of you who volunteered to be injected with praying mantis DNA, I've got some good news and some bad news: bad news is we're postponing those tests indefinitely. Good news is we've got a much better test for you: fighting an army of mantis men. Pick up a rifle and follow the yellow line. You'll know when the test starts. This first test involves something the lab-boys call repulsion gel. You're not part of the control group by the way - you get the gel. Last poor son of a gun got blue paint, ha ha ha! All joking aside, that did happen. Broke every bone in his legs - tragic. But informative! Or so I'm told. The lab boys just informed me that I should not have mentioned the control group, they're telling me I ought to stop making these pre-recorded messages - that gave me an idea: make more pre-recorded messages. I pay the bills here, I can talk about the control group all damn day! The average human male is about 60% water. Far as we're concerned that's a little extravagant. So if you feel a bit dehydrated in this next test, that's normal. We're gonna hit you with some jet engines and see if we can't get you down to 20 or 30 per cent. You meant these, right? (All above are from Cave Johnson.)
  17. Yay an new pony! Welcome! As for the older generation ponies...remember, some of us pegasisters here grew up with them (and didn't know such magickalness as this thing called friendship until recently!)
  18. Edited. Once again, thank you for the questions. They really do help me think more in-character!

  20. Cherry followed him closely, listening to his every word. She focused on an alley briefly and grumbled under her breath, pausing to observe the abuse a poor pony was taking simply for showing their weakness. "Sherlock...I know we probably shouldn't intervene, but that poor pony is getting beaten...I can't stand by and watch!" She stated, her eyes blazing with subtle anger as she began to trot toward the alley. He had said to be observant and not show weakness...well, she wasn't going to show the latter and as to the former...well, it was better than being distracted with such a powerfully build stallion. She shook her head to clear the thought, finding that it didn't want to simply dissipate. She paused, hanging her head. "I can't step in and fight distracted...not like this." She muttered, turning back to where her mentor stood.

  22. My first game was called D. It was really hard, had no save points and a frickin' treasure chest WAAAAY out on the other side of a pit of spikes...I never did retrieve that chest...but it was fun, for a five year old. And gory...can't forget the gore!
  23. Cherry bounced up, his invitation to learn what he termed street-smarts more than enough for her. She had to once again fight a blush at her own eagerness, refraining from flying at him as she trotted to his side. "So...where to, Sherlock? Uhm...sorry..." She muttered, her apology coming from the way her tail was swishing over his flanks. She had to learn to control herself, especially as she had to focus on the task at hand!
  24. Cherry blushed when Sherlock smiled at her, focusing her attention back on the letter of the missing bracelet. "Fast fillies and slow ponies, huh? Could he have hired someone to have it 'stolen', sold it and hid the gambling debt that way? Sorry...it just intrigues me that she couldn't have noticed a debt of that many bits missing without some sort of track covering..." She mused, nodding at his advice for patience. She could be as patient as she needed to be for this, though she was itching to get started.
  25. Name: Sandy Shores Sex: female Age: Mare Species: earth pony Pelt Color: Light Blue Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Ocean Blue mane and tail with pearls twined through both. Eye Color: Light Pink Cutie Mark: Three Fish Physique: Slender, willowy, fit Origin: Sandy was born and raised in Seasaddle Bay. She still resides there. Roleplay Type: Mane Occupation: Swimming Instructor Motivation: Sandy loves to swim and wants to teach all the ponies in the region to enjoy being in the water as much as on land or in the sky. Likes: Swimming, Foals, Colts, Fillies, a handsome stallion, fish Dislikes: Sushi, layabouts, bad parents, irresponsibility Character Summary: Sandy is the daughter of Bay Runner and Rocky Coast, a fitting pair of earth ponies dedicated to the sea. Her mother, a marine biologist, taught her to swim at an early age, giving her the room to develop her own style of swimming. That is, until she got caught in a riptide and nearly drowned. Since then, she was under constant supervision, no matter what she was attempting, be it trying to fly (that was an epic fail) to befriending the Hippocampi. Her father, an oceanographer, taught her to trust the fish of the sea to teach her to be a better swimmer, letting them guide her to avoid the riptides and undercurrents that flow below every body of water. She got her cutie mark when one of her friends got caught in the riptide her very first time into the water. She made up her mind then to teach all her friends, and eventually everypony, how to swim. She loves teaching and would give the world to see her fillies, colts, and foals that she taught spreading the joy of swimming themselves. Her cutie mark represents her desire to see all the fillies and colts she teaches ‘swim like fish’. When she’s not teaching, she spends her time gathering pretty seashells to give to her mother, whom she still visits. Her father recently passed away, giving her a bit more motivation to teach the children. Though her mother disagrees with her still being single, she can’t help but be proud every time she sees her students swimming and playing. She dreams of one day being able to give Equestria a colt or filly that is just like her parents, a perfect blend of all the various avenues of sea life. If she sees litter on the beach, she will always clean it up. There is nothing she fears more than knowing that the negligence of other ponies has killed some of her underwater friends. She has frequently visited the underwater cave of the Hippocampus that she had practically grown up with, occasionally staying with her instead of facing the reality that her father was gone and her mother was fading without him.
