1. Cherry had flown her way back to Sherlock's home with him on her back, worry deep in her blue eyes. He had just passed out after they had solved their last case and it had taken all of her strength to not cry out for her stallionfriend. As far as she was concerned, once the Castle Guards got the mare, she was ready to leave. It had taken two guards to get Sherlock draped across her back with him passed out. She landed on the balcony as gently as she could, slowing herself to be able to walk him to his couch as quickly and carefully as possible.

He slid off of her back to the couch with only a slight nudge from her as she sat and looked at him. He didn't look well at all...and he had exerted himself in their 'interview'.

"What happened to you, Sherlock? You were doing fine...then you weren't. I'm not going to let you work yourself to death...no way." She murmured, waiting for any sign that he would be waking soon.

  2. Could I trouble you for a request again? I'm thinking of making another foal for Shadowe...Rough Gunner. He's an Earth Foal with a lavender coat, a lime green mane, and hunter green eyes. Shadowe is a Unicorn Foal with a grey coat, orange and forest green mane and tail (spiked) and solid violet eyes. Again, how they're done and interacting is up to you! I only ask that Shadowe's dog, Colby, be with him (black lab) if possible.

  3. Hope looked at the mare who addressed her, smiling warmly. "Everything is fine. My masterpiece is finally finished...and I am glad to see how beautifully it turned out. The only thing I regret about it is that some of the gold has given itself a rather sad looking tarnish from the workings..." She said simply, straightening the necklace in front of her for display. She was eager to know if it was what the other mare was looking for.

  4. ....actually took the time to read the (very) long intro, beginning to end, and can't help but smile at the idea of anyone using footnotes in a post. You are, indeed, a brony...though sitting on the fence kind more than an obsessed fan-boy kind that I've met. Yay for another 'nazi' of sorts! I'm a hyper spelling nazi, can't help but try to spell things the right way the first time. Between the two of us, Odin only knows what would happen to our rps (should that event ever happen...I do agree that your first character should be named Footnote...). That being said, Welcome to Canterlot! I hope you have a great time here and get along with us!

PS: Your art=great! I can't draw to save my life, so don't take that at full value (anyone who can draw is a great artist to a writer/poet...)

  5. I keep kicking around ideas for an earth pony, dedicated to making peach-based items. S/He's generally free-spirited, but when it comes to peach dishes, become all sorts of serious. 'Peaches' is the only name that wants to EVER come when I plan this character but they're background keeps eluding me. I've shelved this pony for a while, unless anypony wants to take them and run with him/her.

Also, I have a pair of crossover ponies that I'd love to use, but they're definitely a difficult pair to play with considering what I made them as...I scrapped my idea for the Tepes Twins to join Equestria for three reasons: 1) Vampires. I cannot in good conscience bring the vampire twins over with kids on the site. 2) Preferences. When I play them...I let them flow without regard and I do not, again, want to subject them to younger players. 3) The Older Brother. He's hard enough to play as a humanoid....seeing as he's a cross-dresser and as straight as a kindergartener's circle. Ponifying him is the hardest thing I could do, and I don't want to have the headache from other sites with personality conflicts about him and how other players treat characters like him (and by default, players like me.)

  6. Hope stared at the intricate necklace she had spent the last three weeks crafting, the gold and silver threads weaving to shimmer beautifully in the dawn sunlight. The burnished gold mare sighed in relief as she laid the necklace down carefully, tears of pride welling in her rose colored eyes. She had worked so hard on the piece, and all it took was one more item and her latest masterpiece would be complete. She had been frantically searching for the one pendant that would complete her work, a bronze medallion that needed etched with her typical logo of a heart. She took greatest pride in her newest piece, waiting rather impatiently for the mail pony to arrive with the needed medallion.

  7. Cosmo smiled and nodded, taking Winter's request to heart. "Of course, dear. The questions are simple and the photos won't be too bad, I promise. My first question deals with your team...do you all get along?" She asked, leading with the softer questions to help relax the obviously nervous pegasus. She beamed at him, an aura of calm surrounding her as she gave a small gesture to Snap Shot to stand back for now. No need worrying him with photos quite yet...those would be for after the questions of everypony.

  8. Sapphire smiled at Bass's question, nodding slightly. "Oh yes, she was very much a prankster like her sisters. She loved being in on a good prank, and I'm sure she still does...even if she acts like it's below her now..." She chastized gently, shaking her head at her daughter as she watched her freeze in place like a statue.

Lilia blushed at her mother's comment, shaking her head. "I do not think it's beneath me...I just haven't quite had time to prank like I did as a foal..." She protested weakly, taking a piece of bread and nibbling it. She savored the flavors of fresh bread, her heart settling as she enjoyed the taste.

  9. I apologize for being so inactive here to all my RP family, driving the big blue behemoth leaves very little time for being down...but I have a computer at home right now, so I can at least TRY to post up....then I'll be sporadic again, for a little while anyways.

  10. Under the water, as the two ponies above slept, Moongazer was trying to find a way to convince her brother to allow her to leave with the two new ponies to see the ocean.

"Please, brother! Let me have this chance to see something new! There may be other sea ponies there, or at least, maybe more to do. I'm tired of playing in a lake, I want to go with those two when they wake!" She pleaded, swimming frantically around the stern looking male.

"How many times must I say no, Moongazer? You are forbidden to leave the lake, as they are forbidden to take you. Go to sleep, sister. I will have words with those two in the morning." Said the male, his eyes cold and indifferent to his sister's begging expression.

  11. Cosmopolitan nodded to Crescent as he flew off, eyeing each of the ponies before her before grinning. She looked at the AeroBlades before her, taking her time to choose her first interviewee. Conner would be a good start, but she wanted to throw the group off instead of picking the speaker. She spied Winter and gave Snap Shot a knowing look.

"You there, the one that just arrived. I want to interview you first, if at all possible. If you'll come with me, we can get this started." She smiled, looking over at Winter with a contemplative gleam in her eyes. Manehattan would never forget the AeroBlades, that was a fact to her.

  12. Lilia's heart was fluttering nicely as they kissed, a little tinge of a pout crossing her features when the kiss ended. She couldn't help the smile that replaced the pout however. Just the idea of being able to kiss Bass was enough for her.

"That was...wow. Have some bread, Bass. Mother makes the best apple bread this side of Fillydelphia." She offered, trying and failing to get her heart rate back under control.

Sapphire merely nodded at Lilia's comment, the kiss making her tremble as she thought of her husband. Storm was the only pony that could fill the void that dwelled within as she thought of what happened to him.

"Thank you, Bass...yes, have some bread. Lilia, dearest...you as well. It's rare to have my any of my three oldest daughters home. At least I have the album to remember all of them by..." She smiled, placing one hoof on the tome before her.

  13. Roleplay Type: Mane

    Name: Charming Masquerade

    Sex: Male

    Age: Stallion

    Species: Unicorn

    Eye Color: Golden Orange

    Coat Color: Charcoal

Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Long wavy mane and tail, black with a white streak down the middle

Physique: Semi-buff, mostly from his herb gathering ventures.

    Cutie Mark: A bubbling cauldron

    Origin/Residence:Trottingham

    Occupation: Apothecary

Motivation: Charming Masquerade likes to make other ponies feel better, and will go out of his way to aid the sick or the ponies under hexes by plants or more mean-spirited unicorns.

Likes: Healing the sick, staying in his apothecary, making potions

Dislikes: Mean ponies, going outside, being teased.

Character Summary: Charming Masquerade is the son of two rather stubborn Unicorns. He was raised with the thought that his parents did not take the time to notice him because they themselves were too busy trying to create something magical for the citizens of Trottingham. However, his parents did take note of what he did and where he went, often approving silently that their colt was doing the right thing. When he was in school, he was frequently the one being picked on for being a blank flank until the day one of his tormentors fell into a patch of poison joke. He recognized the symptoms when they couldn’t speak, noticing that whenever they tried to tease him, their mouth would shrink down to an impossible size then regrow when they stopped. He made the cure for them despite them teasing him until they realized that his cutie mark had appeared.

When he went home that day, his mother and father both happened to notice that he had acquired his cutie mark. They were happy that he had finally acheived something that they could notice and be proud of. During the next few years, he learned all that his parents knew about potions and herbs, locating new ones to test when he wasn’t being now carefully observed by either of his parents. He was glad they were now paying attention to him, however and is still living near them as he runs his own Apothecary. His mother has recently fallen ill and he is using any and all of his free time to make a potion to cure her. He is quite shy from his childhood of being teased and will not readily trust ponies that try to get to know him without an initial time for him to adjust to life with new patrons. He adores foals however, and will readily speak and play with them whenever any one of them comes into his shop to visit.

  14. Lilia blushed, her mother's request just what she was expecting.

"I warned you. Mother is very evil...I love you, Bass." she whispered, balancing the photo album on her back as she leaned in to kiss Bass.

When Lilia's lips met Bass's, Sapphire lifted the album off her daughter's back, allowing it to open to Lilia's school days. The foalhood photos would be opened after they all ate. She kept quiet, glad in her heart to see her daughter happy.
