These are sooo cute! =D I love the second one the most of the Pegasus pony. The last one of the Earth pony with a more "unicorn" tail is kind of interesting. Oh, and your art style is adorable BTW!

Haha I like her response. Go Faust~ Seriously though, I can't believe people are such jerks as to write something like that on her DA page! You'd think that being an artistic community, people would respect the work that goes into ANY artistic work -- even if it is a "kid's show" that isn't their cup of tea. I find it very brave of her to allow people to comment freely on her DA, even when hateful people like this might show up there.

I discovered this forum through Equestria Daily with all of it's regular MLP updates and amazing OC artwork. I'm like many of you in that I grew up on MLP in the 80's and have remained a fan ever since (I even have a few G3s). I was really excited when I discovered FiM, because it was like they made the show knowing that some adults might tune in to watch it. =) There is such great writing behind the show, and every pony (even the background ones!) has an endearing personality that makes you want to see more of them. When even adults can find a show like this witty and entertaining, I think it is really a testament to the abilities of the writers/artists working within the G-rated restrictions and limitations. I like MLP: FiM more than any cartoon airing on TV or Cartoon Network right now. As for me, I'm a California girl in my 20's. I'm a bit young and heart (obviously!) and enjoy watching cartoons and playing waaay too many videogames (I'm mostly an FPS and Steam/PC gamer). I'm a sucker for anything cute (dressup sites like Poupee Girl being my weakness right now) and when it comes to outdoor hobbies I enjoy horseback riding (English -- I only do dressage and I don't like to jump rails). That's about it. Nice to meet you all!

The official character description for Celestia is that she is a "princess pony; the only pony with both the wings of a pegasus and a unicorn's horn" (or something along those lines). So, I think it is safe to assume that only Celestia, Luna, and any other royalty TBA could have both wings and a horn. When it comes to the Hasbro toys and cartoons, there has always been a distinction between the Pegasus ponies, Earth ponies, and Unicorn ponies. The physical features of a pony make them just as special as their cutie mark and usually tie in to some other hobby or skill (athleticism for Earth ponies, speedy flight for Pegasus ponies, magical ability for Unicorn ponies, etc.). Having a pony with all of these features would kind of be "OP" in the MLP universe. Even the royal ponies from the original cartoons didn't have both. Celestia and Luna are the only ones with these features and it was probably done to make them stand out more as the Princesses/Goddesses of Equestria.
