I have added to her backstory as well as (hopefully) fixing that contradiction that you pointed out. In this extra addition I have given her an ambition, a dream so to speak, and maybe it could branch off into her Cutie Mark story?

That makes complete sense to me, I'll spend tonight reading up on the rules and getting my character up to scratch It depends on what kind of "Magic" you want to be doing.

I think with the chat it would be best just to use the chatbox on the side of the livestream, most if not all livestream sites provide a chatbox just to the side. Also will you be incorporating your own rules/D&D rules or will you be following the MLP:RiM PDF Rule book? If you are following the Rule book then I've already got a character set up P.S, if you need any help whatsoever don't hesitate to ask me

Thanks for the help Dessa, I'm kind of partial to Buzz Saw myself I think I shall use that name. As I've changed his name I think I'm gonna change his Cutie-Mark as well, not the story, just the mark itself.

I have updatedthe origin but I am having a LOT of trouble thinking of a new name, I am open to any and all suggestions from anpony.

I'm sure there's a dice rolling program online, if not a random number generator will have to do, and besides if Davroth is livestreaming it he might be doing the dice roll's to stop people from cheating

Davroth, if you need any help then let me know, i know a couple programs that can let you stream your PC screen, you will have to figure out how to use it but i definatly know that the program works

Davroth you are physically reading my mind i swear.... A live stream is a great idea, if you can figure out how to stream your PC screen then you can get a map and all sorts, and you can make the dice rolls etc.... But yea I for one will definatly play

That's an awesome coincidence...... but I'm not complaining, give it a go man, I will definatly play if you do If this does come to fruitition then i think it would be a LOT easier to do it in a live RP chat box other than a forum, opinions?

Yea getting a decent GM with a good storyline might be a bit tricky, but maybe I could give it a go, I'm a little busy at the moment as I'm helping lay a carpet down in about 5 minutes so after that I'll attempt to make a decent storyline, it may take a while though..... But to be fair it does say it involves a lot of improvisation so maybe I wont even need to make a long, thought out story, maybe...

Because its over the internet all it'll need is a notepad and maybe an online dice roller. Oh and in the notebook it gives you a template for your characters stats etc that you can fill in so you wont need to remember anything

Has anypony heard of My Little Pony: Roleplaying is Magic? It's basically D&D for MLP, it has a rule book and everything. It sounds like a fun idea but sadly its made to play with friends at your house with pens and paper, but I was thinking if anyone would be up for giving it a go? The rule book has everything you will need to know and it even tells you how to make a characters stats etc. The Rulebook is a PDF on Google Docs If anyone would like to give it a go then just reply to this thread

Name: Amber Skies Sex: Female Age: Filly Species: Pegasi Coat Color: Yellow/Beige Mane/Tail Color: Pink/Purple Eye Color: Purple Cutie Mark: None Physique: Slender Origin: Cloudsdale Roleplay Type: Mane Occupation: School? Motivation: To bring a smile to her fathers face Backstory: Amber skies is a pure breed pegasi, both of her parents hail from Cloudsdale. Her father, Gale Force, is a Loving father who cares for Amber a bit TOO much and Amber sometimes find herself wanting to get away from all the smoochiness that he has to offer. Her mother, Rain Fall, is the complete opposite, she believes in hard, cold, justice. If Amber ever does anything wrong it is usually met with harsh punishment, or at least her mother tries to punish her, it is because of these clashes of personalities that eventually drove Amber’s parents apart, she now currently lives in Manehatten with her father who continues to work at the Cloudsdale weather factory producing clouds, not only has this actually made Gale a lot happier as he now gets to spend a lot more time with Amber, he also received a much deserved raise as he is currently the only pony who makes clouds and is willing to take them all the way back to Manehatten, it is because of this that Gale has been pushing himself further and further each day trying to keep up with the workload and the excessive amounts of flying. This means that not only is he entirely exhausted by the time he gets home, he has been starting to neglect Amber, whenever he gets home, all he will do is cook dinner, exchange pleasantries and then go straight to bed to be able to get up early for the long day of work, this has upsetted Amber as she wants nothing more than to spend time with her father and as he’s taking less and less interest in her she is beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, Gale might not love her anymore. But being as young as she is she doesn’t notice as to what may be making her father so different, so grumpy, one day she eventually takes it upon herself to find out whats upsetting her father so she secretly follows him on day to the cloud factory where he works, what she saw stunned her, she had seen her father rocket into the distance apparently back towards their hometown of cloudsdale, this made her wonder but before she could delve to deep into thought she saw a blur in the horizon eventually forming into a coherent shape, that shape being her father pulling a cloud in tow and before she could wave him down he was off again. Eventually the gears in Amber's head began to turn as she realized that this was what was making her father so upset and exhausted. Right there on that spot she silently vowed that when she grew up she was going to learn to fly just as fast as her father so she could help him with his workload, that was all that mattered to her, and that’s all that would ever matter to her. Her fathers happiness. From that day forth she began to train, in secret, with a fellow pegasus filly who was a couple years older than herself so she obviously had the advantage of flight already, after weeks of rigorous training and exercises she eventually learnt how to fly, reasonably well that is. That was the day she would ask her father if she could help him, but to her dismay, he declined, he apologized for neglecting her and said that his work was really getting to him but she should just leave it to him. This of course had no effect on Amber as she continued to train, continued to strive to be the best she could ever be, strive to be able to see her fathers smile again Attitude: Amber is still in her filly years which means she goes to school and generally has a lot of energy to spend doing pretty much anything, surprisingly, her wings are pretty developed compared to others her age, she is only able to fly rather short distances but she still tries. She always strives to do her best in anything she does, as she believes, no matter how hard you try to do something, the ends ALWAYS justify the means. Everything she ever does is always focused on two things; Making ponies smile, and being better than what she already is. And as always theres a picture for reference: This is an application for my second character "Amber Skies". She is currently a WIP as i want to add more to her but i don't think there is much more I can add to a filly of such a young age, criticism, pointers and any other comments are greatly appreciated

I've edited the Cutie-Mark story, it is basically exactly the same but i have got rid of the references to the CMC (Changed their colors, replaced any names, etc) Oh and thanks for the advice about the chat up above but I can't get it to work. Tis frustrating, Whenever I open it it says I have to get the latest Adobe Flash Player but whenever I go to get it, it says i already have it so I think my laptop is bugging out on me at the moment but as soon as I can I will take a look

Nah, for a brohoof you need to curl up your fingers and thumb but not into a fist, the palm of your hand should be clearly visible, your "partner" needs to do the same and when you brohoof it should make an audible "clopping" sound if you did it right Warning: DONT i repeat DONT do this hard, it may seem fun but if you do it hard enough it will hurt, A LOT. But if you do it just right it will sting for a couple seconds but it is worth it!

I'll just go for a name change then its a lot easier, and while I'm at it I'll make a rewrite of his backstory, I'll update it when I'm done

Thank you very, very much, I actually didn't see the no pony realations rule . I did look through the rules but that must have gone straight over my head, but yes it was the intention for "Jeremy" to be Doctor Whooves so I will have to go through and change some stuff. But maybe I might get lucky as Doctor Whooves isn't exactly canon, He hasn't been given an actual name by the show itself but if need be then i will change it. And as for the story and how he feels i will add some more detail when i come back onto my laptop later today, I have high hopes for Gerald.

Buzz Saw and Clockswell were never informed of their mothers death, they were told that she decided to move away after they were born. This was a story that Dusty never liked telling the two colts but it was better than saying their mother died. The two colts had a reasonably normal upbringing in the sprawling metropolis of Manehatten, until, their father, Dusty was unfortunately killed in an accident at his workplace during the parasprite infestation. Normally parasprites wouldn’t hurt ponies, and they didn’t but what was weird was that they were eating everything, except the food! Dusty was just sitting down at his desk to start his overtime to be able to pay for his son’s college tutition when he chanced a look at one of the windows, what he saw was not a sprawling metropolis but a buzzing ball of colors bounding straight towards the building he was in. All it took was a couple more seconds and the building was completley decimated leaving nothing to support the stallion. He fell to his death moments after the parasprites left. This came as a big blow for the twins Buzz Saw and Clockswell as Dusty was their only parental figure, They were used to living on their own as Dusty was constantly at work trying to pay for either their school fees or even just their groceries, if it made their lives easier, he was doing it. After they heard the news they decided it would be best to search for their long since dead mother but after a quick visit to the mayoral archives to look for her name and address they quickly learnt of her death, at that moment their were a mixture of emotions running through both of their heads, anger, grief, sadness, none of the feelings were good. They were angry at their Father for not telling them. They were sad that they no longer had any parental figures. Basically they wern’t very happy ponies. After a few weeks of trying to figure out what to do they came to a decision. They would move to Fillydelphia, It was free from all the memories that lingered in Manehatten, it was a fresh start. They eventually moved to Fillydephia when they were both young Stallions, each having earned their own cutie mark they immediatly looked for work, and found it easily. Clockswell - you guessed it - started work in a clock makers making and selling clocks, Buzz Saw however used his skills to start his very own stall in the market repairing misc items such as bikes, sofas and basically anything made out of wood, which in Equestria, is a lot of stuff. Eventually Buzz Saw became so renowned that he opened his own store named “Buzz Saw’s Factory of Fixture”, quite cliche but hey, it attracted attention. Attitude: Buzz Saw’s attitude can be described in many ways, one of them is rude. Ever since learning of his mothers death he has grown a rather short temper, he also tends to upset some ponies with how blunt he can be. He is an extremely honest pony and he thinks that there is no reason to hide the truth, quite honorable but at the same time quite harsh. He generally controls his temper, especially when he is working, but he has been known to lash out at ponies when they continuously pester to fix their item next and general comments like that. However he has never physically hurt anypony he has made a few ponies cry, he never does it intentionally but some ponies just bring out the worst in him. However, despite being rather mean he is always determined to help ponies in anyway he can, ever since receiving his cutie mark he is always willing to lend a hoof where needed, he knows the happiness that he can bring by repairing ponies items, he knows that even the smallest little trinket can mean the world to that one pony, and by being able to fix it he can bring all the more happiness into that pony’s life. Cutie-Mark Story: Buzz Saw’s cutie mark appeared when him, his brother and his father were all visiting Ponyville, Clockswell and Dusty had decided they wanted lunch and went to the local cafe, Buzz Saw however wasn’t hungry so he decided to go to the park, Clockswell and Dusty agreed to let him go as long as he stayed within the park fence, Buzz Saw agreed. When he arrived at the park he was awarded with a beautiful sight of serenity, Lush fields stretching as far as the eye could see, large trees housing various birds and squirrels and a multitude of ponies playing,jumping,laughing and generally having the time of their lives. This however was not true for 3 little fillies who were sitting under a large oak tree, there was one unicorn, one earth pony and one pegasus, the Unicorn was blue with a pink mane, the earth pony was green with a beautiful red mane and the most adorable orange eyes, the pegasus however was purple with a rather unruly green mane, but what struck him as odd was that the pegasus was sat on her haunches bawling her little eyes out, It tore Buzz Saw apart so he ran over as fast as he could to ask what was wrong, the answer he received was silent but unanimous, 3 hooves all pointed towards a broken wooden scooter lieing in a heap beside them. Despite receiving exceptionally evil glares from the earth pony and unicorn Buzz Saw laughed, He laughed for at least a minute before stopping and moving next to the pile of scooter parts. He then continued to fix the scooter in record time by using some sap from the tree he was next to and before any of the fillies knew it there was a seemingly brand new scooter right in front of them. All 3 fillies cheered at exactly the same time which kind of made Buzz Saw’s ears ring but he was happy, happy to have helped the 3 fillies fix their scooter. After hanging out for a good 20 minutes Dusty and Clockswell eventually found Buzz Saw and beckoned him to leave the fillies, they "awed" at exactly the same time, somehow, and proceeded to each give Buzz Saw a playful hug before he left, the pegasus, which he came to know as “Flimsy Wing” gave him a quick peck on the cheek before letting him return to his family, after she left there was an audible popping noise as Buzz Saw blushed profusely before being blinded by an intense white light. His blush left immediately as his face lit up at the sight of his brand, new, cutie mark. I am kind of new to this site so this is the first "App" I have made so far but to be honest I actually didn't know you had to make an app so I already have 3 characters ready to go xD. But I'll be nice and not spam the app forum with all of them at the same time . But yea this is Gerald, he is a WIP and I need to think of a cutie mark story and maybe some other details but apart from them hes good to go.
