  1. "Teacher's pet..." The blue colt mumbled into his arms as he slumped into his desk seat once more, glaring to the front of the class.

The little white foal had to join in with the applauds at Grim's story, how amazingly brave of him to be staying in a haunted house! It made him watch the colt in faint awe as he returned to his desk, despite what that big bully in the back row said.

Suddenly a big flow of confidence came over him and he smiled brightly. Waiting for Cherilee to say the magic words before his hoof came flying up and waggled madly in the air to get the teacher's attention.

"I do! I have a fun story of what I did!" Called out the now exciteable little foal, caught up in the energy of all the story telling.

Gently scrambling off the chair he landed lightly on his rump before tottering to the front, a very brief, reluctant smile on his face as he saw those faces.

    Looking at him.

    Watching him closely.

Oh dear...maybe this wasn't a very good idea.

But they'd told their stories! Even that big jerk Champ!

Clearing his throat, he tried to imagine his parents either side of him and looked out over the students.

"This summer I saw a lot of my aunty Spearmint's customers walk out of her surgery with nice bright, fresh teeth! There were some that got their teeth pulled and some fancy ponies that got their teeth cleaned and I got my check up by my aunty too!" He said, showing off his little pearly white chompers.

"But the most exciting thing happened to me! More than dental care! I made some new friends, AND I got to meet two ex-Wonderbolts!" Whinnying excitably he held out his hooves to try and 'set the scene' as his daddy had once told him.

"The first one I met when I was hiiiiiiiiiigh up in a tree, I was trying to fly but I got so scared! I thought I'd fall for sure! Then two pegasi came and helped me! Miss Fluttershy and mister Taxi, who was one of the Wonderbolts! He gave me a new scooter to help me make my wings strong!...I-I'm not very good at it..." Going a little pink, he went on with his story.

"The second one was miss Star Chaser! She was making sure this filly was okay and she taught us both some super moves! I hope her wing gets better soon!"

He then threw up his hooves slightly.

"And my super special part of summer, was meeting my new friends, Scootaloo, Grim and Sweetie Belle! And it was the bestest summer EVER!"

Whoo! Falling back on his rump he let out a few heavy breaths, that was a LOT to get out. But he felt so much better for it.

  2. Chuckling a little at the 'mud miss' comment, she had to smile at the little unicorn filly before her eyes wandered over to Carrot, worry slowly pealing over her features as she took a few steps closer to the unicorn who was currently trying to aid the other. Leaving Starlight in the company of the other little foal.

Had he hurt himself? She felt a little bad now, if he'd hurt himself trying to help her she was feeling a little guilty now despite the fact he was trying to put a strong face over his pain.

Starlight watched on from where he sat next to Cotton, smiling at the filly briefly as she mentioned her magic and then spread out his tiny wings to flap them weakly.

    "That's okay, I can't fly properly!"

MudBug blinked as she was adressed by the hurt stallion and then smiled faintly, atleast he was trying to put on a strong face infront of the foals. Briefly resting her hooves on the cart whilst she was asked her name, the filly offered a small smile towards the other.

"Name's MudBug, and the little fella over there is Starlight, what's your name tough guy?" She smirked playfully.

  3. So many ponies, so many BUSY ponies. A few of the steam engine ponies were aiding the ladies and gentlecolt's with more luggage than herself out of the train and she felt much more stranded with her bags settled behind her.

Maybe this wasn't the best of ideas...maybe she should've just stayed ho-

A loud and certainly cheerful voice seemed to explode the silence, her deep brown eyes widening and she raised a hoof slightly in faint shock as she looked to the honey golden pony infront of her with a soft blink.

Why did he remind her so much of Pinkie Pie? Possibly the energetic way he greeted her...and in a way it did remind her fondly of her cousin.

Straightening her hat as she realised it had probably been disheveled by her little shocked movement, she offered a small and shy smile to the other as he politely offered her his help and was quite the gentleman about it...in an Appleloosan manner she was sure. The accent made her smile in faint rememberance of her father's southern drawl.

"Lan'sakes, Ah must say Ah never quite expected such an energetic greetin', sir." Noticing her bags she went a little bit pink and let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh! If it wouldn' be botherin' y'none, Ah asked the gentlecolt that passed, but he had his hooves full with some little ones."

Motioning with a sweet smile to the stallion that looked a little overborn by the foals he was sheparding around like a bunch of sheep, or were rather sheparding him as he tried to keep them out of mischief's way. Raising a hoof to her mouth as she politely hid her chuckle in a lady like manner, before her eyes turned back to the golden pony.

"Celestia, where are mah manners, mah name is Bluebelle." She said with a soft dipping curtsey. "And your name, sir?"

  4. The princess blinked slightly at the brown stallion, mind flickering over the thought. Cages opening with the stars alligning? Glancing up to the sky briefly she let out a small, thoughtful 'hmm..' and then looked back to the Doctor with a faint, growing curiousity.

He could've been lieing easily, infact the body language of her guards suggested he could be and the fact he'd just accidentally tripped up the princess Luna didn't seem to calm the armored stallions any further. And they snorted indignantly to the other's words.

Celestia however had always wanted to give her subject's the benefit of the doubt and as she briefly glanced over Luna worriedly to make sure she was alright, she approached a step or two closer.

"I'm intrigued and also worried by what you have to say, pray, continue."

  5. Starlight sat patiently at his desk as he placed his saddlebag under his desk, everything ready for a nice long school day as he stared forward to the chalk board and miss Cherilee. Summer holidays? Oh he had so much to tell! But that shy inclination and subtle hint of self loathing kicked in as he thought that the others would have so much better stories than him...

That inclination was stopped however as a wad of chewed, spit moistened paper splatted against his ear from a very well known source. Said source snickering behind him a few desks back, till everyone was distracted by the door opening up and that orange pegasi and sweet voiced unicorn from the other day walked in, causing the little pale foal to smile brightly at the familiar faces.

This was shaping up to be the bestest first day back ever!

Soon his attention was brought back forward, nobody wanted to speak up and so the inevitable was chosen and the little pegasi couldn't help but feel a little vindicated as he turned and saw a slight look of berudgement on the bully's face.

"Aww jeez..." The upstart colt muttered before sliding from his desk with a grumble, hooves dragging behind him as he stared at miss Cherilee for a moment in an almost rebellious tone. Then again, if he got this out of the way, he'd never have to do it for the rest of the day. First and less painful.

Scuffing his hoof against the straw laden floor he looked out over the rows of faces, eyes narrowed slightly. What were they expecting? Stupid foals...he didn't have to say nothin'...but the fact the teacher was overlooking everything, finally broke out Champ's spirit as he let out a long and painfully audibly bored sigh.

"This summer..." He began in a monotonous drawl, ears flopped as he spoke. "I helped out my dad in his stupid Tiny Hooves Toy Shop and also unload more of the boxes we hadn't opened when we first moved here...it was the most boring time I've ever had, but when you're here what do you expect?" The colt spat out the last words sourly before glancing up to the teacher.

"Can I go back to my seat now?"

  6. Helmet readied. Tail twirling away. He stomped his tiny feet as he prepared himself before watching as the adult jogged off at an easy pace and for a moment he froze up...was he supposed to go? He thought he was suppose to go...yeah he'd better go. Scrambling the little foal scampered after Star Chaser with a lopey little run, so small his feet were so close together so he had to run quite speedily.

Looking more like a puppy being coaxed on by a treat.

He wanted to fly. he really did. And if this helped he was gonna put everything that he was into doing this, his little wings flapping softly as he ran behind Star Chaser.

  7. Glancing at the pair of ponies, Dash had to arch a brow at Bolt as she introduced this 'Carrot' figure and soon her deep magenta eyes fell on the akwardly fidgetive and shy looking stallion who was sort of fumbling over his words a bit...if they were words. The pegasus had to stare a little, mouth hanging open just a tad as she tried to make heads or tails of what this guy was trying to say, she sort of heard him...but at the same time...it was hard to tell if she was really hearing what she thought she was hearing.

She certainly got the name portion of the sentances and the Derpy parts hitting into....whatever a cabre was. Must've meant tree or something. This guy's brogue was really heard to understand on the whole.

Approaching the earth pony she held out a hoof.

"Uh, Rainbow Dash..." She said, relieving herself of the showmanship she usually put into her introductions as she was more concerned what was going to go on with that grey pegasus acting up as usual.

What did that other pony say? About the post office?

Turning back to Carrot as she peeled her eyes off Derpy, she blew some of her multicolored mane out of the way of her eyes.

"The post office? That's like...several streets away, yer way off course, Carrot."

  8. Smiling the mule nodded towards Knightly with a bright and excited look over her face, she was so happy! This was going to be her future and she just loved that her cousin was so excited to help her in that. Glancing to Pinkie as she joined them, her joy just grew with the warmth that fluttered in her chest like an eager butterfly flitting over every flower in a bountiful garden.

"Oh Bramble, Ah'll be sortin' everythin' out once Ah get there, but Ah hear it's one of the best growin' land out in that desert."

She saw the soft green glint at the tip of her cousin's horn and couldn't help but smirk playfully, he was getting riled upp into his gardening mind. The mule admired that of him a lot. Letting out a playful giggle she nodded eagerly towards the slender unicorn with little reluctance.

"You know Ah'd welcome you with open arms, dahlin'!" Rubbing over her stomache she went a tad pink. "But let's get ourselves and these wonderful ponies some food and drink, shall we?"

  9. Several days since her wonderful visit in Ponyville and so many new friends, she was entering this part of Equestria with a bright smile and a skip to her steps as the carriages of the train rattled and rolled their way. Green grass turned to sand and rock that was crimson under the desert sunrise that lit up the new day. And on the horizon...Appleloosa.

Holding her sunhat to her head as she poked her head out the side window of the carriage, she watched as the little town came up in view and felt her smile bloom and grow like the flowers she was sure to have growing soon enough.

Once it got closer, she ducked back inside and soon found the train slowly chugga and wugga its way to a stop with a soft screech as the wheels halted on the tracks and dragged till the coaches stopped at the station floor.

She was at her new home.

Eyes bright and sunny, she waited like the others till it came to a full stop as advised, some gentlemanly pony helping her with her luggage only till she was on the station floor and as she stepped off the train, Bluebelle too the first breath of Appleloosan air. So wonderfully rich and dusty. She felt so at one with the ground here.

    So at home with nature.

And it looked just like she'd read in all those stories, ponies in ten gallon hats and spurrs, leather jackets and all that. Her white silken hat with her floral arrangement must've looked so out of place in this town. For a moment she was worried if she came off as maybe a bit of a snob with the finery she had.

The matching luggage, the hat...a faint blush came to her face as she looked over the town, dainty saddle purse on her back and luggage sat at her side. Looking out over the little quaint homeland that she'd be settling her roots down into...in a manner of speaking.

"Excuse me, sir," She asked a kindly looking pony with a bushy moustache. "Could you help me with mah luggage?"

The pony politely declined, already with a mesh of little foals undertoe that he was keeping an eye on and Bluebelle just stood there, looking a little stranded with herself.

  10. A sad smile fluttered the princess' features at the mentioning of Luna's affinity for only the creatures of the night, she found that not so true, but then she only had an affinity for the creatures of the day, despite her work with the moon and such. She was still primarily a daylight beast and practically radiated sunlight at times.

It wasn't helpful. But it was the way things were it seemed, gently shaking her head to flick out her mane ever so slightly, she looked back towards her sister and the peryton as her smile softened. Everything was fine. Good. She was happy. And so it seemed was the blue cervine.

Lounging in the light of the evening, the old princess let out a relieved sigh, ears falling against her head with a soft smile.

"I'm glad, you've both recovered very well and for that I'm thankful."

  11. The earth pony was in slight awe that she didn't exactly hear Klank's question at first, her ears didn't work till she realised there was some tension in the air, glancing sideways at both unicorns the muddy filly arched a brow at the pair and especially at Astron. She'd never seen him look so...offended, maybe? And she could understand why, but maybe the museum just wasn't this colt's thing?

Creasing her brow in thought she tried to speak over the prince's words but when she couldn't get a word in edgewise she rose her voice, just a little before smiling sweetly at her friend.

"Your highness, I don't mind, really, I don't want goin' to this place to be an inconveniance to our new buddy."

She said, whilst motioning towards Klank. With absoloutely no idea that she'd dropped the bomb.

  12. Following in the depths of the fragrant garden, she allowed the glow of her horn to slowly diminish as her work was finished and watched as the night came alive with its own orchestra. The crickets with their 'violins' and the floating lights of the fireflies that sometimes rested on her long, flowing mane or horn thinking it was a place to rest. Not that she disheveled them from their rest.

Hearing a few spoken words, she turned the corner into the spot where the two had chosen to rest and smiled in soft greeting as she watched the pair. A little look of suprise that passed over her face as the bat came to view but she made sure to tread very gently as she looked couple.

"So how are you both doing?" She asked in a faint whisper, as to not disturb the little guest whilst she glanced to both Skye and Luna.

Resting herself on her legs as her wings let out the faintest of soft pops while laying them on her sides, she was getting far too old.

  13. Getting his face cleaned, the tiny foal let out a small giggle and smiled at the cheerful teacher as he saw all the dust and dirt on his face being wiped away. He wasn't really sure why Champ liked to pick on him, but he was pretty sure it just had to do with his size and such.

Flapping his tiny wings so they sat outside of his small saddlebag his ears swivelled as he heard his name and blinked at the colt from the other day, smiling in faint memory as he was let go of and smiled thankfully up to Cherilee when she was done. Tottering next to the darker colored foal, he smiled brightly.

"Hi Grim!" He chirped, following in to find his desk that he also had to scramble slightly to get onto, once he did however, he had a nice view of the chalkboard. Not a far away place in the back so that he could laze like a certain blue colt.

The colt in question was readying a few paper balls to chew up and a straw to aid his weaponry as he watched the foals file in, glaring slightly at Grim as he entered but not doing much other than that as he stared forward with a dulled expression as he prepared his artillery.

Shoving his saddle bag under his desk he watched miss Cherilee for a moment before rolling those orange eyes of his, a good lession, yeah right. Since when did school ever have any fun lessons?

  14. Smiling at the final response from the peryton, she playfully nudged her sister forward as she made her way to the portion of the garden that overlooked the kingdom, not too far away from the pair as she looked over what she sought and finally found.

The podium of the moon and sun.

Two large podiums stood in a large, flat stone circle. At the current, neither was near the edge of the garden. But as the older mare's horn began to glow, the circle slowly turned with a gravelly groan as stone rubbed against stone and the light gray collum with the large cresent sat above it stared out to the mountainous land before it.

    It was time.

As the mare approached the collumn, her horn continued to glow, but there was a soft glitter to it as she stood with her back to it and unfurled her wings. Eyes set and focused on the sky above as behind her, to the wayward horizon, the moon slowly began to crest the sky. Fat and round and sparkling its shimmering, silver light over the valley as the princess rose with it.

The heavy beating of her wings raising her up into the air with the moon, like two dancers entwined within a delicate waltz as finally the huge, celestial body and the princess aligned themselves with the crescent of the podium and a bright flash of light rippled delicately from the gardens.

After a moment it settled and Celestia landed, turning to look up at the moon as the stars slowly bled in to the sky like tiny pin pricks of light and a smile began to work over her muzzle. A lovely night...but nothing like the one her sister could produce in her time. The first night when she slept...the darkness she saw...it frightened her so much. And out of nowhere it seemed...her sister bore the moon high in the sky...and she slept so much more soundly.

She adored the moon and her sister for both their radiance...and that she could look upon the night and admire it without the brightness blinding her.

Tucking her wings to her side, she saw the night of the garden come to life in the glow of the silvery night.

Where the kissing roses and trumpeting daffodils slipped into their slumber, more flowers began to bloom and blossom in their wake. In the light of the moon, beautiful blue, purple and white flora began to blossom and glow, shimmering in their mistresses soft aura.

Dappled hyacinth, starlit lilies, diamond glittering bluebells and so much of it...she'd made sure to plant it all in honor of her sister the day she had gone...

Something to remind her of her foolishness...of her selfish acts...now...they only made her smile as she made her way into the garden to seek out the pair.

  15. The first day back.

He was both excited and nervous for seeing everypony again after the summer months, it'd be great to see them...but...he guessed they all had so much to do and it would probably put his summer to shame. Never the less, as he heard the bell ringing away he had to be stopped from rushing to far ahead by his aunt until they reached the path leading into school, with an affectionate snuggle between unicorn and pegasi he was nudged towards the doors of knowledge that would fill his tiny head today.

Waving his aunt off, he watched as other little ponies excitedly made their way in aswell and he happily joined them in their playful cantering. A few playing ball whilst they played.

But it seemed the marker for the entire year would be set as the little foal was nearly bowled over by the resident blue menace, his face skidding slightly into the dirt as he blinked akwardly at what the heck just hit him? When he looked up, he should've not been suprised by what he saw.

Champ hated school. As most little ponies did when they had his mental approach to things, he dragged his feet as he passed the gate and stared at the school with a slight rasberry being blown past his lips. A cruddy summer here and a cruddy day was sure to be had, he only perked up when he saw the little white speck of a pegasi he loved to torment and he sped up with a nicker.

Finding a small joy in seeing the little foal spin before making a small dirt trench with his face before he let ought a snorting laugh. That made his day. He'd be set for the rest of the day now and made his way inside, past the pink filly with little greeting other than a small grunt. Where was the desk he'd chosen again?

Peering around he moved to sit himself down and rest his cheek on one hoof with an already bored stare at the chalkboard, this was going to be a loooooong day...

Drawing himself to his hooves in the meantime, Starlight dusted off his face and then scampered his way into the schoolhouse. Smiling at miss Cherilee brightly as he clambered up the stairs, why oh why must he be so small.

"Good morning, miss Cherilee!" He chirped happily and trotted inside with the others.

  16. Watching the red headed stallion get a grip on his hooves, she was about to speak when she was cut off again. Only this time it was more a shock than anything. When that little ball of magic started flitting about the group like a rocketed firefly after the little unicorn had sneezed, the filly had to rear up in suprise before settling her hooves protectively either side of the little colt who was now shaking underneath her.

Eyes settling on the ball of light once they could focus, she watched as the branch practically exploded before her eyes settled on the little filly reponsible.

    She did that?

MudBug just had to stare for a moment or two before letting out her words that mingled with a soft chuckle.

"Hehe WOW kid, that was awesome!" Looking briefly to the colts, she couldn't help but notice the embarassment on the red head's face and how he was interacting with Starlight.

Said little colt just blinking slightly before offering the tiniest of smiles, still nervous of all the ponies but slipping out and looking at the candy maned unicorn particularly.

"How did you do that? That was amazing!" He blurted out, tiny tail ticking away.

Whilst Starlight socialised, MudBug tested the cart, sliding back into her harness and wheeling it back and forth. A sigh of relief escaping her as it moved smoothly before glancing to the others. She'd have been totally in the pits if not for this lot.

"Thanks, you guys saved my flank, I'd have never been able to deliver my dirt without all your help." They did help. The little Unicorn may have zapped the branch completely but it was an awesome team effort.

  17. Fumbling slightly as the scooter was adjusted, the foal watched on for a moment or two before taking his place again, feeling it wobble slightly on its wheels as he rested his chin on the bar to get a feel for it all and found himself liking it just a bit.

Until the wings were mentioned. Blinking his large purple eyes at the pair of them, he glanced to his tiny, meager wings and suddenly he felt a lot more unsure of himself on the contraption. His wings could barely lift him off the ground, how would they do with ANY sort of propulsion?

With a gulp, he almost immediately agreed to Fluttershy's proposal as he outstretched his little wings and flapped them weakly. Batting more like a sunning butterfly than anything else, deffinately not strong enough to offer any sort of thrust.

But by golly was he trying. Tongue stuck out the corner of his mouth and little face scrunched up in focus, he continued to try and beat his wings.

He wanted to fly. And if Mister Taxi said this would help with his wings, he wanted it to work, a small, strained noise escaped him as he began to fluster himself, hoping that Fluttershy's little pushes would help in the initial take off.

  18. I think Rainbow Dash being one of the elements and her rainbow sparking Twilight's magic makes complete sense to her.

It was her magic responding to another element like a chemical reaction and setting it off in a rather volatile manner.

Also, TWILIGHT IS SUCH AN ADORABLEY MASSIVE DORK I CAN'T STAND IT.<3<3<3

AND EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE FLUFFY BABY RAINBOW DAAAAAAASH WITH A SQUEAKY VOOOOOOOICE. <3

  19. Watching her sister, she felt a slight pain in her chest, but it was a sympathising pain, she hadn't forgiven herself either and she was expecting her sister to do so in no time at all? There was that selfishness again, Celestia, well done, just well done...but she didn't let the pain show, instead she nodded softly towards her sister and watched her quietly as she listened to the night sky filly.

She wanted to listen to everything, every syllable, every word, everything she'd missed for the past thousand years without her baby sister there and it had the warmth grow within her chest, especially when the nuzzle came. Celestia wasn't sure how to respond at first, just staring in awe and smiling.

She was real. This wasn't a dream. And there was nothing to fear about her suddenly disapearing.

Lowering her long, slender head she gently nuzzled her cheek against the top of her sister's head, feeling that soft mane and letting out a soft, relieved sigh as the real realisation sunk in. Her baby sister was really there.

Pulling her head back only to look to her sister as she spoke, there was a small, weak smile that fluttered over those pale features at the appology and the reluctance her younger sibling had over her destiny...granted, she had her reluctance aswell when she was alone. How could she rule a world by herself?...But...she proved herself wrong in the end.

A small, reassuring smile lit her face as she tenderly nosed Luna's cheek and watched her quietly for a moment or two.

"Whatever you do and whatever you choose, I will love you no matter what and stick by you...you will never have to be alone again, sister."

Raising her head fully she glanced at the sky and nodded softly to herself.

"It's time to raise the moon...come we'll see if Skye is enjoying the garden."

  20. That slight glare from the other pegasus made the chromatic maned mare chuckle ever so slightly, oh yeaaah Apple Mallow. The memory of the pony made her hide her snickering, but before she could open up her mouth to talk, a sourly remembered sound came from behind her. Nagging. And boy was it nagging.

It made the filly cringe before she turned and saw the green pegasi, her legs now hung limply below her as she listened on in lackluster interest, why today of all days did Tempest have to find her on her nap day? And when she was meeting a new filly too.

"Hello, Tempest." Rainbow replied finally in a monotonous drawl.

Couldn't ponies today greet her by saying 'hello'? Instead of nearly plowing through her or nagging her ears off? Crossing her hooves she continued to listen onto the pair before it finally got onto the 'slack' part and something snapped slightly inside of the sky blue filly, throwing up her hooves in the air.

"WhoaWhoaWHOA!" Came her sudden outburst. "Let's get somethin' straight right here, right now, yeah I did take care of the clouds, I took care of the rainstorm that was scheduled for tonight, I took care of the shadey clouds for the park and the nursery AND I took care of it all in NO time at all. Thank you VERY much!"

Crossing her arms once she was done she peered at the pair of them almost accusingly as she held her pout. Hmmph. Slacker her hoof.
