Character Summary: Canvas was born in Canterlot, with a loving, wealthy family. He was going to a boarding school, with all A's and B's! Until his father got fired from his job, they couldn't pay their bills and were forced to move somewhere else, somewhere calm, peaceful. Ponyville. They moved there, and ever since, his parents were abusive, his grades were bad, and nopony wanted to be his friend, either. He's been farming carrots and corn to support for his family. Canvas wasn't like other ponies. You know that one outcast that sits in the corner? Yeah, that's him. He always drew. During class, at home, where ever he could. He often got in to trouble for that, but he didn't care. He did it anyways. He often got picked on, as well, mainly for being an outcast, but also because of his blank flank. Anypony who knew Canvas didn't like him all that much. Even the teachers were hesitant of talking to him. He was also failing ever single class, other than art. His parents almost put him up for adoption for that. He hasn't gotten his cutie mark yet, I'm afraid. But he will, eventually. Canvas often liked to draw what he thought his cutie mark would look like. It was one of his most favorite things to draw. But he only did that in the privacy of his room. He didn't like other ponies seeing his drawings, or seeing anypony else's drawings. He was afraid of defeat. He has never admitted it, though. He wanted to go back to Canterlot, but he couldn't work up the nerve to run away. And besides, he had no money. How could he survive on his own? He had an idea, but it would take some time. He'd save up enough money to buy food for a couple months, a train ticket, and an education. And so, for the next 5 months, he saved up as much as he could, snuck out through the fields of corn, and was on his way. He caught a train and was on his way back to Canterlot.
