If I had any criticism, it would be occupation and residence is a bit too detailed for the purposes of an app... BUT, there is nothing offensive or rule breaking, so I think it is fine!

It's probably a one time experience though. Finding bronies in one place that isn't an expensive convention, but a theater for the price of a cheap ticket. Plus, I mean, it's MLP.

Honestly as much as I love our community here, I find most bronies at meet-ups and conventions to be irritating to me. I was very selective who I actively talked to at BronyCon last year. Half the time they were trekkies as well as bronies. I didn't engage any bronies at NYCC last year either.

Also it's more of a spin off than mlp...

I'm pretty sure I'll see it, just not sure if it will be in theaters....

No problem, hope they help. Though if you put in the BBCode into the word document and just import it using the BBCode editor (all the buttons should be grayed out in that input mode) it should be easier.

Hey there! So it seems as though you have formatting issues... Now there are two ways to fix this! There is the pretty print (using the buttons at the top) and BBCode method.

To fix the formatting using the pretty print method please, select all text in your OP, then hit the button that looks like an eraser. This will remove all the formatting. After you have done that, you can highlight the Headers, and click bold, which will make only them bold.

The other method is the BBCode method. To use this method you need to toggle the editing mode, which is done by hitting the switch looking button. When you do that you'll see the bold BBCode which will look like "[b ]" and [/b ] (without the spaces). All you need to do is move the "[/b ]" from the end of each field to just before the header!

So to make that clear... Right now your BBCode looks like this "[b ] Roleplay Type: World of Equestria [/b ]" but you want it to look like "[b ] Roleplay Type: [/b ] World of Equestria"

Oh dear... How can I even do this? CDs that shaped me both as a person and my musical tastes?

Well, for me, no music shaped me as a person. Music can impact my emotions and how I feel at the time. But that is always in flux, and if I list the albums that could have had an impact on my emotions over the years, I'm pretty sure I'd break the limit of posting handily... So then the question becomes, what did influence me and how...? I should mention that I was also always the weird kid when it came to music (really I was always the weird kid)... When everyone was listening to Spice Girls I was listening to completely different things like Zappa, Pink Floyd, Squirrel Nut Zippers and so fourth. No one understood my music choices and I really didn't care. I listened to what I liked and didn't let anyone influence me. I was pretty vocal about my disdain for popular music and how I didn't like being forced to like something because it was popular.

Well the #1 and #2 would probably be shared by these two albums...

These two albums caused my addiction to Jazz. Blues was actually caused by a live performance that I saw by one Les Paul and his trio. And oh boy did that change my life, but that is neither here nor there, since it is not an album but a live performance. Not in that order though... I heard Hot first and then went on a mad search for more music like it and then stumbled onto Blue Train, and it is still one of my favorite albums of all time.

Probably next on the list of albums that greatly impacted my tastes in music was this gem:

Yes yes... a "Best of" album... But honestly as the first CD I ever bought personally, and the just sheer awesome collection of Doors songs that all moved me in different ways from The Alabama Song to Riders on the Storm, I mean I can't not include it. Sure, I could find my favorite coherent Doors album, but really those aren't the ones that impacted me, this one was.

Really the last albums that changed me were several classical albums that were in my library that I regrettably never owned so I don't remember the exact ones. I do remember the composers naturally, but not the artists or the exact albums...They were classical works by Vivaldi (Four Seasons), Brahms Concerto works (can't remember which ones), and a collection of Beethoven's symphonies (If I recall it was 5 that really got to me). After learning about classical, funnily enough, through the Looney Toons, I felt compelled to find more, and boy, when I did, I fell in love. There was just a natural splendor to the music, and classical quickly became my go to music for relaxing or studying.

I'm sure I could go on. There are at least two Depeche Mode albums that have a special place in my heart and one Siouxie and the Banshees album that really impacted me, but not near as much as the ones I already mentioned. Those albums shaped how I listened to music, and each, in their own way, gave me new found appreciation for music. Then we have Zappa as well who I loved growing up, and some Nirvana (Particularly Never Mind) but really they didn't shape my tastes in music like the other ones already mentioned.

And btw, those are all from before I got into foreign music, which I won't even touch because I'll be here forever.

Not only has bee venom been used for therapy for centuries, but it has now been discovered that it kills HIV! Bees are bros to humans. They can almost do no wrong! (Well ok... if they swarm at you then that isn't good and it can kill you... or if you're allergic...)

I mean let's look at the positive things bees do...

1) give us honey. Everyone loves honey.

2) They make sure we can breath! If they didn't pollinate we'd have serious issues with plant life successfully growing.

3) They kill HIV

4) Their venom does other awesome therapeutic stuff (granted its the same stuff that kills HIV)

5) Create beeswax (also awesome stuff)

No problem, I know I edited it in when I realized I forgot to mention it, but could you change the title to read "Synchro [Ready]" please? (without quotes of course) You should be able to do this by using the full editor.

The idea was that if there are different rps the character has room to change throughout those. The nausicaa 'timeline' is from an rp on a different website, for example.

Finally, as a side note. Residence is only where your character resides. It has no bearing on where they can RP.

This is a pretty decent start to a potentially interesting character, but there are some things that need editing, tweaking and changing. So please bare with me.

Now first thing on the list is actually the name. "Microne Checkaphina" That doesn't sound very pony. In fact it seems a bit odd in general even for Equestria. However! The nickname is perfect! You should just go with that! "Mic Check"

I think you mean "fades to pale pink" rather than "pales to pale pink"

Now for physical attributes, I know you want to put additional info, but try and keep it to physical descriptions. There are somethings there that are better suited for Character Summary. Like for instance being uncoordinated. Things like that don't have anything to do with physical description, but has to do with the character, and thus should be in the character summary! Nothing big, just some cut and pasting (with tweaking so it can fit)

Unsupportive parents is a bit cliche, but I don't see a problem with it. However, having another foal JUST because of that is another story. I'd tweak that since it seems a bit mean and unpony, since that means they don't care about her at all. Also it would be a third foal so it would be further odd. It is kind of implying that the father is disowning Mic, which doesn't quite work.

Now the next paragraph... I'm sorry, but that will need to be entirely revamped, changed or otherwise removed. First off... her brother cannot get a job at SAA. That is telling other characters what to do. (namely the Apple family ponies) And also, we know that it is a purely family run farm, so no outside hands other than friends of the family (mane 6). This basically removes the necessity for being in Ponyville (for the better)

My suggestion would be to think of where she would move to better suit her singing. (Like a big city where there would be singers she could learn from, like Canterlot, Fillydelphia, Baltimare, Manehattan) And go from there. If her brother is good with his hooves he can do many things in a big city where repairs would be needed.

Keep in mind that the vision of Ponyville is the extremely similar as the one in the show. There are no famous ponies there. No pony that would be able to help Mic realize her dream.

The last thing I'd suggest for her history is advancing her age and time a bit. Unless you plan on her moving and living with her brother in what ever city you choose.

For character summary, it seems a bit much for a filly. She has no official training, yet you are painting her as proficient in anything to do with singing. Learning to sing lullabys doesn't mean she can do anything else. If you want you can, again, make her older and find a mentor somewhere that can teach her those things.

I'd also delve into more things outside of music. Likes Dislikes, and integrate the job and motivation into the character summary a bit more organically. (In other words it should be part of the paragraph instead of a separate one line field) This allows for expansion that will give us more insight into your character.

Hi all I just have a question on something. In some areas of the site it says I am not able to start a new topic, or even reply to one (which is really strange an worrisome as I want to roleplay, but cannot reply to roleplay threads) Here is a screenshot I took a few seconds ago:

Do you have to post so many times before you're allowed to post in other places? Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Your character was just approved. You have to have be patient while a moderator moves your app and gives you the proper permissions to post in those sections.

When your member title says "RP Certified" you should be good to go!

Harmonic Dissonance heard about some girl con in a small town called 'Ponyville.' For a traveling mare, it was hard to meet new ponies and befriend them. In fact she usually only met musicians and few became what anypony could call "friends." There were a few, one in particular she hit it off quick with was a jazz mare known as Birdy. As she disembarked the train coming into Ponyville, she pondered to herself if she'd see the energetic hepcat.

She walked around taking in the sights of the small town as she made her way to the town hall where it was being held. It was always a treat to see a small town, having grown up in a larger city, and constantly traveling to other larger cities where she would most likely land a gig, it was nice to be in a place that was more easy going than the high tension cities. It felt like she could really let loose and enjoy herself in Ponyville. It had already been some time before the doors had opened so she wasn't sure if there was going to be a line or no line at all. It didn't matter much, so long as she could find some nice ponies and have a good time. Maybe even share a drink with some fellow mares.

As she approached the town hall she was surprised to see that there was no one in line for badges. She trotted up to the green mare in the glasses as if she didn't have a care in the world and introduced herself. "[colour=#660066]Hey there. Name's Harmonic Dissonance. Seems I'm a bit late for the party, I was taking in the sites of this little town, ya dig?[/colour]" She wasn't really too worried about missing the line or anything. She knew there'd be plenty of mares already inside, and all she'd need to do is jump in.

"[colour=#660066]By the by, do ya have a piano in this joint? I play a bit, and would like to have a jam session if there are any like minded musicians abouts.[/colour]" She inquired as she was heading inside. She had contacted QuickLime about the badge earlier and had it sent to her pad. She merely wanted to introduce herself to the intrepid host of the Con.
