Lightning Flash soared through the skies over the land between his home, Cloudsdale, and the town he was headed too, Ponyville. Over the course of his life, he had never really left the santuary of his hometown and haven't really discovered anything outside of the cloudy city. Now, he felt ready to finally go out and explore new towns, hopefully making some new friends in the process. With his saddle bag on his back, just in case, he would slowly glide down with his wings outstretched and make a graceful landing right outside Ponyville. "Here goes nothing..." He whispered lowly to himself as he trotted into the town. The blue stallion smiled a little as he scanned his eyes over the buildings of Ponyville, taking in the new sights and sounds of this unfamilar town. Deciding to head to the town market first, curious to see what he could find there. As he approached, he would notice a certain stall catch his eye. Apparently, the pony was having some...fair business as he already had two ponies standing by. From what Lightning could see, he thought they were there to buy...whatever he was selling. He felt rather curious about it so he walked closer, noticing that the pony was selling honey. The blue pony never really had much honey in his life and soon, his curiosity began to grow even more as he walked up to the stall also. "Hello. I just arrived here in Ponyville and I noticed your little honey stall." He would glance over at the other two ponies, feeling a bit self-conscious for intruding on them. "When you are finished with these two ponies, would you mind giving me your recommendation of your best honey? I would love to try some." Lightning would flash a quick smile before waiting patiently for the other two ponies to be helped to first.

Personally, I tend to not care about the people around me and their thoughts about me. I don't mind if they know I love the show and if they do wish to try and tease me or make fun of me about it, it's just words. It won't hurt you if you don't allow it too. But I do agree with trillie, you do need to be careful about people who are narrow minded. Some people just don't know how to deal with someone, especially a male, watching what they call a "girly" show. So, I just think it's a matter of opinion, but for me, I'm not ashamed of watching and loving the show and I am willing to tell anyone, real life or online, that I am a fan of the show.

Roleplaying Type: Mane RP Name: Lightning Flash Gender: Male Age: Young Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye Color: Yellow Coat Color: Blue with yellow on the end of his hooves. Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Brown with a blue stripe. His mane's length is about medium but his tail is a little longer. Physique: Lightning is not too big for his age but he's not too small either. He has a medium build. Cutie Mark: A lightning bolt. Lightning recieved it after helping a group of pegasus ponies calm and stop a large storm. Origin/Residence: Lightning was born in Cloudsdale and still lives there to this day. Occupation: Weather Manager Motivation: One of Lightning's motavation is to be a great weather manager. He wants to specialize in storm clouds mainly but loves to work in all sorts of weather-related work. Another motavation is the feeling of wanting to impress his friends and family. He loves to be recognized for his achievements and always tries to stride for it. Likes: Storms, flying, speed, water, friends, having fun, and helping anypony that needs it. Dislikes: Being grounded, feeling trapped or useless, bullies, extremely warm weather, and at times, alot of work. Character Summary: Lightning was born in a rather average family in Cloudsdale. Throughout his life, he had developed a love for being high in the air and flying. During most of his foal days, he would watch any pony that was flying and study them. Many times, he would try to fly himself, often not succeeding. Once he went to flight school, that is when his love for flying really began to soar. He became intrigued with the ideas of weather and how the pegasi manipulate it. But what he really became interested in was storms. The way they were so ominous and unstable but was important to all ponies fascinated Lightning. Before long, however, he grew restless hearing about it and he wanted to see a storm form and dissipate for real. The young pony would soon get his chance as one day, him and his friends would be playing around with some clouds. Not paying attension to what they were doing and what they were creating, they would accidently make a thunderstorm. Panicked, his friends tried to fix their mistake but instead made things worse. Lightning quickly thought back to what he learned in Flight School and did the first things his instincts told him. As the storm started to arc lightning bolts, the blue young pony made his move. He would flap his wings and fly high above the clouds, rain starting to come down. Hovering over the clouds for a brief moment, he would dive bomb into the wall of clouds, discovering something he never really knew about himself. A love for speed. He would pierce one hole through the clouds. Then another. And another. Before long, he would have pierced enough holes in the clouds to cause the storm to disspate on it's own. This is how Lightning acquired his cutie mark. Some of Lightning's main flaws is that he may be rash and reckless at times. He's always willing to do some of the most dangerous things and he doesn't always think about their consequences. He's also prone to lowering his own self-worth and tends to feel bad when he feels useless or unwanted. Lightning is untrusting at times and it takes him time for other ponies' to gain his trust though once they have it, it's hard to lose it. He also tends to hold grudges, being unforgiving for a while but will always evenually come around and forgive. Despite his flaws, Lightning is generally a very nice pony. He loves to help others and is not afraid to stand up for himself or his friends. He is also very honest. He is not afraid to say his mind but does know when he has to be careful about his words. Lightning loves to have fun and sometimes can be characterized as lazy by some. However, he is a hard working pony and will do almost anything to get the job done right. Lightning will always put his friends and family first and will always stand by them, no matter what.

At the moment, I haven't really thought about it. I was thinking of going more for a fun-loving, free flying pegasus for now. But who knows? Maybe I'll go with a photo pony.
