    Although I do not use Tumblr, I was recently linked by a friend to a site called Fandom Etiquette. It's a very good blog about how to be sane towards stupid idealisms in fandoms. It's a very funny site as well in my opinion, as all the "stories" have a comical undertone to them. Just thought I'd share with everyone. http://thefandometiquette.tumblr.com/

    It's not that big of a deal. There was way too much of a controversy over a background character with an internet-esque name talking. Let fhem do what they want. In the end it won't matter that much.

    About halfway through the episode I figured it out. I scanned some mythological knowledge of mine for all the birds I knew. It was more of a guess than anything else, but it ended up being right.

    When people are introduced to an unknown topic, they tend to think the worst of it. You are forgetting human psychology. Think of that furry episode. Was that portraying the fandom very well? What do you think viewers thought of it? You forget that this episode might be the introduction to the fandom for many people. They seem to like to make people look bad. That's the point of the show, to expose "CRAZY OBSESSIONS."

    That was quite disrespectful. Painful to watch. Inaccurate portrayal of a whole fandom. It portrays some FURRY individuals. But dear god, not them all. Man, even though I dislike furry stuff and athro, and I feel bad for the fandom being portrayed like that.
