  1. Don't you eat all of that candy! You'll make your self hyper and then you'll make yourself sick from eating too much of it.
  2. -Giggles- Hey, I'm not giving out free rides here!
  3. Hi... I'm bored and where I am, it is nearly one in the morning. Yay insomnia!
  4. What is sleep? Sleep is the enemy of the insomniac... For anyone who wonders what an insomniac is, I am an example of one. An insomniac has abnormal sleep patterns. They either not sleep at all for days on end or they wake up in the middle of the night, unable to get back to sleep. I don’t sleep. Granted, that I’ll close my eyes... But I can hear every word said that goes on around me. I can hear the sound of the rain outside, beating down on the window. I can hear my brother’s TV when it is on a low volume. I hear it all and tighten my closed eye lids. If you locked me in a sound proof room, I’d be rocking from one side to the next while blankly staring at a wall. Without the comforting sounds of the world around me, I’d begin to think about the world around me. What’s going on tomorrow? I’ll have to let the day play its self out. I am unable to see the events in the distant future and yet, that is what I’m thinking of right now... Strange, isn’t it? Only one person can put me to sleep. It is due to a scent hormone that is released from her neck. The scent acts in the same way as chloroform. It knocks me out cold. She is one of only a few people who produce this scent and not all people will react to it or even pick it up... If only that scent could be bottled. I’d be asleep by now. But it were to be bottled, other insomniacs would crave the scent an my friend would become over worked with orders for her aroma to be sent to them. No... I wouldn't want her to have all of that pressure firmly resting on her shoulders. I'll let her hug me when I go back to college, so that her scent will put me to sleep. A refreshing little sleep. Oh, that sounds wonderful.
  5. Whisperpaw pulled his white scarf off his coat hanger and put it on. When ever he went into Canterlot, he always felt a chill that was made by the hustle and bustle of moving carts and other ponies. He helped Midnight Sun onto his back and said. "Ready." "It's summer and your going out with a scarf on!" His cousin spoke sounding confused. "I get chilly when I'm in the big city and places where there are large crowds mae me nervous." Whisperpaw replied as he opened the door for Seaspray. "Your still scared of the city... Aren't you?" Midnight Sun spoke in a more understanding tone.
  6. Gerty couldn't help but smile as she watched Dinky bounce the ball in a playful manner. Dinky was so young and innocent just like her daughter when she was Dinky's age. Oh how she wished that she could turn back the years so that she could watch her children learn and grow all over again. But it seemed that would never be possible. At least she still had her momories. No pony could take that away. Dinky then asked Gerty to play. The mare couldn't turn down such a high spirited foal's offer of a game of catch. "Sure, I'll play!"
  7. "I only need my books... But thanks for asking." Midnight Sun replied. Whisperpaw pulled a couple of bowls out of the kitchen cuboard He filled one bowl with cold water. Then he pulled a bag of dry puppy food out of the lower cuboard. He opened the bag and poured out the correct amount for the puppy into the second bowl. After that, the stallion placed both bowls on the floor in the kitchen. Whisperpaw opened the closet in the living room and pulled out a soft padded dog bed. He placed the bed on the floor in the kitchen beside the food and water. Once that was complete, he returned to Seaspray.
  8. Midnight Sun had wondered where Seaspray had gone. When she saw the mare on return, the foal smiled. She was glad that Seaspray hadn't left for good. She showed Midnight Sun the books and the foal's eyes lit up with joy. "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Whisperpaw smiled and opened the door. He stepped aside and looked at his fiancé. "Mares first." He spoke with a smile. There may have been an accident that had happened earlier, but the stallion didn't forget his manners.
  9. the stars lean down to kiss you, & i lie awake and miss you pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere cause ill doze off safe and soundly but i'll miss your arms around me id send a postcard to you dear, cause i wish you were here. ill watch the night turn light blue but its not the same without you because it takes two to whisper quietly the silence isnt so bad til i look at my hands and feel sad cause the spaces between my fingers are right where yours fit perfectly. ill find repose in new ways, though i haven't slept in two days cause cold nostalgia chills me to the bone. but drenched in vanilla twilight ill sit on the front porch all night waist deep in thought because when i think of you, i dont feel so alone...i dont feel so alone...i dont feel so alone as many times as i blink ill think of you tonight. ill think of you tonight. when violet eyes get brighter and heavy wings grow lighter ill taste the sky and feel alive again and ill forget the world i knew but i swear i wont forget you oh if my voice could reach back to the past id whisper in your ear oh darling i wish you were here. Sorry... Sometimes I post the lyrics to what I'm listening to when I am really enjoying the song.
  10. Whisperpaw lowered his head, so that his cousin could hold onto his neck. Once she held on, he used his front hoof to gently nudge the rest of her body onto his back. He looked to the puppy who, was now sitting up, looking at him. He smiled faintly and said. "Good dog... I'll slip a nice puppy treat in with your food for helping Midnight Sun." He watched as the pup stood up and wagged her tail slowly. Whisperpaw turned to Seaspray. He kissed her softly on the cheek affectionatly before saying. "First stop... Home. I know one little puppy who deserves to rest in the comfort of a home. Our home."
  11. Midnight Sun nodded slowly. "It doesn't hurt as bad now... Now it hurts like a bruise. But my leg is still all twisted and funny looking." "That spell wasn't for straightening out your leg. Auntie Seaspray, wanted to make the hurt go away so you'll fell nice and comfortable when we take you to Canterlot Hospital." Whisperpaw replied. He nuzzled Midnight Sun's cheek before telling her to. "Just keep being brave." "What about the puppy? We can't take her to Canterlot with us." The foal replied. "She's a hero... She got help for me when really I needed it." "We'll take her back home and I'll give her some clean water, fresh puppy food and a nice warm dog bed. She'll stay there while we're out." Whisperpaw reassured the foal that her animal friend would be okay while they were gone.
  12. Whisperpaw gently nuzzled Seaspray. "Well, you can try... Solstice Heights hospital collapsed a few days ago. We'll have to take her into Canterlot." He always wanted to take his little cousin to see the different sights in Canterlot. But not like this. Midnight Sun looked up at Seaspray with her big, innocent eyes. She raised her front hooves and wrapped them around her. The foal wanted a hug. "I didn't mean to spoil the picnic. You know that... Right, Auntie Seaspray?"
  13. "I uh... I miss havin' my mutt around with me." Paw Print blurted out. "I know it's been a few years an' all. But Tricks was always there an' when he passed o' old age, I ended up bein' on my own." She looked at the floor as she looked at her front hooves.
  14. They had both fallen asleep. That meant his little cousin could have gone anywhere. Why did he have to close his eyes? If only he had stayed awake. Then Midnight Sun would still be by his side. Whisperpaw was starting to feel guilty as he cantered beside Seaspray, allowing the puppy to lead them to the foal. The puppy had successfully awoked the pair. She ran to Solstice Heights border with them hot on her trail. Whenthey seemed to be out of sight, the border collie would yap as loud as she could so that they could follow the sound of her voice. Once she had made it to Midnight Sun's side, the border collie lay down beside the injured foal and whined loudly. Whisperpaw galloped ahead of Seaspray in order to see his cousin quicker. He stopped head in his tracks when he saw her lying on the floor with her leg twisted in an odd position that didn't seem possible. Even he could tell that she had broken her leg. But Solstice Heights Hospital was closed for repairs as the building was so old that it had just collapsed. The nearest hospital was in Canterlot. Whisperpaw was in tears as he picked up the courage to sit down beside Midnight Sun. "I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have fallen asleep." "It's not your fault. I followed the puppy when I saw her sneaking off. I didn't know that she only came here to drink from the stream." Midnight Sun replied. She looked down at the floor so that Whisperpaw couldn't see her face. Her tears spilled on the rocky ground as she sobbed quietly. "It hurts..." She mumbled.
  15. It was a beautiful summer's morning. About a two hours before it could be classed as lunch time. Whisperpaw was stood at the front of the librarian's desk in Solstice Heights library, wearing his best suit. It was topped off with a rose to add that essential touch. The library was decorated with sparkling golden ribbons and the book shelves had been shifted aside. There was a stallion postioned neatly behind the librarian's desk. He had a ceremonial book resting on the desk, in which he could recite lines from if he were to forget them. Several different ponies were sat together in two neat rows, leaving a line down the centerthat lead directly towards the librarain's desk. Seaspray appeared at the front enterance to the library. She was wearing a dazzling white wedding dress. Her face was blushing a pale shade of red. As she stepped in, several birds began to whistle in a harmonious tune, that seemed to bring together, everypony in the building and warm up their hearts. Suddenly, the pony behind the desk started barking. Seaspray began to run towards Whisperpaw and shook him while telling him to 'wake up.' Whisperpaw opened his eyes slowly. It was just a dream. He rubbed his eyes with his hoof and then looked at Seaspray. The expression on her face no longer held a smile. It had a look of deep worry as though something was wrong. The stallion began to think for a moment what could possibly be wrong. He didn't quite understand. He thought the picnic was going so perfectly. He and Seaspray were sharing some quality time together and Midnight Sun hadn't even tried to argue with either of them. Whisperpaw's eyes widened. He was supposed to be watching his little cousin. He looked passed his fiancé to where Midnight Sun was sitting before he fell asleep. She wasn't there anymore. Instead, there was just a hysteric puppy barking in a loud manner and whining at both of them. The stallion leapt up to his hooves, sharply. "Where's Midnight Sun?" He asked Seaspray. "I was supposed to be taking good care of her!"
  16. "Thank ye' for the invitation to yer' weddin' an' it's so nice ta' see everypony again..." Paw Print Spoke with a smile on her face. She was useless at hiding her accent. The mare had almost managed to get tongue tied while trying to speak in the correct equestrian manner. Those lessons she got off that disgusted pony she asked directions off, weren't exactly very easy for her to follow. Paw Print hadn't planned on trying to act perfect. She just wanted to joke around a bit to try and keep her mood at the same level as everypony else's. The truth was that she was lonely. The mare wanted to adopt another mutt. But she couldn't bring her self around to it. Even though her beloved pet had been gone from her life for several years, she felt as though if she got another stray; she would be betraying her most loyal friend, Tricks.
  17. Whisperpaw could feel his eyes grow heavy. As he did so, the stallion noticed that Seaspray was gently resting her head against his neck. She also had that same sleepy expression on her face. He didn't mind staying awake for the love of his life. Somepony had to watch over Midnight Sun. She was only eight years old after all; which meant that she was still just a foal. He didn't want to even think about the possibilities of his Manehattan aunt's only child getting hurt. She would be disappointed and then she'd tell his other aunt who he grew up with in Canterlot. The guilt would be too much to bear and he didn't want to be shunned by his two aunts. After trying to fight the tempting lure of sleep, his eyes finally snapped shut. Whisperpaw had fallen into a deep sleep. His head was gently resting on his front hooves as he began to dream sweet dreams. Midnight Sun had completely read dog breeds 101. She started to look at all of the different books she had chosen. They all were tempting. She knew not to judge a book by its cover and so she read the description on the back. It was still a difficult descision. She loved the formality and detail of eack book. Midnight Sun often found it hard to choose between books that weren't connected in a series order. She liked to read books with a more adult approach to choosing them which is why she wasn't playing her choosing rhyme game. The border collie woke up from her peaceful nap. She silently stretched, before she wandered off away from the picnic sight. The foal wanted to get Whisperpaw to stop the puppy from leaving. But when she saw that he had fallen asleep, she decided to take matters into her own hooves. With that in mind, Midnight Sun sneaked off to follow the border collie. Soon, she was too far away to be seen from the picnic area. The puppy wandered off into a part of Solstice Heights that had uneven, rocky ground. Solstice Heights was only a village near Canterlot and the mountains. This meant that the ground would be uneven and possibly dangerous in places. Midnight Sun didn't see the dangers. She only saw the puppy wandering away. After walking for a while the border collie finally stopped in front of a small stream to take a drink. The foal sighed softly. "You dragged me all of the way out here because you were thirsty! Do you have any idea how far away we are from cousin Whisperpaw. I can't even see any cottages? We must be on the border of Solstice Heights and the mountains." The puppy simply looked at the foal while licking a droplet of water off her own nose. Midnight Sun was about to head back when she slipped on some loose rocks and her left back leg became twisted. She screamed out in pain. It really hurt. Sensing her pain the border collie stood bolt upright. The foal had followed her out to the border of Solstice Heights; an area dangerous to foals. The puppy knew the area very well as she had wandered to several different parts of Solstice Heights in search of her next meal and some water to quench her thirst. If she could speak in the foal's language, the border collie would have told her not to follow. She thought that Midnight Sun wouldn't have noticed her sneak off in such a way. There was no time to regret events of the past. The border collie had to alert the mare and the stallion that Midnight Sun was in trouble. She padded over to the foal and gently nuzzled her face to reassure her that help was on it's way. The puppy then ran as fast as she possibly could. After a long time running, she made it back to the picnic blanket. The border collie began to bark hysterically. She also pawed at both Whisperpaw and Seaspray's bodies. The border collie just had to make them see that something was very, very wrong.
  18. Midnight Sun took a moment to process what Whisperpaw had said. She then understood that her mother didn't like picnics because she was an upper class pony who found that causing a picnic blanket to touch dirty ground was uncouth. The foal then heard Seaspray's comment. She soon understood what that meant and began to laugh. After that, she sat back down and proceeded in continuing to read her book. Whisperpaw stretched out his front hooves. The hot sun felt good on his pelt. The stallion loved the way Seaspray gently nuzzled his back. It felt soothing, as though she was relieving his tension with a light massage. A smile was resting gently on his features. His eyes looked sleepily into the distance as he thought about the future and all of the wonders that came with it. Whisperpaw couldn't help, but grin rom ear to ear as the thought of a wedding floated around in his head.
  19. 999... That's the number I'd call if I needed an ambulance, the police or the firemen. So far, I've only needed the fiemen and that was when a pipe burst next door which caused it to flood into his house and into my house.
  20. I'm doing the Midnight walk on the 7th July to raise money for Pendleside Hospice. I'm aiming to raise £100.

  21. My post count number is 666! Now, where have I heard that number before?
  22. "Your family... Both of you." Whisperpaw replied before slipping a dandelion sandwich onto a plate. He happily began to eat his sandwich. The stallion had never felt so relaxed around his little cousin before. Usually by now the pair would be yelling at each other for a reason that none of them fully understood. He much preferred his cousin to act in this peaceful manner. "This is what you do for family?" Midnight Sun spoke as she had finished her sandwich. "Mother would never allow me to eat food off a picnic blanket. She said I'd get germs and become really sick." The foal spoke with pure honesty and innocence. She looked up at Whisperpaw and Seaspray, with her big, innocent eyes. She didn't understand what to believe. She wanted to believe that her mother was right. But Whisperpaw wasn't sick and she was sure that he had been on plenty of picnics. "You'd only get germs and become sick if your food was touching the ground... The picnic blanket protects the food from the germs." Whisperpaw explained to the foal.
  23. Midnight Sun giggled as she playfully winked back at Seaspray. She left the book and looked at all of the food. She didn't know what she wanted to eat. But it looked so delicious. The foal began to do a childish form of picking out what she wanted to eat. "Ip, dip, snail goo, mother's eating funky food, Chew it here, swallow there, this food will make me a mare!" She finished up pointing at the dandelion sandwiches. Whisperpaw chuckled as his younger cousin make her descision by making up a silly rhyme. He slipped a dandelion sandwich onto a separate plate for Midnight Sun and then placed the plate in front of her. He watched for a moment, as he saw her take the first bite into the sandwich. After seeing that she was content in eating, he turned his attenion back to his fiancé. "What would you like to eat, my dear?" He asked her in his tone so gentle.
  24. Paw Print had managed to trot the full journey to Canterlot. The mare wasn't quite used to the big city. But, she managed to cope perfectly fine. She had memorized the place where she was meant to be. Unfortunately for Paw Print, she didn't know her way around Canterlot as this was her first time there. The mare had to ask for directions several times until she was able to make her way to the place on the invite. Paw Print let out a peaceful sigh as she entered. Her eyes scanned the area. A smile was firmly planted on her face. She saw the familiar faces ahead and happily trotted towards them. "Hey everypony! Congratulations Syd." She spoke with a smile. "You don't know how hard it is to get here if you've never been to Canterlot before. But, I'm glad to be here."
