I agree. ITS A TRAP! But we all know that there are thousands of bronies. All it takes is just one accepting the offer... In other words, I have a bad feeling about this...

I started with the pilot episodes. While I didn't like it as much as other episodes in the series, it did get me started. When I introduce someone to MLP, I try to match episodes to their personalities and interests. I showed my friend Lesson Zero because he's really into psychology and things like that. And the creepiness level that Twilight achieved is almost as high as how creepy my friend can be . But I agree that Lesson Zero does require prior knowledge about the characters. You have to know Fluttershy's personality to understand why the scene with the bear is as shocking and funny as it is.

Anyways, I have a list of episodes that I would use to introduce someone MLP:

• Return of Harmony (parts 1 and 2)
  
• Hurricane Fluttershy
  
• Applebuck Season
  
• Sweet and Elite
  
• Winter Wrapup
  
• Green isn't your color
  

Also I would use Season 1 episodes to introduce because we all know it gets really good in season 2.

I was on my way with my family to see the Avengers one sunday evening. When we got into the parking lot I spotted a couple guys walking out the theater. I saw one of them wearing a peculiar shirt. I stuck my head out of the window and saw he was wearing this:

I immediately yelled out my window, "HEY! BROHOOF!" and gave him an air-brohoof! He complied and we went our merry ways!

Before that had occurred. I was sitting on a school bus after school was over. I was looking out the window, waiting for my sister. Then I saw a kid wearing a red "Have a Derpy Day" T-shirt.

I wanted to talk to him, but I was too nervous to and I didn't want to the bus to leave me. So I didn't. A couple weeks later, I saw him again and this time I worked the courage and speed to go up to him and quickly ask him about the shirt. I asked whether he got if from WeLoveFine or not. He said he got it from Hot Topic. I told him thanks and brohoofed him and sprinted back to the bus.

From those 2 experiences, I learned that shirts are a great signal to someone that you're a brony and you have to be confident and straightforward when meeting new people

I've been a brony since last July. So almost a year!

It was slow. That's what bothered me about it.

I thought as much. It was pretty slow for me as well. I thought it was just because the site got tons of traffic. So when I did go on I just bore with it.

I wish I could go. But parents don't want me like me leaving the house for a couple hours by myself, much less going out of state to a convention for a couple days.

I went on that site sometimes. It doesn't really bother me that it shut down. I wonder why people don't like it...

It takes a lot to get me angry and stuff. however, I do have annoyances:

• People who force MLP onto others. Yes its an awesome show, but if they say "No, I'm not interested," then, no means no. If they do eventually become interested, they'll seek it out themselves.
  
• Those who rage at those who don't like MLP. This ties back into forcing the show. If they don't like it, then to each their own.
  
• Fan rage. Its just a show people. A good show, but still, just a show.
  

I used to not like shipping, but I've actually become quite tolerant of it. Especially since I'm reading an adorable fic called Of Challenges and Kisses.

Also, the overused catchphrases (i.e. 20% cooler) are starting to grate a little on me. I like "20% cooler" myself, but don't repeat it 10000 in a place where it doesn't even make sense.

I was thinking that we'd have three sections:

News

Fan Content

Discussion

With news, we could use EQD, Derpyhooves News, and any other sites and give our thoughts on it. Fan content could be anything new from music, videos, fanfictions. Pretty much anything from the fandom. Finally Discussion, where we would talk about anything big happening in the fandom, stuff about the show, or maybe it doesn't even have to be pony related.

And It'd be cool if you joined Starfox, just send me your skype and we'll get into contact whenever possible

You all may listen to a brony podcast or two. But how do you feel about making one? I would love to make one!

If we were to make a podcast, we'd do it over skype (of course). We could go live on blogtalkradio or something. It would be a great way to pass the seasonless summer of pony! Anyone else interested?

Well, I do like making my friends smile smile smile.

Baking things? Not so much.

Very talkative and can easily start a conversation? Well I'm a bit shy meeting new people, but once I get warmed up to them, I can talk to them alot.

Parties? Well I like having fun, although sometimes sitting on the couch with a good book is also fun.

I'm very much like Lux, though. I find a nice nonfiction science book riveting, but I can talk and make people laugh once I get warmed up to them.

I've noticed that a ton of meetups and conventions have popped up everywhere! I want to be able to go to one but there is only one meetup I know of in Oklahoma and its too far away for me. So I want to start a local meetup. There are definitely enough bronies around! The problem is, I don't really know the first thing about meetups. I've watched several videos but each meetup seems to vary. Are there essential things needed at a typical brony meetup? Where would we meet and how often? Please feel free to post any tips! Thanks for the advice!
