  4. Nahima smiled at the colt, "Thank you so much, I will gladly take you up on the offer. Although I didn't catch your name, my name is Nahima Haiku," she stretched her wings before folding them neatly at her side. Suddenly from behind her, Nahima heard a voice and turned, a small cloud tickled her nose and she gave a sneeze. Shaking her head, she looked up at the mare. "You are right about that, I just arrived here. I do seem a bit out of sorts. I just came from Cloudsdale. I left because....well...I wanted to get started doing history on myths and legends." She paused and thought, "And this kind colt was wanting to give a tour of the new exhibit."

  8. "Oh! Sorry! I am just a little flustered, I haven't seen so many ponies in one spot before. I just got a little over-whelmed" Nahima gave a sigh of relief and smiled warmly at the colt. "I do seem a little out of place, don't i?" She blushed and looked down at her hooves.
  9. Most definitally! I wanted to do them for that purpose. So thats why I figured a magnet maker would be good. But I didn't know if anyone would want to do commissions for them. But since people want to I would be more then happy to do it and make them into magnets.
  10. Finally Nahima had made it to center of Manehattan. Gliding gracefully down past the clouds to the streets below, something caught her eye in the distance. A large muesum with huge arches and wonderful stones stairs leading to a grand entrance. Having lived in the clouds her whole life, she had never seen such buildings. As she glided just above the sidewalks, she tried to swurve in, out and around the swarm of ponies on the sidewalk. They also were trying to get to their important distantions. "Excuse me! Ooops! Sorry!" Nahima said softly at first but as the pushing and shoving became harder she felt her niceness slip. "Watch it! Move! Gah!" She managed to make it to the cross walk just outside the muesum. No pony seemed to abide the crosswalk. As a large group basically took her across unwilling she tried to squeeze from it. With an almost pop noise, Nahima broke free from their ranks. Nahima checked herself over, "All limbs seem to be intake." With a sigh of relief, Nahima stated to make her way up the stairs to entrance of her destination. "This is so amazing!"

60's Space Food Looks Gross, Probably Tastes Gross http://www.livescience.com/20447-60-space-food-gross-tastes-gross.html Being on one of the Apollo missions sounds like a blast, but in the end, you still gotta eat. Shown in this image is John Young's extra space lunch from the Apollo 10 mission. It contains cocoa, salmon salad, sugar cookie cubes, grape punch and hand wipes. The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum released the image today, May 18, to correspond with the anniversary of the Apollo 10 mission. The Apollo 10 spacecraft launched from Cape Kennedy at 12:49 p.m. EST with commander Thomas Stafford, command module pilot Young and lunar module pilot Gene Cernan. This liftoff marked the fourth Apollo launch in seven months. Its purpose was to serve as a complete dry run for the Apollo 11 mission, the first mission to land humans on the Moon. Each crew member was supplied with three meals per day, which provided approximately 2,800 calories. This photo shows Young’s Meal B lunch for mission Day 9.
  12. I just wanted to say thank you for all the Welcome Back Messages. It really brightened my day and I plan to have fun and help in anyway I can!
  13. It would be like, Rainbow Dash on a cloud and the cloud and her are one piece and I would make a refrigerator magnet out of that. Thats one I did.
  14. Before the dawn had broken through the clouds that sounded Cloudsdale, Nahima had just finished the packing the last of her things. It was a big decision to leave the place that she for so long had called home. She slung the saddle bags over her back and gave the belt a good pull. Without looking back her room, Nahima walked away from her old life to start a new one. Nahima had left Cloudsdale without so much as a word to her mother. It wasn’t that she was being rude to her mother; she just knew that it wouldn’t make a difference to say anything to her. Nahima stepped on the edge of Cloudsdale before taking the leap of fate. “Goodbye Cloudsdale.” She felt the warmth of the southern air current as she took flight. Not really sure where she wanted to go or how long it would take her, she decided to go where the winds were going to take her. --- Nahima had flown for over a day before she felt it was time to rest. She fluttered softly onto a white puffy cloud. She reached into her saddle bag and pulled out a map of Equestria. She mulled it over for a moment, her eyes scanned the map. “I should just be outside Manehattan. I think if nothing else there should be some good places to start my research.” She folded the map back up. With the wing to her back she took flight once again aiming for the city just in the distance.
  15. :3 Thank you for looking over it. I know you are very busy. I am glad you like the idea for the myth parts. I know that there aren't vampires, but that was the first thing that came to mind to explain. I can't wait to get started. I already have one person who wanted to RP with me and I am looking forward to it. *hugs* thanks again!
  16. I thought about buttons too, but I wasn't sure they would fit in there and the thing is you want to see layers and not sure if the buttons will do that hmmm
  17. Thank you so much for looking over my app. I made the changes with the great war stuff, I thought it was fully removed. I added a few more small things and I figured since we had other historians maybe I could be a historian of mysteries and legends. Not saying there are but like vampires, history on timerwolves, things like that. Again thank you!
  18. Right now I kinda cheat at making them, I talk magnets from phonebook calenders and glue them to my creations and then I laminate them. But I want to have a machine do it for me. They have a few on Amazon.
  19. My name came from my furry persona I have had for over 10 years. The Haiku part came from being a cute pony name instead of Heiki. The name Nahima Heiki means Mystic Touch in Native American.
  20. Okay, I am going to ask for some help here! As some of you know I make papercraft ponies. I am going to start laminating them, once I get the laminator in the mail, but my question is this: I have a choice either to get a Sticker maker or a Magnet Maker. So which should I get and which would you like my papercrafts to turn into, stickers or magnets. Right now I can't do both I can only do one or the other. I wanted to do a poll but the button isn't working for me. So please put your comments below!! Thanks for all the help!!! *Update!!!* I am going to go ahead with the magnets. I will be making magnets, conbadges and bookmarks. Just as soon as I get my stuff in the mail to do it. If anyone wants to go ahead and do some pre-orders or anything please pm me :3

Man says rattlesnake bit him at Wal-Mart in Wash. Read more: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2012/05/14/national/a072754D63.DTL#ixzz1vAN8gkRp (05-14) 08:40 PDT Lewiston, Idaho (AP) -- A man says he reached down to pick up a stick lying in the gardening aisle of a Wal-Mart in eastern Washington state, only to discover that it was a rattlesnake that then bit his hand. Mica Craig says he was shopping in the outdoor garden department of a Clarkston store when he was bitten Saturday. The 47-year-old man says it latched onto his hand and that he screamed, shook loose the snake and stomped it to death. The Lewiston Tribune (http://bit.ly/J4pfe5 ) in Idaho reports a bystander drove Craig to an emergency room in nearby Lewiston. Craig says he was treated with six bags of anti-venom and was told that his hand could be permanently disfigured. He says doctors expect him to remain hospitalized until Tuesday. ___

Boy finds a piece of finger in Arby's sandwich JACKSON, Mich. — A Michigan teen made a gristly discovery after biting into an Arby's junior roast beef sandwich. Ryan Hart said he had nearly polished off his sandwich last Friday when he bit into something tough to chew that tasted like rubber, so he spit it out. Turns out it tasted like finger. The fleshy pad of an unfortunate employee's finger, apparently. "I was like, 'That (has) to be a finger,'" Hart, 14, told the Jackson Citizen Patriot on Wednesday. "I was about to puke. ... It was just nasty." More on Food trends Satisfy your craving Look for more exciting eats and foodie trends on the Bites blog The employee apparently cut her finger on a meat slicer and left her station without immediately telling anyone, said Steve Hall, the environmental health director for the Jackson County health department. Her co-workers continued filling orders before they became aware of what happened, he said. John Gray, a spokesman for Atlanta-based Arby's, released a statement Wednesday apologizing for what he described as an isolated and "unfortunate incident." He said Arby's is still investigating, but has determined that the Jackson workers shut down food production as soon as they found out what happened and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized the restaurant. The injured employee was treated at a hospital. Gray said the franchise has fully cooperated with health officials and was given the approval to remain open. Ryan's mother, Jamie Vail, was incredulous. She and her friend, Joe Wheaton, had taken Ryan and his 11-year-old brother to the Arby's drive-through, and she said she thought her son was joking when he exclaimed he had found a piece of a finger in his sandwich. "Somebody loses a finger, and you keep sending food out the window? I can't believe that," said Vail. She and Wheaton said the severed section was about an eighth to a quarter-inch thick and at least one inch long. Vail said she called 911 and met police at a local hospital, where her son's blood was drawn and he was prescribed some medication. Ryan said he is feeling fine. Vail said she has been in touch with a lawyer, but has not decided what course to take.
