  1. That moment when you are the creator... Someone is going to have that moment here eventually Sorry in advance.
  2. Ironic because I am playing Silent Hill 3 right now... This reminds me of the Splitters XD She looks so mad!
  3. I know the feeling! I had to have a friend convince me to do it, and then the friend and I had to fight tooth and nail to get the third friend to even apply XD (It took 28 days...) Don't be scared of us, no one here has super powers or anything
  4. Well welcome to Canterlot, Popcorn Puffs! I'm guessing you are going to be doing some RP then? Looking forward to seeing your webcomics, too! As far as being nice ponies... We are super nice, if I do say so myself
  5. Lets take a crack at this. 1. They are portrayed as omnivores in D&D and some zoo based games, but this is probably for ease of upkeep for players. In most other works they are carnivores, such as Warcraft, Harry Potter (although I wouldn't use that as evidence, really >.<), Everquest, Warhammer, ancient Persian poetry, and possibly most importantly, Greek mythology. Stories from medieval times often show them to be carnivores as well. The common consensus of the mythical world is that they are carnivores, currently. Based solely on them having the head of a griffon, which is a carnivore, I would think they are carnivores as well. However, it is debatable that the head is based off of a birds, which may be an herbivore, omnivore, or carnivore. TL;DR completely up to the mods here, but I would lean towards carnivore based off of the Greek mythology 2-5. What Cobalt said, and I would be interested in being your griffon sissy 6. Following mythology, no. Using the fact that they have the fronts of griffons, also a no. Based off of how cool it would look to have a mane... a matter of opinion, but not a strong enough reason for it. So most likely not. However, they can have some cool feather plumage like Gilda
  6. Remind me to never upset you... Rage? My parents have no idea how to do music so they have to call me over to do all of their iTunes stuff >.< I spent the last 3 hours on importing songs they don't even like and had to watch them delete half of all the stuff they downloaded, most of it being my music

  10. Name : Storm Feather Gender : Female Location : Cloudsdale Age : Young Mare Species : Hippogriff Species preference : Anypony How would you describe yourself, physically? I am pretty fit from my job... I like to get out a lot and stretch out my wings. I am kind of too dark in color, but that is all opinion, right? How would you describe your personality? I am very shy and try to keep to myself. That is why I am signing up for this, honestly. I really like to get out and explore, but my shyness usually gets in the way. You can call me a doormat... or a tree. I am passionate about my friends though, and will do anything to keep them happy. What things in life are important to you? I find hard work to be the most important thing in life. If you didn't earn it fairly, you shouldn't have it. I like it when ponies are kind and honest. What's your idea of the ideal first date? I would prefer to go somewhere quiet where I can really get to know my... "date." I would like to go somewhere that has great scenery with a nice pony that can really be interesting. I want to feel welcomed and like the other pony really cares about me. What are you looking for? I am looking for someone kind and honest. I like it when I can talk to a pony and have them tell the truth while still being nice about it. I want somepony who is fun to be around and easy to talk to. It would be best if the pony in question enjoyed nature, were chivalrous, and trustworthy. Anything else you think we should know? Nothing, really. I work a small shop, "The Iron Wing," in Cloudsdale. It is a nice little place where I can get some peace and quiet and have some time to really think. I do not like apple pie.
  11. "Sure thing, Dunder, have a good one," she replied, smiling, as she walked back to her shop. "The Iron Wing" stood tall and strong, a comforting place for her to practice her craft and make a living. She opened the door, heard the familiar bell, and was relieved that her first day had gone so well. She glanced at the clock and exclaimed aloud. Time had passed so quickly, it was already night time! Hmm she thought to herself what a great day. Maybe this shop will turn out great after all.
  12. "Nothing that I can think of... I should probably get back to work," she replied. "I'll see you around again real soon, right?" Storm really hated goodbyes, and had thought this pegasus was really nice and wanted to meet up with him again soon. Odd that my first customer happened to be looking for a buckler, though... Maybe I should make more stuff like that, in case he comes back looking for more...
  13. Storm's eyes went wide with shock when Dunder commented on her not liking the pie. I have to hide my emotions better next time she thought angrily to herself. "Oh, no, Dunder... I... it was fine. It was great! I just don't really like, uh, apple pies the most... sorry." She began to think again Well... at least this pony knows me well enough to tell how I feel... or cares enough to do anything about it. "So is there, uhm, anything else you'd like to... do?"
  14. The hippogriff took a tentative bite of the apple pie. "This is pretty good..." she said, hiding her real feeling about the pie and finishing a quarter of it. "I, uhm, don't want to impose or anything. You can have the rest, Dunder. Thank you."
  15. "Ok, if you say so... I'm still not sure about this, but, uhm, if that is what you want, I'm Ok with it." She smiled nervously again. "After all, I wouldn't want to go back to work during my break either, haha. Off to apple pies we go!"
  16. "I really wouldn't know, I am... kinda... new to this place. How about we go to your favorite place? Oh, how about we go to, uhm, the, uh... 'The Happy Pegasus'" replied Storm.
  17. "Thank you for your purchase, Dunder!" Storm said with a smirk. "So, since it is lunch now, did you, uhm, want to, uh, go... someplace? Talk about some things... It could be fun..." She turned her head down and nervously clawed the ground.
  18. "Oh, that sounds like it could be nice. I am a little hungry, so, uhm, I guess it can't be THAT bad... How about we split one, just in case I don't like it? We could go get some, and them come right back. Oh, wait just a second!" Storm exclaimed cheerfully. She went around the counter and went into the dark back room, pulling out a dull colored but solid looking buckler that was around wing sized. "This should work nicely for you, right? I should have mentioned earlier, but, uhm, I wasn't sure it would fit right, I was so... nervous, when you, uhm, came in here. So do you think it is worth the 75 bits?"
  19. Storm looked slowly at the hoof on her shoulder, then back down to her claws... "Yeah, friends... Maybe I should go to 'The Happy Pegasus' sometime. It sounds nice..." Storm began to think about the name and wondered what made that pegasus so happy. "Apple pies aren't exactly my favorite, but, uhm, it is nice that you get to have them on your breaks..."
  20. "Oh, haha, half-pony" Storm glanced around nervously, flashing back to the swamps. "That's a... uh, good one, haha. I'm glad to be welcomed here. The cloud shaping thing... I can't get it down right.... Oh well, I guess that is because I'm not quiet a pegasus, right?" The hippogriff laughed nervously and showed a bad poker face, "So... you are a chef? What restaurant do you, uhm, work at? It might be cool... to... uh... go there sometime."
  21. Storm looked over at Dunder questioningly, wondering what he had been thinking about to make him shake his head like that. "Well, you are my first customer, silly. I just got here a few weeks ago and started doing some small, odd jobs for some bits. Today is my first day being open here." Storm smiled happily, "I am just so happy I could finally open up, after all this time! So... I don't mean to, uhm, pry or anything, but, uhm, well, uh, what do you do around here? Do you live here, or are you just visiting?"
  22. "Well, I came from Rockwington... After some time there, though, my family and I had to go over to the Soggalong Swamp" She shuddered. "It wasn't really a great place, but you know, it wasn't so bad." She put on an obvious facade. "After learning how fun crafting is, I came over here to work for the kind ponies of Cloudsdale. I worked as an apprentice a while, got some tools, bought this shop, fixed it up, and here I am now, talking to you about my history already, haha. Not much of one, if I do say so myself."
  23. "Oh, uhm, uh, ok, haha.... Sure, it only makes sense if I make it first, right?" She laughed nervously. "Well, lets go take some measurements here." The hippogriff reached behind the desk and grabbed some measuring sticks and went to work measuring Dunder for the shield. "So what do you do, Dunder, to need something like this?" She asked.
  24. "A blacksmith?" she replied. "Yeah, I guess that is exactly what this is. So a small buckler? Like, for a belt?" She seemed confused. "Oh, no, like a shield! I should have known better, sorry. You seem like the type of adventurous pony that would ask for one," She stated, thinking back to her days out in the swamps. Yeah, a shield would have been nice to have then, great for hiding behind when all those mean griffons came... "That will be... uh..." She realized she had no clue how to price it. "How about... uhm... 75 bits?"
  25. Storm Feather jumped at the sound of the bell and quickly turned from the tools she was adjusting to see her first customer. Whoa, what a muscular pegasus! She thought. She bounded up to the stallion, black hair bouncing with every step. "Heya, welcome to 'The Iron Wing,' I am Storm Feather, pleasure to meet you!" She smiled awkwardly. "So what are you in need of today, sir?"
