  1. Seaspray stayed silent as the foal began to express her fears. She stepped up next to the foal and smiled warmly. "It's okay, I know a unicorn here. She works here and she's very nice. Hospitals aren't scary, don't worry!" She nuzzled Whisperpaw and murmured in his ear. "Should I go see if I can find Life? She's very good with foals and she's very gentle. I'm sure she'd put Midnight Sun at ease." She smiled reassuringly at him, trying to set both the foal's and his nerves at ease, again.
  2. Seaspray could feel Whisperpaw calm down a little, and she smiled to herself. She had always liked Canterlot, even though she had only visited the city a few times. She had met some friendly ponies though, and wasn't worried about being in an unfamiliar place. She smiled at Midnight Sun's reaction. She was such a sweet little foal, and completely different from the one she had seen earlier. Despite the situation, she laughed, and as they walked up to the hospital, she quietened, worried how the foal would take the situation. She looked to Whisperpaw nervously, but tried not to let her feelings convey so it wouldn't increase his nerves.
  3. Seaspray nodded as she listened to Midnight's Sun story. She was still very intrigued by the foals love of reading, and even more impressed that she was being so brave. Easier to be impressed by, was how brave her fiancé was being. She knew that he hated crowds, and his love for his cousin was soon becoming apparent as he led the way to the city. She walked close beside him and nuzzled him, trying to put her feelings into every touch or action she did. She didn't want to say how impressed or proud she was of him in front of the foal.
  4. Renegade looked over at the doors to see a rather shady looking fellow step through the doors. He simply shrugged, feeling a little uneasy and kept mixing the drinks. He glanced up every now and then to the pony hiding in the shade of the doorway. Eventually he got so wound up, he had to go and talk to the pony. He nodded to some of the staff they had employed, and once his position was taken by one of the other stallions, he trotted over to the pony. "Uh, hey there. Is everything all right? You haven't moved from this spot in a good while." Thunder Peal grinned at the little colt, and patted him on the head. "Good to hear that you're not alone." He glanced up as who seemed to be his big sister came running over. He raised the left side of his mouth in a gesture of greeting, and nodded. "You must be this little guy's sis. He was tellin' me about ya." He paused and grinned. "Be careful, you might lose him in the crowd," he teased her.
  5. Renegade closed the doors after a little while and switched places with Thunder; after all, it was mostly Thunders money in which they bought the place, and it was his idea in the first place. It was only fair that he got to mingle. Thunder nodded appreciatively as the crowds poured in. "Looks like a good 'un, lil bro," he called out to the red unicorn. He began to walk around the crowd, and almost stepped on a young colt. "Woah, hey there lil guy. Looks like the place's attracting all sorts o' ponies out today. Are you by yourself?" The pegasus stallion looked around, a little nervous that such a young foal could be on his own.
  6. Renegade galloped at a high speed through the streets of Manehatten. He was meant to be at the club an hour ago! He saw a line of ponies waiting outside, grumbling at the lateness of the opening. He rushed in the backdoor and grimaced as he saw his older brother, Thunder Peal, glaring angrily from behind the bar. The two had decided to open a restaurant-slash-dance club recently, much to the distaste of their parents, who had high hopes for Renegade to become one of the most prestigious unicorns in the teaching industry, and Thunder, to become a top weather pony. Renegade grinned shyly at his brother. "I overslept," he murmured, looking up pleadingly into his older brothers eyes. Thunder Peal looked over his shades to his brother and sighed. "Whatever, just get those doors open before everypony leaves. And for Celestia's sake, don't start flirting with every mare that walks in here. I need your full attention taking meal and drink orders." Renegade grinned and cantered over to the club doors, taking a deep breath and using his magic to let them swing open. "Sorry for the delay, everypony!" the red unicorn bellowed. "Come on in!"
  7. Fleetfoot nodded, and threw her half of the bits on the table, and flew out of the café quicker than she had anticipated, and ran straight into a chunk of cloud. She giggled, a little dizzy and waited for Kicks. Once he had caught up with her, she led him back to her house. She flew in and began to rummage through one of the many storage boxes aligned neatly in her living room. She sneezed as some dust tickled her nose, and giggled. "I get so much fan mail and gifts and stuff, if you're wondering why I have so many boxes.." She found what she was looking for eventually and grinned, pulling her head out of the box. "These. I meant to give them to Crescent, but I think he said he liked his, so I didn't wanna force them on him if he already had his trademark pair. These are the goggles that I was given on the day I received my uniform from the 'Bolts. I keep them as my one of my many spare pairs. My mom bought me those ones when I was accepted, and I grew attached," she shrugged, gesturing to the worn goggles that lay discarded on the couch and paused. "You've probably already got a pair of goggles that you're partial to in training, but it's always handy to have a spare pair, and hey, they won't do much good gathering dust here!" She smiled, and extended her hoof, handing her pegasus companion the goggles.
  8. Seaspray smiled and nuzzled him. "It's okay, we'll be with you all the way." She secured the saddlebags to herself and left the house after a last kiss to her new pets head. She turned to the two behind her and smiled a little shyly. "Sorry, I don't really know my way." She wondered if the foal would have to stay overnight, and wondered where the adults would stay. She shrugged and cuddled up to Whisperpaw. The mare smiled to Midnight Sun. "So, when did you first discover reading, Midnight Sun?"
  9. Klutz jumped a little, startled as the filly poked her leg. She giggled and looked down at the filly. "Um, yes, I am," she blushed a little. "Why do you ask, silly filly?" She had completely lost track of what was happening, and had drifted off, it seemed. She shook her head and smiled, a little embarrassed. She saw that the group had spread out along the park, and she saw the stallion from earlier. She shook her head and giggled, trying to regain herself. She was so uncooperative when she was sleepy! "Um, how did I meet Syd? It was a while ago, I was playing with my pet bird and," she tilted her head. "Hey, Rainy, that's when me and you first met, too! Anyway, he just came trotting down the hill and we talked and well we've lost touch recently, but he was one of the first ever proper friends I've ever made! Most ponies think I'm a little.. um.." She put her hoof to the side of her head and made a silly face, giggling more.
  10. Exams for two weeks, will be slow in posting in mah RP's, but I won't be completely inactive. ^.^
  11. Seaspray nodded and closed her saddlebags. She looked up as Whisperpaw entered, and tilted her head. "Are we all ready to leave?" She was itching to get going, and get Midnight Sun to hospital as soon as possible. She had a few friends from Canterlot, and she knew that Canterlot General was one of the best hospitals there is. She looked to Whisperpaw and nuzzled him softly; he was looking a little pale. She then turned back to Midnight Sun and nuzzled her.
  12. Dinky blushed at Gerty's comment, and she giggled some more. She trotted by the mares side, and when she was sure there was no danger of any carts, she ran ahead to the parkland, bouncing the ball all the way. "Hey Gerty," she called to the mare. "Wanna play catch?" Dinky and her mommy always played catch, even though Dinky wasn't much good at it - it was more so a game of fetch!
  13. Klutz was a little shocked, but she nodded eagerly. "What an honour, Syd! I'd love to!" Singing on stage with a famous musician? Oh, that should be so fun! She giggled to herself softly, composed herself and turned to Paw. "Yeah we're all here with you! Don't worry! We'll have some fun!" Her ears fell back and she added in an undertone. "I wish Sable was here, but she wasn't up to flying the whole way to Canterlot."
  14. Seaspray entered the house and moved through the hallway to the kitchen, wherein she placed the basket down on the counter. She looked down when she felt a soft tug on her mane, and saw Domino pulling it. She lifted up him carefully and put him on her back. "You can't come, so you'll stay with Epistola and the puppy, okay?" She then made her way back to Whisperpaw and Midnight Sun, and pulled her saddlebags over. She emptied them so that they were light, and put the books inside. "Is there anything else you'd like to bring with you, Midnight Sun?"
  15. Seaspray nodded and smiled to Whisperpaw and began to walk beside them, making sure that Midnight Sun was firmly seated on his back. She smiled reassuringly to the foal and suddenly something sprung into her head. She stopped in her tracks and spoke to Whisperpaw. "I'm going to go collect the books and clean up the picnic. I'll meet you back at home," she murmured softly, giving Whisperpaw a soft kiss on the nose before cantering off in the opposite direction. When she finally reached the place they had picnicked, she used her cleanup spell, and in no time the blanket and food was cleared up back into the basket. She sighed and rubbed her head again. She was still weary from using the spell earlier. Despite this, she levitated the basked onto her back and secured it with a simple spell. She then levitated the books and began to canter back to Whisperpaw's home - and just in time; she had arrived just as he trotted up the path, with Midnight Sun on his back. She was panting as they reached the door and she smiled weakly, showing the foal the books. "I thought you might want these."
  16. Seaspray sighed, relieved and glad that her spell had done what she had meant it to do. She looked to Whisperpaw, but stayed where she was with her body curled around the foals. "Do you want to try picking her up?" She then turned her attention back to Midnight Sun and nuzzled her again. "You're being very brave, sweetie. Don't worry, once we get you to Canterlot, you'll be okay in no time."
  17. Fleetfoot shook her head. "No, you're right. I think if I had a family, I'd feel the same way. It's hard not to worry about those you care about. Especially when you're constantly travelling, or working, or whatever." Fleetfoot tilted her head and she descended into silence once more. After a little while, she spoke up again. "But anyway! You mentioned your flight suits. What colour are they? Are they comfortable? I remember the first time I tried my flight suit on.." She suddenly gasped. "Oh, hey! When you're ready, lets head back to my house, I have something I wanna give you."
  18. Satin was too busy fixing her mane to even notice the arrival of the others. She only looked up when she saw Crescent shoot off. "Er - Oh, um, hi everypony." She blushed a little, ashamed at herself for not being more friendly towards the others. She recalled Crescent say something as he bolted off, though. "Make sure everypony looks their best?" She scoffed - easy. "Lightning, come here," Satin instructed, fishing a brush from her saddlebag.
  19. Seaspray nodded and curled her body around the foal carefully. She wrapped one leg around her midriff in a gentle hug, and she nuzzled her to calm her a little bit. "I know that sweetie, it's not your fault." The mare leaned forward and touched the tip of her horn to Midnight Sun's injured leg. Her horn began to glow a royal purple, and soon the glow spread to the foals leg. Seaspray's eyes squeezed shut, and she winced a little. After a little while, the glow began to fade and she opened her eyes, rubbing her head with her hoof. "Ow.." She prodded Midnight Sun's leg with the tip of her horn gently, and when the foal didn't seem to notice it, she knew that the pain had ebbed away a little. "Is that any better?"
  20. Seaspray was exhausted by the time they reached the young foal; she had never run so fast such a far distance in her life. She bent down over Whisperpaw to nuzzle the injured foal gently. She put a reassuring hoof on the stallions shoulder, and spoke softly. "I have spells that can help her, until we get to a hospital. I've only ever used them on animals, so I'm not sure if I'm capable of actually fixing her leg properly, but it might ease the pain a bit. I won't do it unless I have both of your permission though." She looked to Whisperpaw, and used her nose to wipe away his tears gently, and then did the same to Midnight Sun.
  21. Seaspray shook her head urgently. "I don't know, I.. I fell asleep, and the dog woke me up, and now she's gone. I think we need to follow the dog." Seaspray's eyes began to water; if anything had happened to the foal, it would be just as much her fault as Whisperpaw's, and she knew that she couldn't bare that thought; especially now that she had bonded with the young filly. She shook her head and wiped her eyes quickly. She then looked to her fiancé, and tilted her head towards the dog, then took off at a canter after the young pup, not even waiting for the stallion.
  22. Seaspray was in the midst of a pleasant dream when a loud barking sound snapped her from her nap. She jumped up, startled. She looked around, something was missing, and her head began to hurt as she tried to place it. She looked to the puppy, rubbing her head with her hoof as she suddenly realised what was wrong. "Oh.. Where's Midnight Sun?" She put a hoof on Whisperpaw's shoulder and shook him gently, yet urgently. "Whisperpaw, wake up!"
  23. Seaspray was glad she made the young filly laugh, and she smiled. She could feel Whisperpaw sigh as she nuzzled his back, and she carried on, enjoying the fact that she was relaxing him. The sun was warm on the mare's sea-blue pelt, and she could feel Whisperpaw heating up as well. She began to feel quite sleepy, and she rested her head against his neck, her eyes drooping a little as the slow, steady rise and fall of Whisperpaw's chest as he breathed. She was determined to remember to talk to Whisperpaw about the possibility of a family later on, and see where they stood on the subject, but right now she was too sleepy..
  24. Seaspray repressed a shiver of joy when she heard the word again. She really was becoming part of a family now. She couldn't wipe the smile off her face, and she knew that Whisperpaw was feeling likewise. She looked over at Midnight Sun. "Be thankful you're not eating a picnic in Seasaddle Bay. You could really call it a sandwich," she joked lightly. She finished her own sandwich and then returned to her position as she lay with her head on Whisperpaw's back, basking once more in the afternoon sunlight. She turned her head a little, watching as the ring on her horn glinted in the sunlight. It still felt so surreal; like a beautiful dream. She chuckled softly and nuzzled Whisperpaw's back.
  25. Seaspray smiled as she got through to the foal, and nodded at her choice in food. She turned back to Whisperpaw and tilted her head. "You know, those dandelion sandwiches do look rather tasty." She laughed lightly and shrugged. "I'll have one too." She took her plate from Whisperpaw with her magic, nuzzled him in thanks and began to tuck in. As she chewed, she sighed appreciatevely. Between a bite, Seaspray looked up to him again. "This really is delicious. Thank you for taking such care for a wonderful treat for us."
