    New episode time! Was I the only one who thought of the Simpsons teenager worker with the Snails look-alike? Also, hoof-kissing is now canon.

    Rarity was originally going to be the one to call the result "Mule ears", but I figure she wants to distance herself from the word "mule" as much as possible. In case any of you are wondering, "mule ears" is a bowling term referring to the corner pins, specifically when they are the only ones standing. Same thing with "Snake eyes". "Apple" actually refers to the bowling ball, although it can also mean "Screwing up during a clutch situation".

    The story jumps a bit ahead here. Yes, AJ is holding that bowling ball with her tail. I want to have as much variety as possible for how the ponies will throw their balls, and AJ is shown to be quite adept with her tail so I figured, "Why not?".

    I like AJ the most for a reason. I thought I would get a higher rating with Twilight and Rarity though. I'm also surprised I got such a high rating with Dash, since I don't think I'm like her at all.

    It's been a while. http://www.dragon-mango.com/ponygame/ AJ finally gets to star in a game! And it's looking to be the best one so far. Mostly a platformer: Z to jump, X to buck. Press shift for Rarity. You can buck trees for apples, which restore health and refill your "appleshield" if you have one. Still just a demo, but it does contain a boss (aim for the head), so there is a sense of accomplishment for getting that far and beating it.

    Although I wouldn't put ALL the blame on the writer, it's clear to me that this episode had a different pace than the previous ones. Technology is more obvious, the scene set-ups and how they played out were more plain and there was a feeling of recycling, since the only new appealing subject to me this episode was the "Mare Do Well Costume". While I'm at it, almost nothing from this episode will be used/mentioned again at all. I guess I really wanted the Mare Do Well to be her own character, I found that costume to be fabulous. Baby comparisons: Spoilered because ugly design! I guess it's the eyes. And the diaper.

    This is the first episode written by Merriwether Williams, a new writer on the show. All things considered, she probably hasn't adjusted to the show's lore yet, which could explain some of the...lesser aspects of this episode (Like that baby pony. I think it's the diaper that really screws it's appeal). That being said, she's supposed to be experienced. I'm seeing a lot of correlations with the reactions to this episode and "Look before you sleep" from last season. 8th episode curse, perhaps? Of course, those episodes are nothing alike, so I guess I shouldn't look into it that much.

    I was thinking more along the lines of "Darkwing Duck!" with the costume design, but apparently Rarity likes Batman too. And for the love of Celestia: STOP. QUOTING. THAT. VIDEO!!

    Truth be told, I thought this episode was a bit plain. Nothing really bad, but it's missing something all the previous episodes had. I think Rainbow's screw-ups in the second half weren't as funny/entertaining as they should have been. Moreover the plot, although decent, turned out really standard. I was kinda hoping for a new pony.

    Seems most likely now that the Mare'er do well is all of Rainbow's friends combined. Rarity makes the costumes. Twilight is the magic version. AJ is the strong version. Fluttershy is the flying version. And Pinkie Pie predicts the troubles with her 6th sense. EDIT: YES. I WAS RIGHT.

    Also, did anyone notice that there were NO BG ponies this episode? Well, there might have been ONE.

    I remember that back then, there was already fan art of Dash with a turtle (Speedy the turtle). Fans considered Speedy was half-canon when they actually gave Dash a pet turtle in the toy line (as well as a random squirrel).Of course, Dash actually has a tortoise now.

    Tank the turtle, eh? I was kinda hoping he'd start flying like Gomera(I think that's the giant turtle monster). Liked the "Flight of the Valkyries" BGM, looking forward to getting that.

    http://www.equestria...rming.html#more Christmas episode? Christmas episode. Air date: December 17th I guess this also means we will REALLY find out how Equestria was made. Also, there was a mention before that there would be additional information on how the world was before it was taken from Discord's grasp, so we might even see him again (in flashbacks). Additionally, this is apparently the 13th episode in production, which means it's being aired before 2 other episodes which were finished before it.
