Strawberry Orange Strawberry floated quietly beside Rainbow, listening to the ponies exchange ideas. Rainbows were kinda like art... like her sister's confectionaries too. She could never understand just how Mallow got her candies to look so pretty - she even designed and made the pretty boxes they were in herself too! "Art is nice, but I can never really understand it, just because I can't draw myself. I'm a practical pony." She said. "And not to sound rude... but could we get to seeing the town as we talk? I just want to get a mental map of where everything is so I can report back to my sister about any supply shops there are in town."

Aqua Drop Upon seeing the small village spread across the horizon, Aqua lost all apprehention upon meeting the villagers. It was simply adorable! Bright colorful little houses with cobblestone streets weaving to and fro between them. Little flowers blooming in every corner, and from here she could see the other ponies trotting back and forth, or flying from place to place. Giggling happily, Aqua took a step forward... and slipped. Tumbling forward, she started barrel-rolling right down the hill, head over fin! She curled herself into a loop, still giggling as she rolled right down the hill at high speed, rocketing past very surprised ponies as she rolled right into to the middle of the street, coming to an exhausted, but happy, halt. She uncurled herself, her eyes crossed a little as she dizzily looked around waiting for the world to stop spinning. She shook her head, sitting up as she curled her tail around herself like a cat to prop herself up. She whipped her head back and forth, trying to take in all the sights and sounds. The surprised ponies around her were giving her confused and slightly apprehensive looks at the strange creature that literally rolled right into town, but she didn't care! She knew Tempest would be right behind her to support her, ahd she was too happy to really care what the townsponies thought!

Thanks guys. It's the next day and I'm feeling a bit better. Also some awesome folks over on FA have commissioned me to help out, and I'm more than happy to draw for them.

My thought bubbles. -Aww, Faust did a fantastic job on the show. At least she's keeping her hooves in the shallow ends of the production, so she can keep an eye on it. - I'm hoping that the writers, animators, and everyone else on the team has realized just how ATTENTIVE the show's fans are, and kinda how we 'make' the show too. (ex: Derpy) So, if they don't want to lose face, keep there ears on the fans! We really do have good ideas! - OMG Derpy is a full character now omgomgomgomgomg I hope they keep her name! - Hasbro had BETTER not try and stick there ugly mugs into the show too far. We've seen what bad decisions they've made (ex: G3.5 horrors) and if they really want to cash in on the show, let the show's team do their job right.

Spike Spike's tummy rumbled slightly at the mention of gemstones... with Rarity so busy, he hadn't gotten a chance to tag along on one of her jewel hunts in a while, and his stash of snacks had long disappeared. "Well, I don't eat just gemstones. There are some nice treats here in Ponyville. Muffins... cupcakes... hay fries... fruit... they have lots for me to eat here. I'm not so partial to the daisy-and-cucumber sandwiches though. And, I'm friends with a unicorn who's special ability is to find gemstones, so I often go with her on her gem hunts, and get some snacks as a reward." He said, blushing as he though of his precious, beautiful, and generous Rarity. "A-anyways. There's lots of excitement here in Ponyville, surprisingly. Just last month we had a Parasprite infestation, and you wouldn't BELIEVE the wacky, but effective, way another of my friends got rid of them! And, another friend is the best apple-bucker you've ever seen! She owns a huge apple farm just outside of Ponyville. Oh, and I'm also friends with a pegasus who won the Young Fliers Competition a few weeks ago! She spends lots of her time here in Ponyville with her - and my - friends!" Spike rambled excitedly on, spouting out good points about all of his wonderful friends, so excited that he was practically dragging poor Truffle out of the crowd, finally getting to the edge of the Marketplace where there was some space and fresh air.

Strawberry Orange Orange watch the strange pony try and start two conversations at once.... and somehow succeed in a odd way until her bungee snapped. Even though she landed on the ground with a loud thud, she brushed it off and zipped back into the tree, apparently unhurt. "Yeah..... I can see that." She said, shaking the befuddled expression from her face. She sidled up closer beside Rainbow, leaning her head close to her ear. "Is.... is she always like this?" She whispered to Rainbow, still looking at the smiling Pinkie with an eyebrow raised. If Pinkie was this crazy ALL the time... her sister was in some serious competition for the oddest pony Orange ever knew.

Aqua Drop Aqua immediately started hopping eagerly towards the direction Tempest pointed, already pumped to see what exciting stuff was over the hill. "Well, let's get going! I can't wait to see what your buildings look like, what your food tastes like, what your ponies do all day! All I used to really do was swim in circles, eat seaweed, and bash up some sharks. I've heard of land ponies having different jobs, but I've never seen them in action!" She kept hopping eagerly, but she couldn't go any faster than a normal land ponies' trot. Aqua figured this might be a problem later on, but right then she didn't care. She never took the time to look for land ponies on any islands out in the sea, but since she was right inland, she may as well make some new friends! She also enjoyed watching the ponies walk and fly - It was just so different from what she was used to! But so ingenious - they could walk and run as fast as they wanted on four legs, and weren't inhibited by a big lumpy tail! Instead, they had elegant tails of hair trailing from their spines, absolutely crazy and beautiful! After a while Aqua got a little tired and slowed down a bit as she got closer to the top of the hill, taking longer hopping strides. "Hey Tempest... I've been thinking... Aside from the odd island pony that may have moved inland... no other pony has seen anything like me, have they? I mean, I can stand up for myself.... but won't you get odd looks for hanging out with a weird thing like me?"

Apple Mallow "WELL, what I recommend of course are my specialty, my fruit-flavoured marshmallows. Of course, while I do use sugar I try and use real fruit extracts to keep the natural flavor in my candies. So I can guarantee all of my candies are better than any you have tried before! I also have hard candies, soft candies, hard-and-soft candies, lollipops, caramels........" Mallow's voice trailed off as she disappeared into the kitchen, where some loud crashes and rattles were heard from. ".............special blend of flavored candies too! I like to mix up odd flavours that ponies haven't heard of tasted yet! I do have classics, but my 'odd concoctions' as my sister calls them, are my favourites." She said as she reappeared, pushing along a large cart piled high with assorted candy bags, colorful boxes, and the odd random loose candy thrown on top. She seemed to not have stopped talking the whole time she was in the kitchen, not noticing that the two in the front of the store didn't hear the middle of her speech. She wheeled it around the counter, stopping it in front of Fizzy. "Here, try your pick! Take as many as you want too, it won't take me long to fill she shelves once I get going with the candies! Oh, Boss, come try some for yourself too! You haven't tried any of my candies yet!"

Lmao ah well, even if it is boring I need something to occupy myself between drawing, rping and work. Maybe once I get some wow time and Cata, you and I can do some running around for fun :>

Currently downloading it, looks somewhat alright. Some of the classes and races are...myeh. Curious about it cause - A: Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine is turning out to be a bit too much of a grind fest for me. B: Don't have the money to get WoW: Cata and WoW time. Anyone play it that wouldn't mind chatting with me? Or showing me the ropes?

Spike Spike gingerly shook the brown dragon's hand, careful of her sharp claws. Even if he did have tough scales, those looked too sharp to be careless around. "Nice to meet'cha, Truffle. And hey - This 'scaly mailbox' does his job right! I'm not Twilight's Number One Assistant for nothing! And this place isn't so boring, if you know where all the excitement is! Since you and I have some time to kill, why don't I show you around town? Maybe we can find someone who will be interested in your sculptures along the way." He started walking forward, still holding onto truffle's claw so he could lead her out of the still-busy marketplace. If there was one thing he had learned while living in a pony-filled town, it was how not to get stepped on.

Strawberry Orange Orange was about to reply to Rainbow when suddenly a bright pink earth pony literally bounced into the conversation, seeming to ignore gravity as she buzzed up a tree to get closer to the two pegasi hovering in the air. She was stunned as the earth pony chattered out a long stream of questions, one of them asking what her name was. Oh cheese... this earth pony reminds me too much of my sister... I hope I' m not around when she meets my sister one day - or I'm sure there will be some sort of sugary explosion. She thought to herself before answering the pink pony. "Uh... My name's Strawberry Orange. I just moved here with my - I mean -I'd love a tour of the town, if you can keep up with us." She stuttered, catching herself before she automatically mentioned her sister. There wasn't anything wrong with Pinkie Pie... she just didn't want to be around when her sister inevitably met Pinkie. From the sounds of it, Pinkie was in the confectionery business too, and undoubtedly the two of them will meet, despite the size of the town.

Apple Mallow Mallow grinned broadly, flipping herself right way around and buzzing through the kitchen door. She fluttered right over the counter to land right in front of Fizzy, holding out a rainbow-powdered hoof for Fizzy to shake. "My name is Mallow! I'm the new candy-maker in town. I'm nearly done putting away my supplies, so I haven't gotten a start on any new candies just yet." She said a bit apologetically, but then she brightened up as an idea popped into her head, just as Chocolate Specter mentioned the free candies. "Yeah, I was just gonna say that! I still have a bunch of leftovers from my old workplace I took with me! I'll go get them right away!" She said, fluttering up into the air and flying towards the kitchen door. ((edited to fix - like a dummy I missed that Specter already allowed the free candies idea))

Aqua Drop "Oh, well, I figured that since I'm going to be walking around on dirt and gravel and who knows what else is on land, I should protect my tail so I don't scrape the pelt off of it. My pelt isn't used to anything harder than sand and sea floor to be pushing off of." She said, hopping over to Tempest. She found that while hopping around like that was a bit difficult, it wasn't unmanageable, specially with the little shoe-thing she put on her tailfin. Added more traction. And the more she walked, the more she got used to the rhythm. "Well? Shall we be off then? I can't wait to see what kind of buildings you land ponies live in, and what sort of things you ponies do on a day-to-day basis." Aqua said, smiling happily. "Oh, and if you want, I can try and carry some of your instruments for you. I don't think it would be a problem."

Finally I'm getting around to those requests! Slowly. XD First done, for Strawberry Blossom. Hope I drew everything correctly! If you can't tell, I have trouble with braids. Can't braid my own hair, let alone draw one XD (Seriously, I can't braid my own hair irl) Made her face be more 'masculine' shaped cause she's supposed to be modeled off of a Clydesdale. Same goes for the floofy hooves.

I pretty much come up with my ponies' backstories and histories as I'm writing them here... seriously. Came up with this (except for the hat thing) in 5 minutes. XD

[ Pony Related Character ] Name: Strawberry Fields Gender: Female Age: Mare Species: Earth Pony Pelt Color: Dark orange-cream Mane/Tail Color & Style: Her mane and tail are both braided, with her end of her tail braid dragging on the ground. Both are made up of red, leaf green and light lime green stripes, woven interlocking in her braids. Eye Color: Pink-red. Cutie Mark: Two strawberries, one bigger than the other. Physique: Residence: Small and dainty-looking, but she can haul a full cart of strawberries from her farm to the marketplace without sweating. Occupation: Owning and caring for Shining Berry Fields, her new-old strawberry farm outside of Ponyville, beside Sweet Apple Acres. Motivation: Strawberry learned of her love of berries thanks to a lone strawberry plant that grew in her father's field, and through a series of events earned the deed to her late grandfather's old berry farm, where she now lives and grows berries of every sort to share with others. Likes: Berries, Strawberries, fruit, the outdoors, the growing seasons, sweet things, friends, her garden hat. Dislikes:Bugs and pests, winter, broken cart-wheels, Character Summary: Strawberry was born a farm girl, living on a simple hay farm in the middle of nowhere. She did as her parents told her, as they had been doing for generations on the same land. One day while weeding when she was a filly, she found a small strawberry plant seedling just starting to grow in the newly seeded-field. At the time she didn't know what kind of plant it was, so she dug it up and cared for it in her windowsill garden. It grew wonderfully, and bore beautiful red berries. When Strawberry tried a berry, she was amazed by the explosion of flavor and sweetness. For the next few years she cared for that strawberry plant, but didn't get her cutie mark until she was digging through some old boxes in the attic and came across the deed to her grandfather's old strawberry farm outside of Ponyville. Her father had discarded the deed because he was a hay pony, as was all through his family. The deed was from her mother's side of the family, whom were fruit-growers through the years until she had fallen in love with Strawberry's father and married into his family. Her mother had even named her after a berry in the hopes she would grow up to be a fruit-lover too, and she luckily got her mother's genes. Despite her father's protests, when Strawberry became of age she left home and moved to the now run-down Shining Berry Fields with the same single strawberry plant that started it all, eager to start her new life and share her gift of berry-growing with the ponies of Ponyville. Quirks:Strawberry is a shy pony by nature, not as bad as Fluttershy but certianly too shy to be a good salespony. This was remedied when she found her grandfather's old garden hat in a chest in the farmhouse - when she has to go to town to sell her strawberries, she puts on the hat, and BAM she's a motivated and forward salespony, happy to help and eager to sell her produce. BUT as soon as the hat is off, she's shy and to herself. The switch is so sudden, it's like someone turning on and off a light. And it can be triggered as simply as a gust of wind blowing her hat off her head, or someone pulling it off her head. Note: She speaks with a slight western accent, similar to Applejacks but much milder. Just enough to show she's a farm girl. Reference: Drawn by me, in my MLP style.
